Detection of Defects on Welding Area Using Image Processing (영상처리를 이용한 용접부 결함의 자동 검출)

  • In this paper, we use image processing algorithms to detect the defects existed on a welding area automatically. It is difficult to detect the welding defects because it is sensitive to lights and has irregular patterns. For this reason, images are captured with 2 kinds of illumination condition, and are processed by 2 different algorithms for each image. The first algorithm separates some ROI's from the captured image and compares the similarity of intensity between each divided region. The second algorithm extracts boundary information from the processed image by the first algorithm, and calculates the length of boundary, curvature and base line area based on boundary information. The proposed method showed high performance in detection and classification of defects.

  • The first version of KHCM was Published in 1992 and is currently used in engineering Practice extensively. The study of new manual was initiated by Korea Institute of Construction Technology 1998 and is intended to be ready for publication by the year 2002. According to the field survey, the action of the individual merging vehicle creates turbulence in the vicinity of the ramp-freeway junction area. The purpose of this paper is to develop the model for Predicting the for entering the lanes 1 and 2($V_{12}$) and the density function at the influence zone by comがring the research works on the ramp junction in the USHCM 2000. The methodology has two major steps : the determination of the flow entering Lanes 1 and 2 immediately upstream of the merge influence area: and the density of the flow within the ramp influence area As a result of this paper the specific functions for such models are suggested through the regression analysis of data collected at four freeway fields in Korea.

  • In this study, The PMF model was used to identify pollutant sources and their contribution to pollution sources of $PM_{2.5}$. The contribution of A city to each source was 19.8% for Secondary Sulfate, followed by Mobile 19.5%, Industry 16.0%, Biomass Buring 14.1%, Secondary Nitrate 14.1%, Oil Combustion 11.6%, Aged Sea Salt 2.6%, Soil 2.5% and so on. Sulfate and Ammonium concentrations were the highest contributing sources in the source profile, which was analyzed to be Secondary Aerosols produced by Photochemical Reactions of gaseous precursors (SOx and ammonia gas) in the atmosphere.

  • 최근 디스플레이 산업의 발전에 따라 고성능 디스플레이가 요구되며, 디스플레이의 백플레인 (backplane) TFT (thin film transistor) 구동속도를 증가시키기 위한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 트랜지스터의 구동속도를 증가시키기 위해 높은 이동도는 중요한 요소 중 하나이다. 그러나, 기존 백플레인 TFT에 주로 사용된 amorphous silicon (a-Si)은 대면적화가 용이하며 가격이 저렴하지만, 이동도가 낮다는 (< $1cm2/V{\cdot}s$) 단점이 있다. 따라서 전기적 특성이 우수한 산화물 반도체가 기존의 a-Si의 대체 물질로써 각광받고 있다. 산화물 반도체는 비정질 상태임에도 불구하고 a-Si에 비해 이동도 (> $10cm2/V{\cdot}s$)가 높고, 가시광 영역에서 투명하며 저온에서 공정이 가능하다는 장점이 있다. 하지만, 차세대 디스플레이 백플레인에서는 더 높은 이동도 (> $30cm2/V{\cdot}s$)를 가지는 TFT가 요구된다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 차세대 디스플레이에서 요구되는 높은 이동도를 갖는 TFT를 제작하기 위하여, amorphous In-Ga-Zn-O (a-IGZO) 채널하부에 화학적으로 안정하고 전도성이 뛰어난 SnO2 채널을 얇게 형성하여 TFT를 제작하였다. 표준 RCA 세정을 통하여 p-type Si 기판을 세정한 후, 열산화 공정을 거쳐서 두께 100 nm의 SiO2 게이트 절연막을 형성하였다. 본 연구에서 제안된 적층된 채널을 형성하기 위하여 5 nm 두계의 SnO2 층을 RF 스퍼터를 이용하여 증착하였으며, 순차적으로 a-IGZO 층을 65 nm의 두께로 증착하였다. 그 후, 소스/드레인 영역은 e-beam evaporator를 이용하여 Ti와 Al을 각각 5 nm와 120 nm의 두께로 증착하였다. 후속 열처리는 퍼니스로 N2 분위기에서 $600^{\circ}C$의 온도로 30 분 동안 실시하였다. 제작된 소자에 대하여 TFT의 전달 및 출력 특성을 비교한 결과, SnO2 층을 형성한 TFT에서 더 뛰어난 전달 및 출력 특성을 나타내었으며 이동도는 $8.7cm2/V{\cdot}s$에서 $70cm2/V{\cdot}s$로 크게 향상되는 것을 확인하였다. 결과적으로, 채널층 하부에 SnO2 층을 형성하는 방법은 추후 높은 이동도를 요구하는 디스플레이 백플레인 TFT 제작에 적용이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

  • This experiment was carried out to investigate the effects of the fist harvesting times (vegetative, stem elongation and heading stage) and regrowth periods (20, 30 and 40 days) after the first harvest on dry matter (DM) productivity, crude protein (CP), CP yield and cell wall constituents of gasses during 1987 and 1988. Although the dry matter productivity of grasses at the first was decreased with earlier cutting, the regrowth DM productivity after the first harvest was increased significantly with earlier cutting (p < 0.05). Also the 30 days of regrowth periods was contributed greatly to the DM productivity p <0.05). The percentage of leaf in the leaf: stem ratio was increased with earlier initial harvest and shorter regrowth period after first harvest. The nutritive value of grasses was increased with earlier initial harvest and the 30 days of regrowth period after fist harvest. Based on the results, it is suggested that good grass DM productivity and nutritive value could be achieved by the earlier harvest at first and the regrowth period of 30 days after first harvest in spring.

Study on the Proper Separation Distance from Intersection to Bus Stop for Reducing Traffic Accidents (교통사고 감소를 위한 교차로에서 버스정류장간 적정 이격거리 산정 연구)

  • The location of the bus stop on urban roads should be installed at a point where it is convenient for users and the impact of bus stops on the traffic flow is minimized. However, the location of the bus stops is determined indiscriminately due to the lack of related research. Therefore, this study developed a traffic accident prediction model and calculated the proper separation distance for the bus stops through an optimization technique. The result of the study indicates that the bus stop can be installed in the form of a mid-block approximately 87 to 166 m away from the intersection in the road section. This result is valid if the number of main road lanes in the road section is 2 to 4 with a level of traffic from 1,000 to 3,000 v/h. In the section with 5 to 6 lanes, it is desirable to install a bus stop close to the intersection by about 42 to 97 m.

  • Roundabout has circular traffic island in the intersection center and is kind of intersection where the automobile bypass circular traffic island. In Korea, the provisional Roundabouts Design Guidelines were published in 2004 by MLTM (Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs). This guideline did not discussed domestic traffic circumstance. It just only introduced foreign instances and their guidelines. In addition, the recent National Competitiveness roundabouts as part of the green growth has been concentrated on the interest. In this paper, 90 degree of the 4-legged roundabout was compared with 72 degree, 45 degree, and 30 degree 5-legged roundabouts by micro simulation VISSIM. As a result of analysis, average travel time is decreased when the inscribed circle diameter become bigger the roundabout. 5-legged roundabout until 2,000 volume per hour evaluated to be similar effect at 90 degree of 4-legged roundabout.

  • This study is to understand sure the primary crime prevention has been incidence as a social problem intended for parents through the analysis of the Crime Prevention Design (CPTED) CPTED element of recognize elements that target crime prevention strategy to effectively help students be and an object of the present invention is to provide a policy suggestion haryeoneunde proposed basic data required for orientation. To achieve the study objectives such as the core framework in this study IPA: Importance-Performance Analysis) also was selected. Subjects of study in 2010 Gyeongju Elementary parents name and were 203 first research group investigating the secondary school population of the region in 2014 to nomadic parents of 297 people sampled selection. Questionnaire that use by this study applies "Important-Performance Analysis : IPA" technique that Martilla & James(1977) presented and analyzed awareness for CPTED elements of strategy for student's crime prevention to elementary school pupil students' parentse. It was the first group, 0.886, 0.920, 0.895 and 2nd group 0.880, 0.906, 0.878 that reliability of (Cronbach' s ${\alpha}$) the importance, and believability of run chart was the first group, 0.880, 0.917, 0.878 and 2nd group, 0.735, 0.840, 0.830.
