Influences of Father's Involvement in Parenting on Child's Problematic Behaviors and Mother's Psychological Well-being: Focused on Latent Classes Growth Analysis (아버지 양육참여 변화 유형에 따른 자녀의 문제행동 및 어머니의 심리적 특성 차이 비교: 잠재계층성장모형 적용을 중심으로)

  • This study investigated how latent groups depend on the longitudinal trajectories observed in fathers' involvement in parenting over a five year period, and the study also determined differences in children's behavioral problems and mother's parenting stress, marital satisfaction, and depression among these groups. By utilizing 1,316 sets of data from 1st to 5th Panel Survey of PSKC beginning in 2008, we examined the patterns of the latent groups and the differences among them. The results showed that, first, a changing pattern of fathers' involvement in parenting is classified into four groups: a low-stable group, a decreasing group. a middle-high changeable group, and a highest changeable group. According to the results of the latent groups, the fathers' involvement in parenting commonly started to decrease at the children's age of 4 years old. Second, problematic behaviors of children appeared more from the fathers in the decreasing group. Third, parenting stress, marital conflict, and depression were more often found in the low-stable group that in the decreasing group. the middle-high changeable group and the highest changeable group (in that order), while marital satisfaction showed a completely opposite pattern. Based on these results, political intervention and the future direction of research for fathers' involvement in parenting are needed in order to increase better behaviors of their children as well as the psychological well-being of their mothers.

Evaluation of Target Failure Level on Sliding Mode of Vertical Breakwaters using Safety Factors (안전율을 이용한 직립 방파제의 활동에 대한 목표파괴수준 산정)

  • A Monte-Carlo simulation method is proposed which can evaluate the target failure/safety levels on any failure modes of harbor structures as a function of central safety factor. Unlike the calibration method based on the average safety level of conventional design criteria, the target failure/safety level can be directly evaluated by only using central safety factors of the harbor structures which have been designed by safety factor method during the past several decade years. Several mathematical relationships are represented to straightforwardly connect the conventional safety factor design method with reliability-based design method. Even though limited data have been used in applying Monte-Carlo simulation method to sliding failure mode of the vertical breakwaters, it is found that target reliability indices evaluated by the suggested method in this paper is satisfactorily agreement with new criteria of reliability index of Japan.

An Empirical Study on the causal relation of Business Performance, Information Capability and Risk Management in the Supply Chain Management (SCM의 정보역량 및 위험관리가 사업성과에 미치는 영향요인에 관한 실증연구)

  • This paper attempts to reveal the relationships between IT capacity, SCM risk management factors and Business Performance. According to precedent studies, Our study analysed 153 cases from Korean companies which perform a supply chian risk management and then developed a structural equation model. As a result of the model test, this empirical study found that IT Infrastructure have a positively significant influence on companies' IT application and risk management. Second, there was a positive relationship between IT application and Business performance. Last and foremost, SCM risk management affects positively on Business performance. From this study, we found that investment in IT infrastructure will increase Business performance via raising risk management level, but there was less relationship between IT application level and that of risk management. For further study should be conducted for discovering effective practice factors of risk management.

A Study on Predicting Bankruptcy Discriminant Model for Small-Sized Venture Firms using Technology Evaluation Data (기술력평가 자료를 이용한 중소벤처기업 파산예측 판별모형에 관한 연구)

  • There were considerable researches by finance people trying to find out business ratios as predictors of corporate bankruptcy. However, such financial ratios usually lack theoretical justification to predict bankruptcy for technology-oriented small sized venture firms. This study proposes a bankruptcy predictive discriminant model using technology evaluation data instead of financial data, evaluates the model fit by the correct classification rate, cross-validation method and M-P-P method. The results indicate that linear discriminant model was found to be more appropriate model than the logistic discriminant model and 69% of original grouped data were correctly classified while 67% of future data were expected to be classified correctly.

Methods for a target-oriented travel demand management (목표지향 기종점 교통수요 관리모형연구)

  • Several travel demand management schemes have been used for controlling overloaded traffics on urban area. To maximize efficiency of the travel management, traffic manager has to set target level that we try to arrive in advance, and then to find optimal variable to attain this goal. In this regard, this paper presents two travel demand management models, expressed by mathematical program, and also presents their solution algorithms. The first is to find optimal travel demand for origin-destination (OD) pair, based on average travel time between the OD pair, and the second is based on the ratio of volume over capacity on congested area. An example is given to test the models.

  • Using Technology Acceptance Model and flow theory as our foundation, this paper investigates the interrelationships among social influence, individual cognition, flow, and actual usage in the Web 2.0 environment. According to TAM, users evaluate perceived usefulness(PU) and ease of use(PEU) of information technology(IT) in accepting the innovative IT. Along with users' cognitive evaluation(i.e. PU and PEU), in case of UCC(user-created-contents), which is one of the representative Web 2.0 features, flow also has a significant effect on users' usage. Accordingly, the current study involve cognitive elements such as PU and PEU as well as flow of enjoyable state during using IT in exploring antecedents leading to UCC usage. On one hand, we consider the effect of social influence on users' cognition and flow toward actual usage because the more users creates Web contents, the more long-tail situation prevails on the Internet. Web 2.0 becomes a kind of social phenomena. The empirical results show that social influence affects positively both PU/PEU and flow. Users' cognitive evaluation and flow have positive impacts on users' UCC usage.

  • 가속차선이 교통류의 운영상태와 안전에 기여하는 바는 벌써부터 인식되어 왔으나 이 변속차선이 유입형 연결로 접속부 전체의 운영에 미치는 영향을 수치화하거나 체계적으로 평가하기 위해 현장 자료를 바탕으로 한 실험적 연구는 진행되어 오지 못하엿다. 현재 널리 참고되고 있는 1985년 USHCM의 접속부 운영상태 분석 방법론은 단지 차선 1의 교통량을 예측하는 데 주안점을 두고 있는데 가속 차선의 길고 짧음에 따라 접속부 바로 전 차선 1의 교통량 분포가 크게 변화한다는 사실(많은 현장 관측을 통해 확인)은 고려하지 못하고 있다. 이는 접속부 운영 상태가 같은 교통량 조건하에서도 크게 차이가 나나다는 것을 뜻하며 가속차선의 존재를 무시한채 운영과 관련한 MOE를 도출하는 것이 서비스수준 산정 방법으로 충분한 것인가 하는 의문을 자연히 낳게 한다. 본 논문은 가속차선이 고속도로 연결로 접속부의 운영에 미치는 영향을 주로 다루고 있다. 가속차선의 독립적인 역할과 영향을 체계적으로 관찰하기 위해 미국내 여러 지역에서 8개의 고속도로 연결로접속부를 선택하고 각 지점에 접속부의 상하류 지역을 포함하는 2,000ft 구간내에 다섯대의 카메라를 설치, 지점별로 약 3시간 동안 자료를 수집하였다. 총 193개 자료수의 분석을 통해서 다중 회귀 모형을 구성하는 독립변수로 가속차선의 길이를 사용하는 것이 타당하다고 결론지었으며, 접속부 운영의 질, 특히 속도를 추정하기 위한 모형을 수립하였다. 본 연구를 통해 얻어진 관점과 방법론은 1994USHCM 고속도로 연결로 분석 방법론 설정에 일부분 반영되고 잇으며 특히 교통운영과 흐름의 방식에서 유사한 엇갈림 구간의 분석 방법과 일관성 있는 분석 체계 마련을 위해서 서비스수준 산정 절차 정립에 엇갈림 알고리즘을 활용하는 방안을 제시하였다.

  • The purpose of this research was to examine the factors affecting motivation for change of injured workers. Data from 305 injured workers were anlayzed using hierarchical regression Factors associated with injured workers' motivation for change were: multiple psychological security, acceptability of injury, and independence at personal level, family support at family level, and perceptive severity of injury, job, and return to job.

  • In this study, industry-specific application systems operation cost estmation models are suggested. We reviewed operation cost models of previous researches, and developed a strong need for industry-specific operation outsourcing cost models. Security industry operation cost model and medical care industry outsourcing cost model are proposed, and tested with empirical data. We showed the validity of industry-specific application systems outsourcing cost models. Future research will be needed to develop outsourcing cost models for other industries and to refine cost models developed in this study.

Study on Optimal Control of Stochastic Invasive Species and Infectious Disease (확률적 확산모형을 이용한 외래종과 전염성 질병의 최적제어에 관한 연구)

  • The problem of invasive species has been recently emerged as one of complicated issues due to increasing globalisation and its consequence of species immigrations. Since in most cases of invasive species it is less likely to fully eradicate them through human efforts, it is often interested in reducing the possibility of ecological disaster caused by the invasive species. This paper provides an optimal control model to minimize such possibility while allowing the stochastic nature of biological growth of the invasive species. Conditions under which the partial eradication effort is optimal are derived. Simple numerical illustration is provided using H1N1 data which is categorized as an invasive disease in microorganism level.
