In this paper, a fourth-order single-bit delta-sigma modulator is presented and implemented. The loop-filter is composed of both feedback and feedforward paths. Measurement results show that maximum 99dB dynamic range is achievable at a clock rate of 3.2MHz for 20kHz baseband. The proposed modulator has been fabricated in a $0.18{\mu}m$ standard CMOS process.

In this paper, active integrated antenna with left hand circular polarization(LHCP) for a transmitter of UHF RFID reader has been described. A novel rectangular ring patch as a radiator of the active antenna is proposed for easier impedance matching, smaller patch size, and LHCP characteristics. An amplification circuit is placed in the opening area of the radiator and is combined with it to work as oscillating circuit around 915 MHz. From the test results, impedance bandwidth of 29 MHz, 3 dB axial ratio bandwidth of 20 MHz, 3 dB beamwidth of 85 degree, and effective radiation power of 8.8 dBm have been obtained.

The perpendicular magnetic anisotropy of sputtered CoFeB thin films covered by MgO was investigated by vibrating sample magnetometry. Three different $Co_xFe_{80-x}B_{20}$ alloys were studied. Under out-of plane magnetic field, the saturation field was found to increase with increasing the Co content. The magnetization and interface anisotropy energy were obtained for all samples. Both showed a marked dependence on the MgO overlayer thickness. In addition, their variations were found to be non-monotonous as a function of the Co concentration.

In this paper, we propose DLP(Dual Linear Polarization) array antenna for 3.5 GHz band. The proposed antenna has 1×4 array antenna and design two port network. A cross shape is inserted at the bottom of the patch for impedance matching. The size of each patch antenna is 18.85 mm(W1)×18.85 mm(L1), array antenna is designed on the FR-4 substrate, which is 236.0 mm(W)×60.2 mm(L), thickness (h) 1.6 mm, and the dielectric constant is 4.3. From the fabrication and measurement results, bandwidths of 70 MHz (3.54 to 3.61 GHz) for input port 1, 75 MHz (3.55 to 3.625 GHz) for input port 2 are obtained on the basis of -10 dB return loss and transmission coefficient S21 is under the -20 dB. Also, cross polarization between two port obtained.

Diazepamoxadiazoles 4,5,6,12,14 and 22 were prepared with the binary form system. Diazepamthiadiazoles 15,20 and Diazepamtriazoles 7,8,9,17,18,19 and 21 were also shapely synthesized. Some of these compounds were screened to test their antibacterial activity against E. coli and B. subtilis compounds 15 and 20 show potent activity against these bacteria.

Multipass Ti:sapphire amplifier for the light source of DIAL was developed with an angular-multi-plexing, and the characteristics of output energy and spectra were investigated. As the characteristics of two-stage multipass amplifier, the maximum output energy was 22 mJ and the amplification gain was 20 dB on the wavelength of 790 nm. At that condition, output efficiency of the pumping energy was 18 percent. We obtained $0.15cm^{-1}$ (9.4 pm) as a spectral linewidth in the tuning range of 705~845 nm.

This study was to investigate the effect of neurotrophic factors on neural cell differentiation in vitro derived from human embryonic stem (hES, MB03) cells. For neural progenitor cell formation derived from hES cells, we produced embryoid bodies (EB: for 5 days, without mitogen) from hES cells and then neurospheres (for 7 - 10 days, 20 ng/㎖ of bFGF added N2 medium) from EB. And then finally for the differentiation into mature neuron cells, neural progenitor cells were cultured in ⅰ) N2 medium (without bFGF), ⅱ) N2 supplemented with brain derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF, 5ng/㎖) or ⅲ) N2 supplemented with platelet derived growth factor-bb (PDGF-bb, 20ng/㎖) for 2 weeks. 본 논문에서는 K-band SMDS용 하향변환기를 설계 및 제작하였다. SMDS용 하향변환기는 입력신호 주파수 19.2㎓~20.2㎓에 대한 3단 저잡음 증폭기, 대역통과필터, 18.25㎓의 국부발진기, 및 IF단으로 구성하였고 3단 저잡음 증폭기의 이득은 28dB를 나타내었다. 국부 발진기는 고안정 특성을 위하여 유전체 공진 발진기로 구성하여 주파수 18.25㎓에서 0.5dBm의 출력전력을 나타냈으며, 19.2㎓~20.2㎓의 RF신호를 드레인형 FET믹서에 인가하였을 때 950MHz ~1950MHz 범위에서 변환이득은 5dB를 나타내었다. 본 논문에서 국내 K-band 위성인터넷을 위한 하향변환기의 규격을 만족시킬 수 있었다.

The topical application of methoprene a kind of juvenile hormone(JH) on 4th instar larvae at 48th hour after ecdysis-3 , followed by insulin on 5th instar larvae and silkgland weights, cocoon weight and cocoon shell weight, and fecundity ; and significantly decreases percent of cocooning and moth emergence. After treatment with methoprene followed by insulin, cocoon weight increase by 17~20% and cocoon shell weights by 18~32% respectively.

A tunable band-pass filter of fiber Bragg gratings incorporating the Sagnac loop interferometer configuration is presented. The proposed band-pass filter with extinction ratio 20 dB has practical advantages in terms of price and performance in comparison with the conventional band-pass filter using a circulator.
