A Study on the Intelligent Tuning of 2-Degree of Freedom PID Control System (2자유도 PID 제어시스템의 지능형 튜닝에 대한 연구)

  • 공정제어시스템을 위한 제어기로써 현재까지는 PID 제어기가 보편화되어 적용되어 왔으나 비선형 시스템이나 복잡한 시스템 제어를 위해서는 목표치 추종특성이 우수하며 환경이나 공정 파라미터변화에 둔감하여 외란에 대한 영향이 적은 제어기가 요구된다. PID 제어기로는 이러한 목적을 달성하는 데에 한계가 있기 때문에 이를 해결하기 위한 연구들이 활발히 수행되어 목표치 추종성능과 외란 억제를 동시에 만족토록 하는 다양한 2자유도 PID 제어시스템들이 제안되었고, 본 연구에서는 먼저 현재까지 제안된 2자유도 PID 제어시스템들 중 제어성능이 가장 우수한 것으로 나타난 목표치 필터형 2자유도 PID 제어시스템(Target Value Filter Type 2-DOF PID Control System: 이하 TVF-2DOF) [2]보다 우수한 2자유도PID 제어시스템을 제안하고, 이를 바탕으로 2자유도 선행필터(Pre-Filter)부분에 지능제어기법의 하나인 퍼지로직을 적용함으로써 PID 제어기의 장점과 퍼지로직의 장점을 동시에 활용하는 지능형 튜닝(Tuning)기법에 관한 연구를 수행하였고, 지능형 시스템이 2자유도 PID 제어시스템들보다 목표치 추종 성능 및 외란억제효과가 우수하다는 사실을 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 입증하였다. 시스템으로는 유량 제어 밸브가 사용되었다.

  • In this paper, we consider to apply of 2-DOF (Degree of Freedom) PID controller at D.C servo motor system. Many control system use I-PD, PID control system but the position control system have difficulty in controling variable load and changing parameter. We propose neural network 2-DOF PID control system haying feature for removal disturbances and tracking function in the target value point. Experiment result for 2-DOF PID controller with neural network are illustrated.

  • PID control has been well used for several decades. For PID algorithms, some tuning methods are used for selecting PID parameters and with these selected parameters, PID control system is designed. But in some cases various kinds of performance indices are used instead of well-known tuning rules, and so variable type of performance index must be tested so that the designed control system meets the some specifications. For 2 DOF PID controller design this paper presents a linear combinational type of performance indices constituting of index for robust performance, which is obtained by h infinity norm of a weighted complementary sensitivity function, including other time domain indices such as error, energy and changing rate of control input. By numerical methods, the optimal 2 DOF PID parameters are obtained. Therefore various types of 2 degree of freedom PID controllers such as I-PD controller are used so that this two degree of freedom PID controllers may give more desirable output characteristics. Simulations are done with MATLAB m file and mdl files.

  • This study focuses on model identification and a 2-DOF PID control algorithm for cooling processes; a pneumatic butterfly-type control valve is used for this purpose. The mathematical model is a transfer function composed of a time delay and a second-order delay system. The control valve is identified as a first-order delay system with a time delay and included in the controlled plant. From the experimental data sets for a demo plant, the model parameters are identified, and the 2-DOF PID control gains are analytically derived by Kitamori's method. We show via a computer simulation and an experimental test that the performance of the proposed 2-DOF PID control system is better than that of a conventional 1-DOF PID control system.

  • This paper presents the stabilization and design of a pan-tilt control part for the directional pan-tilt system for shipboard directional equipment. In order to control each control axis with compensation for ship motion, the 2 degree of freedom(2DOF) PID controller is designed and its parameters are tuned using a real-coded genetic algorithm(RCGA). Simulation demonstrates the effectiveness of the 2 DOF PID controller tuning.

We investigate the 2-DOF PID control system in the position control system and verify the effectiveness of proposal method through the result of computer simulation.

  • In this study, 2 degree of freedom PID controller is added to the conventional feed-forward controller for the purpose of improving its limitations such as set-point of tracking performance and disturbance suppression performance in the conventional PID controller. And the controller parameters optimization as a Real Coded Genetic Algorithm (RCGA) is used. Simulation and experiments verify the performance of the controller.

  • 본 논문은 비선형 헬리콥터 시스템의 퍼지 비례-적분-미분 (PID) 제어기의 설계기법을 제안한다. 퍼지 제어기는 풍부한 자유도를 포함하므로 비선형 시스템의 제어에 매우 적합하다. 그러나 이의 설계는 전문가의 지식에 의존하므로 시스템의 정확한 지식의 획득에 어려울 경우 우수한 성능을 보장하는 제어기의 설계가 매우 어렵다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 제안된 퍼지 PID 제어기의 성능 향상 및 최적화를 위하여 전역적 비선형 최적화 기법인 유전 알고리듬 (GA)을 도입한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 퍼지 PID 제어기의 설계기법은 실제 비선형 헬리콥터 실험 장치에 적용하여 그 효용성 및 실제 산업분야에의 응용 가능성을 보인다.
