Effect of Porcelain Firing Process on the Marginal and Internal Fit of Ni-Cr Alloy Metal-Ceramic Crown (도재 소성과정이 Ni-Cr 금속도재관의 변연 및 내면 적합도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study in vitro investigation was to compare the marginal and internal fit of Ni-Cr alloy metal ceramic crown before and after porcelain veneering. Furthermore, this study evaluated whether the influence of the porcelain firing on the precision of fit of dental prostheses. The maxillary right incisor was selected as an abutment for experiments. Ten working models were prepared. Ni-Cr alloy cores appropriate for each abutment were prepared by lost wax technique. The marginal area and four internal areas of the crowns were measured at two stages: before veneering process and after upper porcelain firing. Silicone replica techniques were used. The data were statistically analyzed with the paired t-test (${\alpha}=0.05$). $Mean{\pm}SD$ marginal and internal gap were $67.1{\pm}23.3{\mu}m$ for the nickle chrome alloy core group and $74.4{\pm}21.9{\mu}m$ for the metal ceramic crown group. There were statistically significant differences in all investigated areas (p<0.05). Within the limitations of this study, none of the Ni-Cr alloy metal crown values measured after porcelain firing process exceeded $120{\mu}m$, which is the clinically acceptable threshold.

  • With rapid economic development, general demand and interest in surroundings that consist of our lives have grown gradually. In addition, as there has been increased social interest in creating landscape of roads, which considers all important factors from the user's view including accessibility, safety, and psychological stability, efforts to improve quality of roads are required. Therefore it is needed to establish standards on safe and comfort road design based on sensibility satisfaction of road users rather than based on standardized road design guidance from the engineering perspective. To this end, research was carried out to analyze sensibility satisfaction of users about road landscape focused on elements of road cross section in a city. It identified relation between sensibility satisfaction and the elements by using principal and cluster analysis, and the multiple regression models. It also found that user's satisfaction about roads and a road landscape is high with road width (3~5 meters), clear zone (2.2~3.9 meters), road central garden (1.05~1.9 meters), shoulder (0.55~1.43 meters), median (0.65~1.625 meters), the number of travel lanes (2~5), height of trees at the central garden (6.4~15 meters) and height of buildings surrounding roads (18~44 meters or 6~15 floors).

  • This study has aimed to develop accident modification factor(AMF) for rural two-lane roadway segments. Accident Modification Factor is a coefficient to assess roadway safety as reflecting characteristics of homogeneous roadway. It estimates accident frequency of roadway segments with developed base model and exposure. We found on items of such factors as crosswalk, driveway density, topography characteristic, land use and median through statistical models and literature review. To develop accident modification factors, we used statistical model methods and analyses of applicability and expert judgement method were practiced to validate it. Although expert judgement for land use item was questionable, most items were rated acceptable. Result of comparative analysis revealed crash frequencies of IHSDM and KHSEM were most similar with actual. However, accident distribution of KHSEM was more proper than IHSDM. Also overall estimated values of RSDS were found to be overestimated.

관광지 주차장 이용실태 및 문제점 분석

  • 현재 우리나라의 수많은 관광지에서는 극심한 교통혼잡과 주차난을 겪고 있다. 본 연구는 대포항 교차로와 대포항 주차장의 기하구조 및 이용실태를 조사한 후, 현재 교차로와 주차장 진ㆍ출입로의 기하구조와 주차장 운영현황 및 그 이용실태의 문제점 분석을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 현장에서 실제 조사한 교차로의 도로조건과 주차장의 진ㆍ출입로는 조사된 그림(1. 대포항 교차로, 2. 대포항 주차장 구획도)으로 분석하고 주차자의 운영현황 및 이용실태는 현장조사를 토대로 누적주차대수, 주차회전율, 차량당 평균주차지속시간, 주변도로 혼잡영향 분석 등의 방법을 통해 얻어진 결과로 분석할 것이다. 분석결과, 주차장 인접 교차로에서는 버스정류장과 우회전 차로의 합류, 우회전 차로와 주차장 진ㆍ출입로의 합류 등의 기하구조상의 문제로 직진ㆍ우회전 차량, 주차장 진ㆍ출입 차량의 혼잡을 예상할 수 있었고, 주중에는 13시 51분에, 주말에는 10시55분에 이미 주차장은 포화상태를 보여 최초 대기차량이 발생하였으므로 주차공급이 부족함을 알 수 있었다. 그러나, 관광지라는 특성상 기후나 시기적 영향을 많이 받는다는 점을 감안해야할 것이다. 따라서, 관광지 주차장의 조사는 여러 가지 측면에 더 연구되어질 필요가 있다.

Rock cleavages가 발달한 천매암 사면의 파괴활동사례연구

  • 본 연구대상은 $\bigcirc$$\bigcirc$우회도로 Sta.3+300~600 구간에 형성된 높이 약 50m의 대절토 암반사면으로 대부분 절취가 완료된 상태에서, 1차로 사면 좌측부의 발파암과 풍화암의 경계부를 따라 인장균열이 소규모로 형성되면서 Slip 등 사면파괴활동이 시작되었으며, 2차로 활동높이 35m, 활동폭 40m, 활동깊이 약 l0m 규모로 붕괴되었고, 주변에도 인장균열의 발생이 확인되는 등 추가 붕괴의 징후가 있어 사면의 안정성을 검토하였다. Rock Cleavages가 발달한 천매암으로 구성된 파괴활동사면을 대상으로 지표지질조사, 추가시추조사, 전기비저항탐사, 시추공 영상촬영(BIPS)을 실시하여 사면붕괴의 원인과 추후에 예상되는 붕괴의 양상을 파악하고, 연구지역에 가장 적합한 보강대책을 수립하고자 하였다.

Development of Truck Performance Curves for Upgrade on Highways (우리 나라 일반국도의 화물차 성능 곡선 산출식 정립)

  • 본 연구는 국내의 화물차(이하 트럭) 특성, 도로 조건과 주행 저항이 고려된 트럭 성능 곡선 산출식의 매개변수를 추정하기 위하여 수행되었다. 이를 위해 국내 대표트럭을 선정하고 경사지 진입속도를 산출하였다. 국내 대표트럭의 선정은 자동차 등록현황 자료를 토대로 하여 트럭 중량/마력비에 대한 누적 분포를 작성하고 이 중에서 주요 차종(적재 중량 11톤 이상)의 총중량은 과적 검문소 자료로 보정하여 이루어졌다. 경사지 진입속도는 도별 평지부 직선 구간을 한 곳씩 선정하여 4차로도로와 2차로도로에서 수집되는 자료를 분석하여 산출하였다. 트럭 성능 곡선 산출식을 정립하기 위해 오르막 한계속도$(V_x)$ 산출식을 정리한 뒤 총중량(W), 엔진성능(P), 경사도(G)는 독려 변수로 k, $f_{rc}$, $f_{rv}$, $\Phi$는 매개변수로 설정하였다. 현장조사를 통해서 오르막 한계속도에 도달한 트럭의 총중량과 엔진성능, 속도, 경사도 등의 자료를 수집하여 매개변수 산출에 이용하였다. 마지막으로 추정된 매개변수를 이용하여 트럭 성능 곡선을 도출하였다.

Development of a model to predict Operating Speed (주행속도 예측을 위한 모형 개발 (2차로 지방부 도로 중심으로))

  • This study introduces a developed artificial neural networks(ANN) model as a more efficient and reliable prediction model in operating speed Prediction with the 85th percentile horizontal curve of two-way rural highway in the aspect of evaluating highway design consistency. On the assumption that the speed is decided by highway geometry features, total 30 survey sites were selected. Data include currie radius, curve length, intersection angle, sight distance, lane width, and lane of those sites and were used as input layer data of the ANN. The optimized model structure was drawn by number of unit of hidden layer, learning coefficient, momentum coefficient, and change in learning frequency in multi-layer a ANN model. To verify learning Performance of ANN, 30 survey sites were selected while data in obtained from the 20 cites were used as learning data and those from the remaining 10 sites were used as predictive data. As a result of statistical verification, the model D of 4 types of ANN was evaluated as the most similar model to the actual operating speed value: R2 was 85% and %RMSE was 0.0204.

Detecting Vehicles That Are Illegally Driving on Road Shoulders Using Faster R-CNN (Faster R-CNN을 이용한 갓길 차로 위반 차량 검출)

  • According to the statistics about the fatal crashes that have occurred on the expressways for the last 5 years, those who died on the shoulders of the road has been as 3 times high as the others who died on the expressways. It suggests that the crashes on the shoulders of the road should be fatal, and that it would be important to prevent the traffic crashes by cracking down on the vehicles intruding the shoulders of the road. Therefore, this study proposed a method to detect a vehicle that violates the shoulder lane by using the Faster R-CNN. The vehicle was detected based on the Faster R-CNN, and an additional reading module was configured to determine whether there was a shoulder violation. For experiments and evaluations, GTAV, a simulation game that can reproduce situations similar to the real world, was used. 1,800 images of training data and 800 evaluation data were processed and generated, and the performance according to the change of the threshold value was measured in ZFNet and VGG16. As a result, the detection rate of ZFNet was 99.2% based on Threshold 0.8 and VGG16 93.9% based on Threshold 0.7, and the average detection speed for each model was 0.0468 seconds for ZFNet and 0.16 seconds for VGG16, so the detection rate of ZFNet was about 7% higher. The speed was also confirmed to be about 3.4 times faster. These results show that even in a relatively uncomplicated network, it is possible to detect a vehicle that violates the shoulder lane at a high speed without pre-processing the input image. It suggests that this algorithm can be used to detect violations of designated lanes if sufficient training datasets based on actual video data are obtained.

  • 포항가속기연구소가 추진 중인 제4세대 방사광가속기에는 100 PPM급의 클라이스트론 펄스전압 안정도가 요구된다. 이러한 안정도는 PFN(pulse forming network)에 충전되는 전압을 얼마나 정밀하게 제어하는가에 따라서 결정된다. PFN의 최종운전 전압은 deQing circuit에 triggering되는 시점에 따라서 결정된다. DeQing trigger system은 PFN의 충전전압과 기준전압을 비교하여 충전전압이 기준전압보다 커지는 시점에서 charging choke(충전 쵸크)의 2차에 구성된 deQing 회로의 SCR를 트리거 시켜서 충전 쵸크 1차와 2차의 권선비율이 25:1인 충전 쵸크의 2차를 단락시켜 1차에 흐르는 전류를 2차로 빼주어서 PFN 커패시터에 더 이상 충전되지 않게 하는 구조로 되어있다. DeQing circuit에 triggering되는 시점을 정밀하게 제어하기 위하여 PFN 충전전압을 미분하여 그 출력전압에 비례하여 트리거 출력을 지연시키는 기능과 analog 신호를 digital 신호로 변환하는 기능을 사용하였다. 이 논문에서는 deQing 시스템에 관련된 회로 및 시험결과에 대하여 설명하고자 한다.

A Study on Evaluation of Consistency Using 3-Dimensional Sight Distance (3차원시거를 이용한 도로일관성 평가에 관한 연구)

  • While driving a highway, A driver gets lots of information through geometrical structure, traffic situation, signs on the road. He gets most of the information by visual sense. Acceleration or deceleration and driving direction depend on sight distance. Therefore, it's essential to secure a driver's sight distance for a safe drive. However, design guides of geometrical structure and sight distance suggest respective standards of horizontal and vertical alignment. They do not indicate quantitative standard of combined alignment. Currently, element separated on a two-dimensional projected plane are available, but they do not guarantee safe and pleasant design. I will use the existent model analysing three-dimensional sight distance through mathematical calculation and sort a variety of geometrical structure element and type. In these researches, we will look at how much three-dimensional sight distance is overestimated or underestimated compared to two-dimensional. I will develop a program which predicts traffic velocity on the curvature of two-lane provincial road. stopped sight distance and three-dimensional sight distance will be compared at a predicted drive velocity. I will suggest the way to evaluate road consistency.
