Let $D{\subseteq}E$ be an extension of integral domains with characteristic zero, I be a nonzero proper ideal of D and let H(D, E) and H(D, I) (resp., h(D, E) and h(D, I)) be composite Hurwitz series rings (resp., composite Hurwitz polynomial rings). In this paper, we show that H(D, E) satisfies the ascending chain condition on principal ideals if and only if h(D, E) satisfies the ascending chain condition on principal ideals, if and only if ${\bigcap}_{n{\geq}1}a_1{\cdots}a_nE=(0)$ for each infinite sequence $(a_n)_{n{\geq}1}$ consisting of nonzero nonunits of We also prove that H(D, I) satisfies the ascending chain condition on principal ideals if and only if h(D, I) satisfies the ascending chain condition on principal ideals, if and only if D satisfies the ascending chain condition on principal ideals.

This study investigates the effect of power dynamics on R&D and market performances. Various types of relationships in a supply chain are considered. An R&D company offering new technology for product quality and a manufacturer responsible for both production and sales are utilized as subjects. The company with bargaining power differs with respect to the supply chain situation in practice, and no fixed single relationship and supply chain structure exist. However, only a few studies have considered the various relationships among players in a supply chain and their effects on performance. Therefore, we propose three models with different supply chain structures and power dynamics among players. This study contributes to the academia and supply chain practice by revealing the different characteristics of supply chain models.

Supply chain managers seek to achieve global optimization by solving problems in the supply chain's business process. However, companies in the supply chain hide the adverse information and inform only the beneficial information, so the information is distorted and cannot be the information that describes the entire supply chain. In this case, supply chain managers can directly collect and analyze supply chain activity data to find and manage the companies described by the data. Therefore, this study proposes a method to collect the order-inventory information from each company in the supply chain and detect the companies whose data characteristics are explained through deep learning. The supply chain consists of Manufacturer, Distributor, Wholesaler, Retailer, and training and testing data uses 600 weeks of time series inventory information. The purpose of the experiment is to improve the detection accuracy by adjusting the parameter values of the deep learning network, and the parameters for comparison are set by learning rate (lr = 0.001, 0.01, 0.1) and batch size (bs = 1, 5). Experimental results show that the detection accuracy is improved by adjusting the values of the parameters, but the values of the parameters depend on data and model characteristics.
In relation to denaturation of proteins, thermally induced conformational change of poly(D-glutamic acid) was studied in the presence of poly(vinyl alcohol) at low pH, where poly(D-glutamic acid) undergoes a helix-to-${\beta}$ transition without any other polymer. In a dilute solution, poly(vinyl alcohol) enhanced the ${\alpah}-to-{\beta}_1$ transition of poly(D-glutamic acid) due to intermolecular interaction between the two polymers. On the other hand, this conformational change was interrupted to a large extent in a concentrated solution, due to the interpenetration of poly(vinyl alcohol) chain into poly(D-glutamic acid) chain which prevented the intramolecular association of poly(D-glutamic acid) chain. A conformational change from ${\beta}_1\;to\;{\beta}_2$ of poly(D-glutamic acid) was observed for the films obtained by casting during annealing the mixture solutions. The ${\beta}_2$ content in the cast film increased with increasing poly(vinyl alcohol) content in the mixture.
Let $f:X{\rightarrow}X$ be a continuous map on a compact metric space (X, d) and for an arbitrary $x{\in}X$, $${\mathcal{SC}}_d(x,f):=\{y{\mid}x{\text{ can be strong }}d-{\text{chain to }}y\}$$. We give an example to show that ${\mathcal{SC}}_d(x,f)$ is dependent on the metric d on X but it is a closed and f-invariant set. We prove that if ${\mathcal{SC}}_d(x,f){\supseteq}{\Omega}(f)$ or f has the asymptotic-average shadowing property, then ${\mathcal{SC}}_d(x,f)=X$. Also, we show that if f has the shadowing property, then ${\lim}\;{\sup}_{n{\in}{\mathbb{N}}}\{f^n\}={\mathcal{SC}}_d(f)$ where ${\mathcal{SC}}_d(f)=\{(x,y){\mid}y{\in}{\mathcal{SC}}_d(x,f)\}$. For each $n{\in}{\mathbb{N}}$, we give an example in which ${\mathcal{SCR}}_d(f^n){\neq}{\mathcal{SCR}}_d(f)$. In spite of it, we prove that if $f^{-1}:(X,d){\rightarrow}(X,d)$ is an equicontinuous map, then ${\mathcal{SCR}}_d(f^n)={\mathcal{SCR}}_d(f)$ for all $n{\in}{\mathbb{N}}$.

We calculated a difference between the YBa$_2Cu _3O_{7-x}$ superconductor (123 system) of critical temperature, 95 K and the YBa$_2Cu_4 O_8$ superconductors (124 system) of critical temperature, 80 K in Y-system superconductors using Extended Huckel Theory (EHT). The valence electron population (VEP), reduced overlap population (ROP) and net charge for the charged cluster models relating to the layer and the chain in 123 and 124 systems were compared. The VEPs of Cu atom in the layer of 123 and 124 systems populated d$_{z^2}$ orbital more than d$_{x^2-y^2}$ orbital, and in the chain of 123 and 124 systems populated d$_{y^2-z^2}$ orbital more than d$_{z^2}$ orbital. The ROP of the Cu(1)-O(1) in the layer of 123 system was larger than the value of the Cu(1)-O(2), but the ROP of the Cu(1)-O(2) in the layer of 124 system was larger than the value of the Cu(1)-O(1). The ROP of Cu(2)-O(4) in the chain of 123 and 124 systems were larger than the value of the Cu(2)-O(3). In 123 system the net charge values of the Cu in the layer was larger than the value of the Cu in the chain. However, in 124 system the net charge value of the Cu in the chain was larger than the value in the layer.
In order to explore a substrate specificity for cabbage phospholipase D, we examined the PLD reactivity toward the phosphatidylcholines with different chain length of acyl groups. The selected acyl chains were the saturated fatty acid of $C_8:0,\;C_{12}:0,\;C_{16}:0,\;C_{20}:0$. The reactivity of these phospholipids were dependent largely on the ratio of PC : SDS. The PC : SDS ratio showing the optimal PLD activity were found to be 1:1.4, 1:2.2, 1:2.5, and 1:3.6 respectively as the increase of the acyl chain length. Likewise the optimum temperature for the maximal PLD activity were altered markedly to 25$^{\circ}C$, 30$^{\circ}C$, 35$^{\circ}C$, 45$^{\circ}C$ when the length of acyl chains increased. On the contrary the pH and concentration of $Ca^{2+}$ necessary for the optimum PLD activity were not altered significantly. The kinetic parameter $V_{max}$ for short acyl chain substrate was greater than the values for the longer acyl chain, which indicates the fastest rate of hydrolysis. By the same token, the reactivity of longer chain substrate became slower for the hydrolysis activity.
The electronic structure and magnetism of Fe chain along the [110] direction on Ag(001) were investigated by using the all-electron full-potential linearized augmented plane wave (FLAPW) method within generalized gradient approximation (GGA). The magnetic moment of Fe atom in Fe chain is calculated to be $3.02\;{\mu}_B$, which is slightly larger than that ($2.99\;{\mu}_B$) of the Fe[110] chain on Cu(001). The reduced coordination number for the Fe chain induced the Fe-d band narrowing and exchange-splitting enhancement, which are responsible for the large magnetic moment of the Fe chain. The calculated band width of the Fe-d band and the exchange-splitting are 1.7 eV and 3.2 eV, respectively.
Analysis for the imidazoline type cationic surfactants was performed by the gas chromatography(GC) and high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC). The composition of the alkyl chain distribution was investigated by GC after base/Acid hydrolysis of the imidazoline ring. The distribution of total alkyl chain was separated clearly by a Bondclone C18/NOVA-Pak C18 HPLC column using 50% acetonitrile in methanol containing 0.1M sodium perchlorate as a mobile phase. Alkyl chain distribution and average molecular weight of imidazoline type cationic surfactants were obtained based on these analytical methods. The agreement of results from GC and HPLC was good. The detection limit of imidazoline by HPLC method was 10ng without pretreatment.
