Studies on the Synthesis and Surface Activities of Naphthionic Acid Derivatives (나프티온산 유도체의 합성 및 계면활성에 관한 연구)

  • Four amphoteric surfactants, 1-(N-alkyl-N,N-dimethyl ammonio)-4-naphthalene sulfonates, were prepared by the alkylation of 1-(N,N-dimethylamino)-4,naphthalene sulfonic acid with chloroalkanes such as 1-decylchloride, 1-tetradecyl chloride and 1-hexadecyl chloride. These quaternary ammonium compounds such as 1-(N-decyl-N, N-dimethylammonio)-4-naphthalene sulfonate, 1-(N-dodecyl-N,N-dimethylammonio)-4-naphthalene sulfonate, 1-(N-tetradecyl-N,N-dimethylammonio)-4-naphthalene sulfonate and 1-(N-hexadecyl-N,N-dimethylammonio)-4-naphthalene sulfonate could be separated by means of thin layes chromatography and column chromatography. The surface chemical properties such as surface tension, foaming power, foam stability, wetting efficiency and solubilizing effect for these four compounds were measured. Also critical micelle concentration and hydrophilic-lipophilic balance(HLB) were evaluated. These compounds showed good surface as O/W type emulsifying agent and detergent.

  • The objective of this study was conducted for elucidation of effects of the NO$_3$$^{[-10]}$ -N. NH$_4$$^{+}$-N ratio in the nutrient solution on the growth and quality of welsh onion(Allium fistulosum L.). The pH of nutrient solution increased in NO$_3$$^{[-10]}$ -N : NH$_4$$^{+}$-N ratio of 9 : 1 treatment, decreased in 1 : 1, 1 : 3 treatment, but was stable in 3 : 1 treatment during cultivation. The apparent growth of welsh onion was best in the treatment of 9 : 1(NO$_3$$^{[-10]}$ -N : NH$_4$$^{+}$-N ratio), however the treatment of 1 : 3 resulted in poor growth. The NO$_3$$^{[-10]}$ -N content of the plants increased in proportion to that content of nutrient solution. Pyruvic acid content of welsh onion was highest at 9 : 1, 3 : 1 treatment, and lowest at 1 : 3 treatment.tment.

  • An ($n_1,\;n_2,\;{\ldots},\;n_k$)-colored permutation is a permutation of $n_1+n_2+{\cdots}+n_k$ in which $1,\;2,\;{\ldots},\;n_1$ have color 1, and $n_1+1,\;n_1+2,\;{\ldots},\;n_1+n_2$ have color 2, and so on. We give a bijective proof of Steinhardt's result: the number of colored permutations with no monochromatic cycles is equal to the number of permutations with no fixed points after reordering the first $n_1$ elements, the next $n_2$ element, and so on, in ascending order. We then find the generating function for colored permutations with no monochromatic cycles. As an application we give a new proof of the well known generating function for colored permutations with no fixed colors, also known as multi-derangements.

  • 2-Amino-1-N-methyl benzamide, 2-N-benzyl amino benzamide, 2-N-phenyl amino benzamide of 2-amino benzamide derivatives were reacted with ${\alpha}-bromo$ acetaldehyde diethyl acetal in basic condition. 2-N-alkylated products were prepared from 2-amino-1-N-methyl benzamide and 2-N-phenyl amino benzamide. 1-N-benzyl-1.4-benzodiazepin-5-one was prerpared from 2-N-benzyl aminobenzamide via intramolecular cyclization. However, 2-amino-1-N-methyl benzamide with sodium amide did not react to 1.4-benzodiazepin-5-one derivative but 3-methyl-quinazoline-2.4-dione was obtained.

Seroprevalence of Swine Influenza Viruses H1N1 and H3N2 in Gyeongbuk Province, Korea (경북지역 돼지인플루엔자 바이러스(H1N1, H3N2) 항체조사)

  • Swine influenza is an acute respiratory disease prevalent in pig-growing areas worldwide. In total, 518 gilt and sow serum samples and 14 litters (66 samples) of aborted fetuses from 37 farms (average of 14 serum samples per farm) in Gyeongbuk Province were collected between September 2010 and May 2011. All samples were examined for antibodies to swine influenza virus (SIV) H1N1 and H3N2 using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The seropositive rates of gilt and sows were 59.8% (310/518) for SIV H1N1, 78.8% (408/518) for H3N2, and 55.6% (288/518) for both subtypes tested. The rate of aborted fetuses was 13.6% (9/66) for H1N1, 9.1% (6/66) for H3N2, and 9.1% for both subtypes. The seroprevalence for H1N1 in gilts and sows was 46.6% (69/148) and 65.1% (241/370), respectively, and that for H3N2 was 78.4% (116/148) and 78.9% (292/370), respectively.

  • The experiment has investigated the effects of growth, yield, fruit quality and cation absorption of strawberry 'Akihime' in different $NO_3-N:NH_4-N$ ratio in nutrient solution. $NO_3-N:NH_4-N$ ratios were 5.5:0, 4.0:1.5 and $3.0:2.5me{\cdot}L^{-1}$. As the ratio of $NH_4-N$ increased, pH was decreased by $5.0{\sim}6.0$ and EC sustained $0.8{\sim}1.0dS{\cdot}m^{-1}$ during experiment. Though in high $NH_4-N$ ratio of $3.0:2.5me{\cdot}L^{-1}$, the absorption of cations(K, Ca and Mg) was not inhibited. Treatment in contained $NH_4-N$ showed a tendency of increasing of petiole length and leaf width. The fruit length, fruit width, fruit weight and soluble solids were not significantly different. Yield per plant was lowest in $4.0:1.5\;me{\cdot}L^{-1}$, of $NO_3-N:NH_4-N$ ratio. Malformation fruit has not shown during the whole growth period.

교번성장법을 이용해 성장한 InN/GaN 박막의 구조적, 광학적 특성 평가

  • 본 논문은 InN와 GaN를 교대로 증착하는 교번성장법을 이용해 제작한 4주기 InN/GaN 박막의 구조적, 광학적, 특성을 X-ray diffraction, Atomic force microscopy, Transmission electron microscopy과 저온 Photoluminescence (PL) 장비를 사용하여 분석한 결과를 보고한다. Fig. 1은 4주기 InN/GaN박막의 XRD 스펙트럼으로 GaN(0002)와 InN(0002)의 회절 신호를 관찰할 수 있다. 그러나 두 피크뿐만 아니라 InN와 GaN 사이에 구분이 되지 않은 추가 신호를 확인할 수 있다. 추가신호는 InN와 GaN 계면에서 발생하는 상호확산 확률로서 해석할 수 있다. Fig. 2는 다양한 조건에서 성장한 InN/GaN 시료의 PL스펙트럼으로 방출 파장은 각각 1,380, 1,290, 1,280, 1,271, 1,246 nm로 측정되었다. 성장 조건 변화에 따른 발광특성 변화를 박막에서 III족 원자 특히, In 원자의 성장 거동에 따른 구속준위(Localized states) 변화로 논의할 예정이다.

  • Phase equilibria in the system Si3N4-TiC-TiCxN1-x-C-N were determined by thermodynamic calculations (CALPHAD-method). The reaction peaction paths for Si3N4-TiC and SiC-TiC composites in the Ti-Si-C-n system were simulated at I bar N2-pressure and varying terpreatures.   • The contents [average(minimum∼maximum), Unit:mg/kg] of hazardous heavy metals(Hg, Cd and Pb) were estimated from 951 fishery products in Seoul(468 fishes,373 shellfishes, 39 crustaceans and 71 others) from January to December in 2001 by Atomic Absorption Spectrometer. Hg contents showed in shellfishes [0.033(N.D.∼0.19)]>others(0.026(N.D.∼0.11)]>crustaceans[0.026(N.D.∼0.09)]>fishes[0.018(N.D.∼0.19)], Misgurnus mizolepis(0.19) and Tegillarca granosa(0.19) were the highest. Pb content were shellfishes [0.223(N.D.∼l.38)] >fishes[0.213(N.D.∼1.68)]>others[0.15(N.D.∼0.39)]>crustaceans[0.144(N.D.∼0.444)], and Misgurnus mizolepis (1.68)>Hypomesus olidus(1.44)>Tapes philippinarum(1.38)>Anguilla japonica(1.35). Also, Tegillarca granosa(1.85) was the most Cd contents among shellfishes[0.288(N.D.∼1.85)].

Let $H_n$ = {$(a_1,a_2,{\ldots},a_n)$ ; $a_k$ ${\in}$ {+,-}, $a_k$ = $a_{n-k+1}$, $1{\leq}k{\leq}n$} be the set of all symmetric n-tuples. A symmetric n-sigraph (symmetric n-marked graph) is an ordered pair $S_n$ = (G,${\sigma}$) ($S_n$ = (G,${\mu}$)), where G = (V,E) is a graph called the underlying graph of $S_n$ and ${\sigma}$:E ${\rightarrow}H_n({\mu}:V{\rightarrow}H_n)$ is a function. The restricted super line graph of index r of a graph G, denoted by $\mathcal{R}\mathcal{L}_r$(G). Further, we characterize symmetric n-sigraphs $S_n$ for which $\mathcal{R}\mathcal{L}_r(S_n)$~$\mathcal{L}_r(S_n)$ and $$\mathcal{R}\mathcal{L}_r(S_n){\sim_=}\mathcal{L}_r(S_n)$$, where ~ and $$\sim_=$$ denotes switching equivalence and isomorphism and $\mathcal{R}\mathcal{L}_r(S_n)$ and $\mathcal{L}_r(S_n)$ are denotes the restricted super line symmetric n-sigraph of index r and super line symmetric n-sigraph of index r of $S_n$ respectively.
