속도센서가 없는 허브-휠 전동기의 속도추정을 위한 이산시간 칼만필터의 설계 및 구현 (Designed and Implement of the Discrete Time Kalman Filter for Speed Estimation of the Sensorless Hub Wheel Motor)

  • 바퀴와 BLDC전동기 일체형으로 구성되는 Hub Wheel 전동기는 감속기가 없는 직접 구동방식으로서 저소음 고효율의 운전이 가능하여 경전철의 구동부로 활용이 가능하다. 하지만 Hub Wheel 전동기는 속도계측을 위한 센서의 장착이 용이하지 않다. 전동기의 원활한 속도 제어를 위해서는 별도의 속도 계측을 위한 방법이 요구된다. 본 논문에서 입력이 적극 반영된 간단한 수학적 시스템 모델을 가지고 이산 칼만 필터를 사용하여 전동기 속도를 추정하고 이를 이용하여 속도제어를 하는 방법을 제시한다.

스마트무인기 로터 안정성 및 훨플러터 해석 (Rotor Stability and Whirl Flutter Analysis of Smart UAV)

  • 본 논문에서는 스마트무인기 로터시스템의 공진, 로터 공탄성 안정성 및 휠플러터 안정성 해석을 위한 모델링 데이터와 최종 해석결과를 기술하였다 향후 날개구조 설계변경 가능성을 고려하여 날개 빔, 코드 및 비틀림 강성이 훨플러터 안정성에 미치는 영향이 분석되었다. 파라메트릭 분석 결과 날개의 비틀림 강성 및 빔강성의 변화가 코드방향 강성에 비하여 빔모드 댐핑값에 훨씬 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 최종 설계된 로터시스템은 공진가능성이 없고, 스마트무인기 TR-S4 로터/파일론/날개에 대하여 로터 공탄성 안정성 및 훨플러터 안정성이 보장됨을 해석적으로 확인하였다.

마찰교반용접법을 이용한 2피스 알루미늄 휠의 개발 (Development of the Two-piece Aluminum Wheels Using the Friction Stir Welding)

  • Owing to high oil prices and environmental issues, the automobile industry has conducted considerable research and made large investments to manufacture a high-efficiency automobiles. In the case of automobile wheels in which a lightweight material is used to increase the fuel efficiency a mold is used to increase the production efficiency; however, the use of the molding method for this purpose is very expensive. Therefore an automobile wheel consists of two parts. In this study a two-piece automobile wheel is manufactured by the friction stir welding(FSW) of Al6061-T6 to reduce the manufacturing cost and process complexity. The FSW welding tool geometry and rotational speed, and the feed rate are key factors that significantly affect the weld strength. Therefore tensile tests were conducted on specimens produced using various welding conditions, and the optimal FSW welding conditions were applied to manufacture aluminum wheels. To ensure reliability, prototype aluminum wheels were manufactured and their mechanical reliability and safety were evaluated using a durability test, fatigue durability test, and impact test. Through this study, aluminum wheel production was made possible using the FSW method.

차량의 모델링과 엔진마운트 최적설계값의 적용 (The Modelling of vehicle and Applying the Optimal Design Values of Engine Rubber Mounts)

  • The vibrations of steering wheel are required to be reduced for convenient ride quality and good controllability. This phenomenon, vibration of steering wheel, is occured by interaction with suspension system, steering system, vehicle body, engine/transmission and tire complicately. But reviewing the current research activities, most researches are performed for the vibration analysis of steering wheel with a simple model, and mot easy to be applied to the variation of each component element connected with steering system as well as that of the steering system. In this study, suspension system and steering system are modelled by the T.L.H. coordinate system which is usually used by a passenger car maker. Also, rigid body motions of engine and elastic motions of vehicle body in the previous study are considered. Derive the equation of motion in 29 d.o.f. and the vibration of steering wheel is analyzed numerically and verify the midelling of steering system by comparison with test results for real car. And then, the optimal design values of the engine mount system obtained from the previous study are applied to the verified steering system model and investigate the effects of various engine mount design values on the vibration of steering wheel.

증기 터빈 버킷의 회전 진동 시험 (Running Bucket Vibration Test of Steam Turbines)

  • 회전 상태에 있는 증기 터빈 버킷의 진동 시험 및 해석 결과를 본 논문에 기술하였다. 중고압용 터빈 로터에서 9단 휠 도브테일의 치수 변경으로 인해 9단 버킷의 치수 수정이 불가피하였고, 진동 시험과 해석은 수정된 9단 버킷의 고유 진동수가 노즐 통과 주파수로부터 공진을 피할 수 있는 주파수 분리 여유를 갖는지를 검정하기 위하여 이루어졌다. 해석은 상용 유한 요소 해석 프로그램을 이용하였고 실험 전 설계 변경의 성공 가능성 파악 및 후속 시험에 도움을 주기 위해 행하였다 진동 시험은 기존 밸런싱 설비를 이용해 진공 상태에서 회전하고 있는 버킷에 공기 분사 가진및 무선진동신호 측정 시스템을 이용해 행하였다. 시험 결과를 경험식의 결과와 비교하였고, 수정된 버킷이 제시된 주파수 분리 여유를 만족함을 보였다.

Dual Mass Flywheel 시스템의 설계 파라미터에 관한 연구 (A Study on Design Parameters of Dual Mass Flywheel System)

  • A Dual Mass Flywheel(D.M.F.) system is an evolution to the reduction of torsional vibration and impact noise occurring in powertrain when a vehicle is either moving or idling. The D.M.F. system has two flywh-eels, which is different from the conventional clutch system. One section belongs to the mass moment of in-ertia of the engine-side. The other section increases the mass moment of inertia of the transmission-side. These two masses are connected via a spring/damping system. This reduces the speed at which the dreaded resonance occurs to below idle speed. Since 1984m D.M.F. system has been developed. However, the processes of development of D.M.F. system don't have any difference from the trial and error method of conventional clutch system. This paper present the method for systematical design of D.M.F. system with dimensionless design varia-bles of D.M.F. system, mass ratio between two flywheels, natural frequency rate of two flywheels, and visc-osity coefficient. And expermental results are used to prove these theoretical results.

  • Recently, an interest in a hybrid system combining only the merits of the conventional wheel-rail system and Maglev propulsion system is growing as an alternative to high-speed maglev train. This hybrid-type system is based on wheel-rail method, but it enables to overcome the speed limitation by adhesion because it is operated by a non-contact method using a linear motor as a propulsion system and reduce the overall construction costs by its compatibility with the conventional railway systems. Therefore, the design and characteristic analysis of a coreless-type superconducting Linear Synchronous Motor (LSM) for 600km/h very high speed railway system are conducted in this paper. The designed coreless-type superconducting LSMs are the distributed winding model, the concentrated 1 layer winding model and the concentrated 2 layer winding model, respectively. In addition, the characteristic comparison studies on each LSM are conducted.

  • 태양의 극자외선 복사를 연구하기 위한 인공위성 탑재용 소형 극자외선 태양망원경의 공학 모형을 설계하였다. 극자외선 태양망원경은 $584.3AA$(He I)과 $629.7AA$(OV)의 두 파장대역에서 태양을 관측하기 위한 목적으로 설계되었다. 광학계는 Ritchey-Chr 샤두 방식이고, 망원경의 유효구경과 유효 초점 거리는 각각 80mm, 640mm이다. 회전 필터 휠을 사용하여 He I과 OV 방출선을 관측할 수 있도록 하였다. 검출기의 MCP (Microchannel Plate)는 채널 길이 대 직경의 비가 40:1인 Z-stack 타입이고, photocathode로서 KBr이 MCP 초점면에 코팅되며, MCP와 CCD는 fiber optic taper로 연결되도록 디자인하였다. 광학계 설계에 대한 분석은 광학계산용 상용 소프트웨어를 이용하였다.

  • A prototype of Flywheel Energy Storage System with high Tc superconducting bearings was fabricated and tested to verify its applicability for the energy industry. The moment of inertia of assembled wheel with rotor magnets is about 1.072${\times}$10$^{-1}$ Kg-m$^2$. The wheel was designed to withstand its integrity up to the rotation speed of 20,000 rpm. YBCO bulk superconductors prepared by seed growth method were used as bearing to levitate and stabilize the rotating wheel. High speed rotation of the flywheel without mechanical contact was achieved by using specially designed Halbach type motor. The flywheel system showed very high stability during test operation performed up to the speed of about 10,000rpm. The energy loss measured by free decay test performed between 9,300 rpm and 7,000 rpm was calculated as about 45 W.

  • As the ultra precision grinding can be applied to wafering process by the refinement of the abrasive, the development of high stiffness equipment and grinding skill, the conventional wafering process which consists of lapping, etching, Ist, 2nd and 3rd polishing could be exchanged to the new process which consists of precision surface grinding, final polishing and post cleaning. Especially, the ultra precision grinding of wafer improves the flatness of wafer and the efficiency of production. Futhermore, it has been not only used in bare wafer grinding, but also applied to wafer back grinding and SOI wafer grinding. This paper focused on the effect of the wheel path density and relative velocity on the characteristic of ground wafer in in-feed grinding with cup-wheel. It seems that the variation of the parameters in radial direction of wafer results in the non-uniform surface quality over the wafer. So, in this paper, the geometric analysis on grinding process is carried out, and then, the effect of the parameters on wafer surface quality is evaluated
