The κ-Fermat's Integer Factorization Algorithm (κ-페르마 소인수분해 알고리즘)

  • It is very difficult problem to factorize composite number. Integer factorization algorithms, for the most part, find ($a,b$) that is congruence of squares ($a^2{\equiv}b^2$(mode $n$)) with using factoring(factor base, B) and get the result, $p=GCD(a-b,n)$, $q=GCD(a+b,n)$ with taking the greatest common divisor of Euclid based on the formula $a^2-b^2=(a-b)(a+b)$. The efficiency of these algorithms hangs on finding ($a,b$). Fermat's algorithm that is base of congruence of squares finds $a^2-b^2=n$. This paper proposes the method to find $a^2-b^2=kn$, ($k=1,2,{\cdots}$). It is supposed $b_1$=0 or 5 to be surely, and b is a double number. First, the proposed method decides $k$ by getting kn that satisfies $b_1=0$ and $b_1=5$ about $n_2n_1$. Second, it decides $a_2a_1$ that satisfies $a^2-b^2=kn$. Third, it figures out ($a,b$) from $a^2-b^2=kn$ about $a_2a_1$ as deciding $\sqrt{kn}$ < $a$ < $\sqrt{(k+1)n}$ that is in $kn$ < $a^2$ < $(k+1)n$. The proposed algorithm is much more effective in comparison with the conventional Fermat algorithm.

  • < My Little Television > with the new format which extends one person media broadcasting to terrestrial broadcasting is creating a huge Topic Index. It started the first broadcast on April 2015 and has continued the number one in viewer rating in the same time. While viewers directly participate in the program through the Daum TV Pod and a host communicates with viewers in a real time, various opinions are being reflected on the program. While a lot of information about the program has spread through SNS, it has led to raising the viewer rating of program. Recently, the Topic Index on the program has been published through the big data analysis rather than the program evaluation only by the viewer rating. The research on the correlation between the program viewer rating and amount of buzz has increased. In this study, it has analyzed how the Topic Index which is an extended concept of the amount of buzz affects the viewer rating. Study results show that the Topic Index is analyzed to positively influence the viewer rating. It will give a lot of help in studying big data of SNS on the program.

  • This paper proposes a discrete logarithm algorithm that largely reduces execution times of Pollard's Rho and Brent's algorithm in obtaining ${\gamma}$ from ${\alpha}^{\gamma}{\equiv}{\beta}$(mod p). The proposed algorithm can be distinguished from the conventional Brent's algorithm by three major features: it sets an initial value as $x_0={\alpha}{\beta}$ in lieu of $x_0=1$; replaces $y=x_i$, ($i=2^k$) pointer with $y_j{\leftarrow}x_i$, ($i=2^k$, $1{\leq}j{\leq}10$) for a Queue the size 10; and detects collision of ${\beta}_{\gamma}$, ${\beta}_{{\gamma}^{\prime}}$, ${\beta}_{{\gamma}^{-1}}$ instead of ${\beta}_{\gamma}$. This Queue method has reduced the execution time of Pollard's Rho algorithm with $x_0=y_0=1$ by 65.02%, and that of Brent's algorithm with $x_0=1$ by 47.80%.

Design of Wide band folded monopole slot antenna for 3G/4G/5G/Wi-Fi(dual band) services (3G/4G/5G/Wi-Fi(이중대역)용 광대역 모노폴 슬롯 안테나 설계)

  • A modified folded monopole slot antenna for 3G WCDMA (1.91 ~ 2.17 GHz), 4G LTE (2.17 ~ 2.67 GHz), 3.5 GHz 5G (3.42 ~ 3.7 GHz) and Wi-Fi dual band (2.4 ~ 2.484 GHz / 5.15 ~ 5.825 GHz) was proposed for the first time. The proposed antenna is designed and fabricated on a FR-4 substrate with dielectric constant 4.3, thickness of 1.6 mm, and size of 35 × 60 mm2. The measured impedance bandwidth of the proposed antenna is 2910 MHz(1.84 ~ 4.75 GHz) and 930 MHz(5.11 ~ 6.04 GHz), antenna gain in each frequency band is from 1.811 to 3.450 dBi. In particular, it was possible to obtain a commercially suitable omni-directional radiation pattern in all frequency bands of interest.

A Conceptual Comparison between Public Interest and Universal Service (공익성 보편적 서비스 개념의 비교 연구)

  • This study aims to explore concepts of public interest and universal service which have been essential ideologies and policy goals, but which have been a the state of conceptual chaos so far. It sheds light upon three aspects : (1) the origins of public interest and universal service, (2) conceptual components of public interest and universal service, and (3) the implementation of public interest and universal service ideologies into policy. As a result of this analysis, it was found, firstly, that public interest of broadcasting originated from western countries, was rooted in the United States, and then spread all over the world later. After universal service was begun in the United States, it became a key ideology of information and telecommunication in European countries and other countries as well. Secondly, when examining the conceptual components, more differences were found than commonalities between these two concepts. The most conspicuous common point was universalism The concept of public interest includes not only universal service, but also connotes other components such as independence, diversity, quality, and locality which are related to content. Thirdly, when these two ideologies are implemented into policy, there Is a contrast. This study shows that the public interest ideology was realized into regulatory policies, while the universal service ideology was realized into supportive policies. In conclusion, this paper suggests more exact usage academically, showing the differences between the two concepts. This paper recommends an enforced legal duty of broadcasters to provide universal service when the current broadcasting law is revised.

공중파 TV 방송프로그램에 나타난 식품영양정보 분석(2002-2003넌)-뉴스, 건강관련 정보프로그램, 드라마

  • 오늘날 급변하는 사회경제적 환경 때문에 현대인의 영양과 건강에 대한 관심은 날이 갈수록 높아지고 있어 대중매체에서도 영양과 건강에 대한 정보를 전달하는 경우가 많아지고 있다. 특히 방송매체 중 공중파 TV 프로그램에서의 정보들은 쉽게 접할 수 있어 올바른 영양 및 건강생활을 위한 정보나 실천지침을 국민들에게 전달되는 통로서의 긍정적인 부분도 있으나 시간상 제작환경상 등의 제약으로 인해 왜곡된 정보를 전달하는 부정적인 부분도 있다. 이에 건강관련 식품영양정보 모니터링을 통해 객관적인 평가와 문제점을 파악한 후 유형별로 분류, 분석하여 개선방안을 마련하기 위해서 본 연구에서는 방송매체중 공중파 TV프로그램 중 정확한 보도와 정보전달을 목적으로 하는 프로그램과 드라마 중 가족드라마를 선정하여 건강관련 식품영양정보의 양적 질적 현황을 파악하고자 하였다. 건강관련 식품영양 정보들에 대한 건수, 시간수, 주제, 취재원, 적절성과 부적절성 평가 및 부적절성의 요인들을 양적 질적으로 평가하여 연도별 비교분석을 하였다. 2002년도 4월 30일부터 2003년 9월 30일까지 모니터링 전문 교육을 마친 식품영양학 전공 모니터원이 조사기간 중 담당 프로그램을 모니터하여 각 프로그램에 나타난 식품영양정보의 양과 질을 조사하여 SPSS 통계팩키지를 사용하여 빈도 및 평균분석을 하였다. 총 모니터건수는 15,226건이었으며, 이중 총 건강관련정보건수는 5,623건으로 36.9%를, 식품영양관련 정보는 4,848건으로 31.8%를 차지하는 것으로 분석되었다. 총 건강관련 정보 대비 식품영양정보건수의 비율은 86.2%로 높게 나타났다. 뉴스프로그램의 총 건강관련 정보수는 17.9%에서 16.1%, 식품영양정보수의 비율은 6.6%에서 3.6%로 낮아졌으며, 건강정보프로그램의 총 건강관련 정보수는 51.5% 에서 94.6%, 식품영양정보수의 비율은 32.4%에서 57.4%로 높게 나타났다. 드라마의 식생활관련 장면 방송시간비율은 20.8%에서 17.2%로 낮게 나타났다. 뉴스프로그램에서 건강관련정보가 가장 많이 보도되는 달은 2002년 10월, 2003년 9월로 나타났다. 건강관련 정보의 주제로는 뉴스프로그램은 질환, 건강정보프로그램은 음식, 어린이교육프로그램은 식품, 노인정보프로그램은 생활습관이 가장 높게 나타났다. 정보의 취재원으로는 전문가와 일반인의 인터뷰가 73.7%로 가장 많았다. 식품영양정보의 부적절한 평가율은 뉴스는 49.3%에서 72.2%로, 건강정보프로그램은 54.0%에서 67.8%로 2002년보다 2003년도에 높게 나타났으나, 드라마는 63.2%에서 16.2%로 낮게 나타났으며, 어린이교육프로그램 40.0%, 노인정보프로그램 17.9%인 것으로 나타났다. 드라마의 식생활 장면에서 음식의 양이 부적절한 경우는 28.6%에서 15.8%로 낮아졌으나, 음주장면의 경우 10.7%에서 11.5%로 증가하였음은 앞으로 개선이 필요하다고 생각된다. 흡연 장면의 경우 드라마상의 흡연장면 방송금지 선언의 여파로 1.6%에서 0.2%로 감소하였다. 뉴스 및 정보프로그램에서는 부적절한 평가를 받은 정보들은 적정섭취량이나 실생활에 활용할 실천방안 등에 대한 제시가 없는 경우가 가장 많았으며, 전문용어에 대한 설명부족, 영양가 비교기준이 다르거나, 식품 등의 효과에 대한 내용이 과장된 경우가 많았다. 드라마의 경우 음주, 커피, 야식 등 불필요한 식사장면이 많이 나오거나 음식의 양이 사람수에 비해 많다라는 평가가 가장 높게 나타났다. 연구 결과 TV 프로그램에서 다루는 건강관련 정보기사가 차지하는 비율과 이중 식품영양정보기사가 차지하는 비율이 높아지고 있으나 건강관련정보기사의 질적인 평가에서는 부적절한 평가를 받은 비율도 함께 높아지고 있어 이의 개선이 시급히 요구된다.

A 3-SAT Polynomial Time Algorithm Based on Minimum Frequency Literal-First Selection Method (최소 빈도수 문자 우선 선택 방법의 3-SAT 다항시간 알고리즘)

  • To NP-complete 3-SAT problem, this paper proposes a O(nm) polynomial time algorithm, where n is the number of literals and m is the total frequency of all literals in equation f. The algorithm firstly decides a truth value of a literal in sequence of previously-set priority. The priority order is as follows: a literal whose occurrence in a clause is 1(k=1), a literal which is k≥2 and whose truth value is either 0 or 1, and a literal with the minimum frequency. Then, literals whose truth value is determined are then deleted from clause T and the remaining clauses. This process is repeated l times, the number of literals. As a result, the proposed algorithm has been successful in accurately determining the satisfiability of a given equation f and in deciding the truth value of all the literals. This paper, therefore, provides not only a linear-time algorithm as a viable solution to the SAT problem, but also a basis for solving the P versus NP problem.

  • The Pan-European Digital Audio Broadcasting(DAH) system's performance is characterized and improved with the aid of turbo codec. From the fact that the first bit among the four coded bits at the RCPC coding defined in the Eureka 147 DAD system is not. punctured and always transmitted, this paper proposes a new turbo coded DAB system model that replaces the existing RCPC codec by a turbo codec without modifying the puncturing procedure and puncturing vectors defined in the standard DAB system for compatibility. The performance of a new system is compared to that of the conventional system under the Rician fading channel and the Rayleigh fading channel in conjunction with DAD transmission mode I and III suitable for the terrestrial single frequency network and satellite broadcasting.

Early Decision of Inter-prediction Modes in HEVC Encoder (HEVC 부호화기에서의 화면 간 예측모드 고속 결정)

  • HEVC can increase the coding efficiency significantly compared with H.264/AVC however it requires much larger computational complexities in both encoder and decoder. In this paper, the decision process of inter-prediction modes in the HEVC reference software has been studied and a fast algorithm to reduce the computational complexity of encoder and decoder is introduced. The proposed scheme introduces a early decision criteria using the outputs of uni-directional predictions to skip the bi-directional prediction estimation. From the experimental results, it was proven that the proposed method can reduce the encoding complexity by 12.0%, 14.6% and 17.2% with 0.6%, 1.0% and 1.5% of coding efficiency penalty, respectively. In addition, the ratio of bi-directional prediction mode was reduced by 6.3%, 11.8% and 16.6% at the same level of coding efficiency penalty, respectively, which should lead to the decoder complexity reduction. Finally, the effects of the proposed scheme are maintained regardless of the use of the early skip decision algorithm which is implemented in the HEVC reference software.

Millimeter-wave waveguide transducer using extended E-plane probe (연장된 E-plane 프로브를 이용한 밀리미터파 도파관 변환기)

  • In this paper, a low-loss wideband waveguide transducer is proposed for millimeter-wave communication and radar applications. A conventional E-plane probe transducer is generally designed using thin and flexible substrate at millimeter-wave frequencies, considering the very small waveguide size. However, it results in serious performance degradation caused by the bending of the substrate. In order to alleviate this problem and provide a reliable performance, we propose an extended E-plane probe transducer where the probe substrate is extended to and fix ed in the slit area formed in the waveguide wall. It is fabricated using $127{\mu}m$-thick substrate with dielectric constant of 2.2. The measurement in the back-to-hack configuration shows the excellent insertion loss of 1.35 dB (${\pm}0.35dB$) including the loss of 3 cm-long thru waveguide and return loss better than 13.8 dB over entire W-band (75-110 GHz). Therefore, it can be effectively applied for millimeter-wave high-speed communications and high-sensitivity radars.
