비젼을 이용한 손 영역 특징 점 추출 (Feature Point Extraction of Hand Region Using Vision)

  • In this paper, we propose the feature points extraction method of hand region using vision. To do this, first, we find the HCbCr color model by using HSI and YCbCr color model. Second, we extract the hand region by using the HCbCr color model and the fuzzy color filter. Third, we extract the exact hand region by applying labeling algorithm to extracted hand region. Fourth, after finding the center of gravity of extracted hand region, we obtain the first feature points by using Canny edge, chain code, and DP method. And then, we obtain the feature points of hand region by applying the convex hull method to the extracted first feature points. Finally, we demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method through some experiments.

  • In this paper, we formulate a new local move on virtual knot diagram, called arc shift move. Further, we extend it to another local move called region arc shift defined on a region of a virtual knot diagram. We establish that these arc shift and region arc shift moves are unknotting operations by showing that any virtual knot diagram can be turned into trivial knot using arc shift (region arc shift) moves. Based upon the arc shift move and region arc shift move, we define two virtual knot invariants, arc shift number and region arc shift number respectively.

블록 동질성 분할을 이용한 화재불꽃 영역 추출에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Fire Flame Region Extraction Using Block Homogeneity Segmentation)

  • In this study, we propose a new Fire Flame Region Extraction using Block Homogeneity Segmentation method of the Fire Image with irregular texture and various colors. It is generally assumed that fire flame extraction plays a very important role. The Color Image with fire flame is divided into blocks and edge strength for each block is computed by using modified color histogram intersection method that has been developed to differentiate object boundaries from irregular texture boundaries effectively. The block homogeneity is designed to have the higher value in the center of region with the homeogenous colors or texture while to have lower value near region boundaries. The image represented by the block homogeneity is gray scale image and watershed transformation technique is used to generate closed boundary for each region. As the watershed transform generally results in over-segmentation, region merging based on common boundary strength is followed. The proposed method can be applied quickly and effectively to the initial response of fire.

적응적 다중 시드 영역 확장법을 이용한 구조적 패턴의 보도 영역 검출 (Detection of Pavement Region with Structural Patterns through Adaptive Multi-Seed Region Growing)

  • 본 논문에서는 보행자에 장착된 카메라로부터 입력된 자연영상에서의 구조적 패턴 변화에 강인한 적응적인 보도 영역 검출 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법에서는 다양한 패턴을 가지는 보도 환경에서 안정적으로 보도 영역을 분할하기 위해 첫 번째 단계에서는 소실점에 기반하는 VRay를 이용한 방사형 영역 분할법을 통해 보도의 경계선을 검출하여 보도의 후보영역을 분리하며, 두 번째 단계에서는 분리된 후보영역 내에서의 시드 영역 확장법(SRG)을 개선한 적응적 다중 시드 영역 확장법(A-MSRG)를 통해 구조적 패턴이 반복되는 보도 영역을 실시간으로 검출하는 방법을 수행한다. 성능평가를 위해 제안된 방사형 영역 분할법과 A-MSRG와의 결합에 의한 영역 검출 결과의 효율성을 측정한다. 기존의 SRG, MSRG 방법과의 비교 수행을 통해 제안된 방법의 타당성을 입증하였다.

윤곽 영역 분류에 기반한 적응형 디링잉 필터의 설계 및 성능 분석 (Adaptive Deringing filter's Design and Performance Analysis on Edge Region Classification)

  • 본 논문에서는 웨이블릿 변환(wavelet transform)을 이용하여 저 비트율로 압축된 영상을 복원했을 때 나타나는 화질열화를 개선하는 방법을 제안한다. DCT의 압축에서 화질열화는 블록화 현상(blocking artiiacts)과 잡음(noise) 등이 있었으나 웨이블릿 변환은 블록화 현상이 나타나지 않고 윤곽선(edge) 부근에 링잉현상(ringing artifacts)이 나타나게 되었다. 제안된 방법에서는 윤곽선 부근의 링잉현상이 나타나는 부분과 나타나지 않는 부분을 분류하고 각 영역에 적응적 필터를 적용하여 영상을 개선시켰다. 인간 시각에 거슬리는 윤곽선 영역은 캐니 마스크(Canny mask)를 적용하여 강한 윤곽선 영역을 찾아내고, 또한 주변 영역을 탐색하여 평탄한 영역(fiat region)과 텍스쳐 영역(texture region)으로 분류하고, 각 영역에 맞는 필터 를 적용하게 된다. 실험결과, 링잉현상이 나타나는 저 비트율 압축 영상에서 제안된 방법의 PSNR 값은 0.05db정도 낮아졌지만, 강한 경계 영역과 평탄한 영역의 영상에서는 0.023db정도 높아겼다. 또한 인간 시각의 주관적 관점에서 볼 때 평탄한 영역에서의 링잉현상이 보다 개선된 화질을 보였다.

골다공증 유무와 골다공증 의사진단여부와의 진단 일치율 융합연구 (Convergence Study on Diagnostic Agreement between Occurrence of Osteoporosis and Doctor's Diagnosis of Osteoporosis)

  • 골다공증 진단 시 대퇴부위와 요추부위에서 골다공증에 대한 진단의 일치율을 파악하여, 측정부위선정과 관련된 오류를 조사하고 올바른 골다공증 진단에 대한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 국민건강영양조사 원시자료 중 제5기 1,2차년도를 사용하여 50세 이상 남성 1,637명, 여자 2,128명을 대상으로 하였다. 요추 및 대퇴부의 골다공증 유무와 골다공증 의사진단여부와의 일치율을 파악하기 위해 kappa test를 사용하였다. 여자는 요추와 대퇴부 모두에서 골다공증 진단의 일치를 보였으며, 요추가 대퇴부보다 진단 일치율이 높았다. 남성은 요추에서만 골다공증 진단의 일치를 보였다. 골밀도는 연령증가에 따라 변화되고 부위에 따라 서로 차이가 있으므로 골밀도 측정시 요추와 대퇴골에서 모두 측정을 해야 하며, 특히 요추를 중심으로 진단을 하는 것이 바람직할 것으로 사료된다.

SH 2-128, AN H II AND STAR FORMING REGION IN AN UNLIKELY PLACE

  • Near-infrared imaging photometry supplemented by optical spectroscopy and narrow-band imaging of the H II region Sh 2-128 and its environment are presented. This region contains a developed H II region and the neighboring compact H II region S 128N associated with a pair of water maser sources. Midway between these, the core of a CO cloud is located. The principal ionizing source of Sh 2-128 is an 07 star close to its center. A new spectroscopic distance of 9.4 kpc is derived, very similar to the kinematic distance to the nebula. This implies a galactocentric distance of 13.5 kpc and z = 550 pc. The region is optically thin with abundances close to those predicted by galactocentric gradients. The $JHK_s$ images show that S 128N contains several infrared point sources and nebular emission knots with large near-infrared excesses. One of the three red Ks knots coincides with the compact H II region. A few of the infrared-excess objects are close to known mid- and far-infrared emission peaks. Star counts in J and $K_s$ show the presence of a small cluster of B-type stars, mainly associated with S 128N. The $JHK_s$ photometric properties together with the characteristics of the other objects in the vicinity suggest that Sh 2-128 and S 128N constitute a single complex formed from the same molecular cloud, with ages ${\~}10^6$ and < $3 {\times} 10^5$ years respectively. No molecular hydrogen emission was detected at 2.12 ${\mu}m$. The origin of this remote star forming region is an open problem.

Object Tracking with Histogram weighted Centroid augmented Siamese Region Proposal Network

  • In this paper, we propose an histogram weighted centroid based Siamese region proposal network for object tracking. The original Siamese region proposal network uses two identical artificial neural networks which take two different images as the inputs and decide whether the same object exist in both input images based on a similarity measure. However, as the Siamese network is pre-trained offline, it experiences many difficulties in the adaptation to various online environments. Therefore, in this paper we propose to incorporate the histogram weighted centroid feature into the Siamese network method to enhance the accuracy of the object tracking. The proposed method uses both the histogram information and the weighted centroid location of the top 10 color regions to decide which of the proposed region should become the next predicted object region.

Regional Comparison of Physiochemical Properties of Codonopsis lanceolata

  • This study was conducted to compare the growth, inorganic components, and proximate components of Codonopsis lanceolata grown in 10 regions of Korea for selecting superior species and breeding by crossing. Among the all tested lines, the shortest plant height (217.12 cm) was observed from the Ulleungdo region line (No. 4) while the longest (273.9 cm) was observed from Hwasun region line (No. 9). In addition, the lines of central and northern region (No. 1~No. 7) tend to have shorter plant height than those of southern region (No. 8~No. 9) except Jejudo region line (No. 10). Flowering tends to be late towards southern region, and lines in central and northern regions were started flowering about 2 weeks earlier than those in southern regions. However, the heaviest root weight was 13.1 g, found in only Jejudo line (No. 10) whereas there was no significant difference found in the other regions which have a range of 8.3~11.0 g. The inorganic components were varied in each line, however, proportion of macroelements, such as K, Ca, and P, was the largest for every line. Especially for Heongseong region line (No. 2), had larger proportion of macroelements than the others. There was a difference of proximate compositions of Codonopsis lanceolata, except the moisture content, among all regions, however, it was generally shown that the content of crude protein (1.31~3.76%) and crude fiber (2.18~3.12%) was the highest.

BCP의 증착 조건에 따른 광학적 특성 및 전도 기구에 미치는 영향 (Influence of the Optical Characteristics and Conductive Mechanism depending on the Deposition Condition of BCP)

  • In a triple-layered structure of ITO/N,N'-diph enyl-N,N'bis(3-methylphenyl)-1,1' - biphenyl-4,4'-diamine(TPD)/tris(8-hydroxyquinoline)aluminum($Alq_3$)/(2,9-Dimethyl-4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline(BCP)/Al device, we have studied the electrical and optical characteristics of organic light-emitting diodes(OLEDs) depending on the deposition condition of BCP layer. Several different sizes of holes on boat and several different deposition rates were employed in evaporating the organic materials. And then, electrical properties of the organic light-emitting diodes were measured and the performance of the devices was analyzed. It was found that the hole-size of crucible boat and the evaporation rate affect on the surface roughness of BCP layer as well as the performance of the device. When the hole-size of crucible boat and the deposition rate of BCP are 1.2 mm and $1.0\;{\AA}/s$, respectively, average surface roughness of BCP layer is lower and the efficiency of the device is higher than the ones made with other conditions. From the analysis of current density-luminance-voltage characteristics of a triple layered device, we divided the conductive mechanism by four region according to applied voltage. So we have obtained a coefficient of ${\beta}_{ST}$ in schottky region is $3.85{\times}10^{-24}$, a coefficient of ${\beta}_{PF}$ in Poole-Frenkel region is $7.35{\times}10^{-24}$, and a potential barrier of ${\phi}_{FN}$ in Fower-Nordheim region is 0.39 eV.
