Analysis on Current Status and Future Direction of CA*net3 (CA*net3 구축 현황 및 향후 추진 방향 분석)

  • 인터넷 이용자와 트래픽의 급속한 증가는 인터넷의 이용에 많은 문제점들을 야기하고 있다. 각국은 차세대 인터넷에서의 기술 주도권 확보를 통하여 국가경쟁력을 강화하고 자국민의 삶의 질을 향상하고자 노력하고 있다. 미국의 NGI, Internet2, 캐나다의 CA*net이 대표적인 사례이다. 따라서 본 논문은 캐나다 정부가 주도적으로 전국 규모로 광 인터넷 네트워크 구축을 추진중에 있는 CA*net3에 대하여 추진 배경, 구축 및 운영 현황과 앞으로의 전개 방향을 살펴본다. 특히 CA*net3는 DWDM 기반의 코아 백본 네트워크와 CWDM과 기가 이더넷 기술에 기반을 두고 구축하고 있는 지역 네트워크(ORAN)로 이루어져 있다. 따라서 현재 추진중인 CA*net3 네트워크 구조에 대하여 중점적으로 살펴보며, 'Customer Empowered Networking Revolution'이라는 개념을 바탕으로 향후 추진하고자 하는 CA*net4 추진 동향에 대하여 자세히 살펴보고자 한다.

A Study of a Surface Modeling Interpolating a Polygonal Curve Net Constructed from Scattered Points (점군으로부터 형성된 다각곡선망을 보간하는 곡면모델링에 관한 연구)

  • The paper deals with a procedure for constructing a composite surface interpolating a polygonal curve mesh defined from 3D scattered points. The procedure consists of a poly-angulation, construction of a curve net, and interpolation of the curve net. The poly-angulation contains a stage that changes a triangular edge net obtained from a triangulation into a poly-angular edge net. A curve net is constructed by replacing edges on the edge net with cubic Bezier curves. Finally, inside of an n-sided polygon is interpolated by n subdivided triangular subpatches. The method interpolates given point data with relatively few triangular subpatches. For an n-sided polygon, our method constructs an interpolant with n subdivided triangular subpatches while the existing triangular surface modeling needs 3(n-2) subpatches. The obtained surface is composed of quartic triangular patches which are $G^1$-continuous to adjacent patches.

Oblique Impact Analysis of Long Rod Penetrator against Metallic Plate using NET3D (NET3D를 이용한 긴 관통자와 금속 판재의 경사충돌 해석)

  • Using the dynamic explicit program NET3D, oblique impact between long rod penetrator and metallic plate was analyzed. Compared with an experiment and AUTODYN-3D analysis result, the accuracy of NET3D program was examined. It was proved that NET3D program could analyze comparatively exactly oblique impact phenomenon between long rod penetrator and metallic plate. The final deformed configuration of penetrator predicted by NET3D program was more close to experimental result than commercial program AUTODYN-3D. But, in order to increase the reliability of NET3D program in the simulation of tensile fracture phenomenon, the additional research is required.

  • 본 논문은 소표본 의료용 영상 분석의 정확도 향상을 위해 전이학습 모델을 feature extractor로 구축하여 학습시키는 방법을 연구하였으며 성능 평가를 위해 선학습모델로 AlexNet, ResNet, DenseNet을 사용하여 fine tuning 기법을 적용하였을 때와의 성능을 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과 실험에 사용된 3개의 모델에서 fine tuning 기법보다 향상된 정확도를 보임을 확인하였고, 또한 ImageNet으로 학습된 AlexNet, ResNet, DenseNet이 소표본 의료용 X-Ray 영상에 적용될 수 있음을 보였다.

A Comparative Study of the CNN Model for AD Diagnosis

  • Alzheimer's disease is one type of dementia, the symptoms can be treated by detecting the disease at its early stages. Recently, many computer-aided diagnosis using magnetic resonance image(MRI) have shown a good results in the classification of AD. Taken these MRI images and feed to Free surfer software to extra the features. In consideration, using T1-weighted images and classifying using the convolution neural network (CNN) model are proposed. In this paper, taking the subjects from ADNI of subcortical and cortical features of 190 subjects. Consider the study to reduce the complexity of the model by using the single layer in the Res-Net, VGG, and Alex Net. Multi-class classification is used to classify four different stages, CN, EMCI, LMCI, AD. The following experiment shows for respective classification Res-Net, VGG, and Alex Net with the best accuracy with VGG at 96%, Res-Net, GoogLeNet and Alex Net at 91%, 93% and 89% respectively.

  • In this paper, we propose a method to segment a plant from a plant image using U-Net. The network is an end-to-end fully convolutional network that is mainly used for image segmentation. When training the network, we used a binary image that is acquired by the manual segmentation of a plant from the background. Experimental results show that the U-Net based segmentation network can extract a plant from a digital image accurately.

  • In this paper, we proposed a multiclass image scene classification method based on transform learning. The method using the Residual Network (ResNet) model which pre-trained on the large image dataset ImageNet for image classification. Compared with the image classification method of the CNN model, it can greatly improve the classification accuracy and efficiency

  • This experiment carried out to review influence of relative humidity, temperature and net weight on cigarette hardness for the uniformal control of cigarette quality. Obtained results are as follows: 1. The difference in the cigarette physical properties of constant hardness control is considerably lower than that of constant net weight control. 2. Contribution rate for cigarette hardness is relative humidity > net weight > temperature. 3. The multiple regression equation of cigarette hardness related with relative humidity, temperature and net weight is calculated as follows.

  • We propose a method to reduce the marking expression about the places when we model a discrete-event system using the Petri net. The net with reduced marking expression has the same dynamic behavior as the original model. The number of the places can be reduced by the number of the resource places of the Petri net, and consequently the net can be significantly simplified, still preserving the dynamic properties of the net.
