In reflection of the current trend of times requiring the harmonization of nature, human being and scientific technologies, science museum has become more and more familiar to public and demand on it is also increasing. Information on the culture of science and technology is an engine for exploiting the future, particularly in the industrialized, informationalized and specialized society. Thus the science museum, the function of which is to convey such information, should be planned with the purpose of active and progressive communication. This purpose of planning can be achieved through well established process of the exhibition space production. This study focuses on the importance of the exhibition space production in the design of the science museum and proceeds as follows. 1. The concept of the exhibition space production is established following the review of function and the role of science museum. 2. The methods and the media used in the exhibition space production are suggested and the case study is made. 3. The scenarios for the exhibition space production planning are suggested and the effect and importance of the space production is enlightened. The result of this study shows that the space production increases the effectiveness of the exhibition in the science museum and that space production process should be reflected in planning the project.

If an association for a color develops and comes to form any kind of common idea, a symbolic meaning is given to the color. It is called' symbolism of color' that color builds up an abstract general idea, an emblem, feeling except things concrete. The color of game is the visual element that one can be immersed in the game, the image which act as important meaning, the attribute of light, and visual perceptional factor. With form, motion, light and shade, the color function importantly as media which express a person and person's circumstance. In game, the color is used symbolically to suggest not only mental change of character but also the situation, mood, attribute and strength of energy. These transmission of meaning express symbolism of the color iconically. So, the color for image express of game take on universality. This study research that focus on how the symbolical meaning of the color is reflected in game.

The purpose of this study is to investigate issues in science curriculum reform studies. For the study the papers in ERIC data base were selected on the key words, 'science education', 'curriculum' and 'reform'. The number of papers are the most on the late 90s which has been increasing since the late 70s. During the last decade the 132 papers were identified on 30 May 2003 and the 18 journals which have more than two articles in each journal have 66% of the total papers. The identified reform issues were 'reform themes', 'program introduction', 'critics and vision of reform'. Reform themes are 'teachers', 'scientific literacy', 'integration and teaching', 'reform processes'. The contents on 'teachers' are related to almost teachers' knowledges and beliefs on the reform, those on 'scientific literacy' are related to the loose definitions of scientific literacy, those on 'integration and teaching' are related to difficulties in teaching with integration, those on 'reform processes' are related to power problems between persons or groups who participated in reform processes, and those on 'critics and visions' are related to the embodiment of science education standards and the problems on the nature of science. This study remarks that these issues should be considered sincerely for the reform of science curriculum in the future.

The purpose of the current research is to evaluate the possibility of landslides by using geo-spatial information system. Geological information has been summarized and stability analysis for infinite slopes has been conducted based on the force equilibrium. In addition, the analysis of landslides was performed based on probabilistic approach by using probabilistic variables which can include uncertainty of input parameters. For the purpose of testifing the applicability of the analysis method actual geological data from a construction site was obtained, thereby performing both a preliminary analysis for a large area and detailed analysis for a better result. As a result of the current analysis several issues such as the possibility of development of landslides, detailed analysis of where landslides are most likely to be developed were analysed by using two concepts of safety and index of failure probability.

In the design of an automotive structural component, one of the more important tasks for a design engineer is to determine the life of the component and to ensure that the component will not fail prematurely. In order to accomplish this, a design engineer will first use simple section analysis to come up with a section shape in the concept design stage and use more advanced analysis for stress level. At this stage, the analysis should focus on understanding overall behavior in terms of load paths and gross stress levels. A model that is adequate for a stiffness analysis of the structure will usually provide an adequate level of stress information in the design process. To perform a detailed stress analysis, the structure models must have the detailed local areas such as stress concentrations or force(or displacement) distributions. This paper is to present the design considerations for the stress analysis of automotive structure.

최근 사회구조의 복잡화, 산업구조의 다변화, 기후변화 등에 의해 자연재해 및 산업재해, 도시재난이 급증하고, 그 규모 또한 대형화하고 있다. 이로 인해 에너지, 통신, 교통, 금융 등 공공 인프라의 피해가 급증하면서 작은 재해도 큰 재난으로 변하는 예가 늘어나고 있다. 한편 현대사회에 대한 IT의 관여도가 급속도로 늘어나면서 IT 서비스의 궁극적인 형태이자, 모든 산업을 수용하는 개념의 플랫폼(Platform)이 IT를 넘어서 글로벌 사회의 절대적 지배자로 등장했다. 또한 전 세계 유저들의 관점에서 보면 개개인들이 손에 든 스마트폰이 생활의 모든 분야에 걸쳐 소통, 정보, 쇼핑, 제보, 오락 등 모든 활동의 수단으로 절대적 가치를 창출하고 있다. 이는 스마트폰이 가진 스마트 데이터 생산 및 공유 기능에서 비롯된다. 이처럼 스마트 데이터를 기반으로 한 IT플랫폼이 중요한 위치를 점하지만, 아직 재난관리 분야에서 이를 본격적으로 도입, 활용하지 못하고 있다는 점은 큰 문제이다. 국내의 사정을 보면 다행히 벤처기업들을 중심으로 이 같은 플랫폼 구축 움직임이 시작되었으며, 여기에 활용될 데이터 자원을 창출할 수 있는 솔루션 및 특허기술들 역시 속속 등장하고 있다. 시민들이 재난현장을 스마트폰으로 실시간 공유하면 이 스마트 데이터들이 이미지 및 음향정보, 위치기반(GPS)정보, 시각정보, 3D정보, 빅데이터 정보, 센서정보 등으로 분류되어 플랫폼 안에서 인공지능(AI) 딥러닝 방식에 의해 분석되고, 이를 즉시 재난당국 및 시민들에게 재난긴급문자 등 자동으로 경보로 전해주는 것이 이 플랫폼의 핵심 기능이다. 몇몇 벤처기업이 보유한 특허기술을 기반으로 공공자본이 투입되어 이러한 플랫폼이 구축될 경우 국내 재난관리 수준의 획기적 발전은 물론 전 세계를 시장으로 한 플랫폼 수출 또는 글로벌 재난정보 수집능력에서도 엄청난 힘을 발휘할 것으로 기대된다.

The 1972 United Nations Conference on the Human Environment sparked off actions aimed at protecting the ocean on all scales. Physical science was essentially in the foreground, and the ecological dimension remained in the background as well. During the following two decades, ocean uses increased and spread unexpectedly, and there was an urgent need for management patterns to deal with coastal areas, regional seas, and with the ocean as a whole. Meanwhile, mainly thanks to the Man and the Biosphere (MAB) programme, the ecological dimension of the environmental issue became more evident, while the concept of sustainable development was designed by the World Commission on Environment and Development (1987). As far as the ocean is concerned, by adopting Agenda 21, the 1992 Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) could neither embrace a wholly ecology-oriented policy, nor adopt the concept of sustainable development in its whole extent. This circumstance encourages efforts to consider the ocean from an effective ecological perspective, and to explore how cultural and ecological systems have interacted. Hence the concept of diversity becomes an increasingly key factor.

Comparing to the other subject, the relationship among physics contents is strong from the perspective of knowledge order as grades go up. That is, The things already that students learned, are learning and will learn are closed related from grade to grade. We expect students to be proactive and creative in studying physics, which is the goal of 21th century, analyzing their knowledge structure based on the knowledge order through assessment. Especially, using computer system, we provide students with substantial feedback for the assessment as well as objective validity is increased along with speedy and exact process in a bid to help students' mathematical understanding grow. This paper seeks to analyze the data from assessment applying knowledge spaces of the scientifical gifted in the force and the motion concept to applicate on teaching method.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors of Confucius' resilience and the source of his strength through which he overcame and accepted numerous adversities and took a leap from the perspective of modern positive psychology. This study reexamines Confucius' life as a human being, accepting his mental and physical limitations despite numerous trials, overcoming his misfortune, conveying the morals and values that people must protect, and presenting the positive character of being able to practice the truth among people through today's positive psychology. It was compared with the core concepts presented in. References were made to materials and literature related to Confucius. Through research, Confucius's greatest strengths were proven to be human relationships living together in love and consideration, with Confucius's core ideology, benevolence and loyalty.

The purpose of this study is to examine the life of single aged women receiving minimum living expenses. In order to accomplish desired result, I focus on social exclusion and Resisting women agent. So it provides them practical implication. This study approach life history study of qualitative study. Date were collected from four single aged women. Raw date were analyzed by Mendelbaum analysis frame offering dimension, turnings and adaptation. In research findings, their life was 'Begining of wandering' in childhood and then 'Floating life' since their marriage. After breaking up their husbands, They intend to do 'Existential life'. According to these results, I suggest the necessity of strengthening their own ability and taking the life of human nature.
