This paper estimates the employment and wage effects of the duration of leave of absence for job preparation activities and the duration of leave of absence due to economic difficulties by using the first wave of the Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey of 2009 (2009GOMS1). The employment probability and wage increase by 1.6 percentage points and 4.0 percentage, respectively, with a month of the duration of leave for job preparation activities. The employment probability and wage decrease by 3.6 percentage points and 7.2 percentage, respectively, with a month of the duration of leave due to economic difficulties.

In this paper, we configured the panel data of four years using the information of Higher Education In Korea (2010~2013) and studied the influence of tuition and scholarships on the stop-out rate of national university and private university separately through a panel analysis. Three models are implemented considering various variables suck as faculty-student ratios, employment rate, per pupil expenditure, average tuition, and per pupil scholarship. This study showed that the lower net tuition and the higher per pupil off-campus scholarship lowered the stop-out rate at national universities and the lower tuition and the higher per pupil scholarship lowered the stop-out rate at private universities.

청년실업이 심각한 사회문제로 대두됨에 따라 취업준비 등을 이유로 대학졸업을 미루고 있다는 지적이다. 4년제 대학의 휴학생 비율은 IMF 이전인 96년의 25%에 비해 2005년에는 무려 7%나 상승한 32%에 이르고 있다. 전문대학의 경우는 좀 더 심각하여 28%에서 37.9%로 상승해 무려 10% 가까이 상승했다고 한다. 휴학생의 비율은 청년실업문제의 심각성을 반영하다는 측면에서 간과해서는 안 될 문제이다. 여기에서 청년실업의 원인과 졸업 유예문제 및 대응방안에 대해 좀 더 깊이 살펴보기로 하자.

The subjects of this study are three visually-impaired undergraduates currently considering if they should take a leave of absence after finishing the first year in S University located in Busan City. From March to July, 2018, this researcher explored the meaning of their university entrance and the essential meaning and structure of their school life experiences by using Giorgi's phenomenological methodology. According to the results, this author drew 32 meaningful statements and also 10 main themes, "the excitement of campus life and the name of being an undergraduate", "parents' suggestion", "something other than being a massager", "Is it a place that anyone can enter? Or, is it a special place?", "loneliness within the public", "Everything is an obstacle.", "It's not giving up, but still I am in a vague moment.", "the beginning of another conflict", and "studying in a university is not for the present but for the future". They were categorized into being a university student and the meaning of it (category1), adaptation to university life and reality (category 2), and one year after the entrance: the meaning of being a university student (category 3). Based on the above results, this author intends to provide foundational material about what universities can do for visually-impaired students to adapt to university life in the initial steps properly.

For a systematic analysis of the characteristics according to the counseling type, this study was about what type of counseling is the largest number of cases that three researchers participated. The main types of counseling for paid/leaved students were identified, and the characteristics of counseling types by admission type were analyzed. A total of 185 counseling cases conducted in 2018 and 2019 were analyzed by technical statistics and analysis by seven types of counseling(emotional and personality, academic motivation, learning method/strategy, family relationship, career and major choice, self-growth motivation) and analyzed to confirm the counseling needs for each student characteristic(entrance type, grade, gender, and academic changes(paid, leave of absence experience)) according to the characteristics of the students. Through this study, it was confirmed that the number of counseling was the highest in the order of "learning methods and strategies," "emotion and personality," and "self-growth motivation," and in particular, it was confirmed that the counseling rate of freshman and sophomore students was high. Most of the students who experienced paid/leave of absence were counseling on "emotional and personality" and "learning methods/ strategies." Through this study, academic-related programs are required for freshman and sophomore students, and the necessity of improving and establishing a counseling system was confirmed in consideration of the characteristics of each type of student counseling. In addition, this study proposed the necessity of institutional support such as the group mentoring system for students with academic fluctuations.

취임 3개월째 맞는 이재용 환경부장관은 주위의 우려와는 달리 환경정책의 수장직을 무난히 잘 수행하고 있다는 평을 받고 있다. 그는 화려한 경력이 말해주듯 소탈하고 매우 친화력이 있는 성격의 소유자이다. 그는 대학시절 민주화의 열망을 안고 휴학과 복학을 거듭하면서 이 땅의 민주화를 이룩하는데 일조를 했다. 훤칠한 키와 출중한 외모는 모델을 능가할 정도로 뛰어나다. 실제로 그는 극단을 창단하여 무대에도 여러번 선 경험이 있다. 또 그는 일찌감치 환경운동가의 길을 걸어 왔기에 현재의 환경정책을 수행하는데 큰 도움이 된다고 말했다. 본지는 지난달 13일 환경부 장관실에서 연합회 임원 간담회와 함께 인터뷰를 가졌다. 다음은 이 장관과의 인터뷰 내용이다.

In this study, we wanted to analyze the factors at the national university level that affect college students ' elimination. In addition, national universities, private universities, universities in Seoul and universities outside of Seoul were divided into more college-specific characteristics. Except for leave of absence and departure from school, it was defined as a middle school dropout among changes of students. The data were used for analysis by receiving raw data from "University Alerts," which are operated by the Ministry of Education and the Korean Council for Educational Universities. At the university notification, 222 universities out of the schools classified as "Universities" were utilized for final analysis, and jobs, credits, scholarships, tuition fees, students, independent students, and full-time teachers were secured through multiple education. Overall, the higher the average graduate level and employee-rate the lower the rate of elimination from the middle of college students, the analysis showed. Second, the higher the average tuition fees at private universities, the more negatively affects the rate of elimination of university students. Third, higher tuition fees at universities outside the Seoul metropolitan area have a negative impact on the rate of elimination of students.

The purpose of this study was to understand socio-demographic factors related to older adults' participation patterns in lifelong education. For the purpose, this study used the raw data of 2017 Survey of the Living Conditions of the Elderly (SLCE) conducted by The Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs. From the data of 10,073 older adults, their lifelong education participation, participating program types, participating organizations, and participating frequency were analyzed by their sex, age, educational level, household income, the longest job status, and health status. This study found that female, age of 70-74 and 75-79, educational levels of high school and higher, the longest job status of regular employees and unpaid family workers, and decent health status of older adults more participated in lifelong education. According to lifelong education program types, significant differences were found between education groups of middle school/lower and groups of high school/higher and between 1, 2 quintile income groups and 3, 4, 5 quintile income groups. In relation to the participating organizations, groups of 70 years and older, middle school and higher education level, under 3 quintile income, and poor health tended to participate in lifelong education at the elderly welfare center, senior citizens, and elderly classrooms. In terms of participation frequency, high school and college/higher than 0 year of school education, and regular workers than unpaid family workers were more frequently participated in lifelong education. This study showed the inequality in lifelong education participation according to older adults' demographic characteristics; finally, this study suggested necessary policies and academic discussions for future older adults' lifelong education.

Drop-out issue is one of the challenges of cyber university. There are about 130,000 students enrolled in cyber universities, but the dropout rate is also very high. To lower the dropout rate, cyber universities invest heavily in learning analytics. Some cyber universities analyze the possibility of dropout and actively support students who are more likely to drop out. The purpose of this paper is to identify the learning data affecting the dropout prediction index. As a result of the analysis, it is confirmed that number of lessons(progress), credits, achievement and leave of absence have a significant effect on dropout rate. It is necessary to increase the accuracy of the prediction model through post-test on the student dropout prediction index.

Entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship courses, including my recent absence undergraduate entrepreneurship-friendly system is activated, the spread of technology startups to be scanning my college. However, the college is successful technology startups to take place in order to be solved many problems still exist. In this paper, we have a hard job and continuing high unemployment and social environment college students majoring in IT technology to enable the establishment of the control action for the establishment and analysis of influencing factors. In particular, IT college students majoring in technology startups will affect students' technical skills and characteristics of entrepreneurs and Entrepreneur's motive, entrepreneurship environment outside the extraction and evaluation items such as IT skills to analyze the impact of entrepreneurship. In analysis result, IT major career college students interested in entrepreneurship as an alternative to the higher technology, technical skills and characteristics of entrepreneurs and start-motivated alternative to independence and had an impact on employment. In addition, the university was founded in tech startups according to the environment of entrepreneurship education has a lot of outside influence.
