Role of Self-efficiency in the Career Activities of Marriage Immigrant Women (결혼이주여성의 진로활동에서 자기효능감의 역할)

  • This study explores role of self-efficiency in the career activities of marriage immigrant women. It is expected that self-efficiency would contribute to marriage immigrant women helping them to overcome the difficulties of their lives spontaneously and keep on their careers. For this, it was conducted that in-depth interview with seven marriage immigrant women. Conclusion was classified into two parts as following. The conclusion is from whether marriage immigrant woman has self-efficiency in her career purpose and career barrier. First, in the conclusion of career purpose, higher self-efficiency leads to constant career fulfillment and positive self image and lower self efficiency gives rise to absence of neighboring subgoal and discontinuity or lagging of personal career. Second, in the conclusion of career barrier, higher self-efficiency person would consider career barrier as an object to get over. On the contrary, lower self-efficiency person could not find the proper strategies to deal with career barrier and conform to the barrier and give up the career.

Coping Self-Efficacy and Outcome Expectancy as Mediators of the Relation Between Perceived Contextual Support and Career Indecision Among Engineering Students: Focusing on Gender Differences (공과대학 학생들이 지각한 맥락적 지지와 진로미결정의 관계에서 대처효능감과 결과기대의 매개효과: 남녀 차이를 중심으로)

  • This study examined a model in which the relation between perceived contextual support and career indecision was expected to be mediated by coping self-efficacy and outcome expectancy for a sample of engineering students (N = 672). Structural equation analyses revealed that the link between contextual support and career indecision was fully mediated by coping self-efficacy and outcome expectancy. Statistically significant paths were found from contextual support to coping self-efficacy and outcome expectancy. Statistically significant paths were also found from self-efficacy and outcome expectancy to career indecision. In addition, there were significant gender differences in the mean scores of the variables and model fits. Implications for research and practice are discussed.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 노인의 정보화기기 활용 능력이 사회자본 형성에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 이러한 관계에서 노인의 디지털기기 이용 효능감이 갖는 매개효과를 검증하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 2022년 실시한 디지털정보격차 실태조사 자료를 활용하여 SPSS 25.0 통계프로그램으로 개인의 인구사회학적특성, 정보화기기 중 PC, 모바일 기기 활용능력, 디지털기기 이용 효능감을 독립변수로 하고 노인의 사회자본을 종속변수로 하여 영향 관계를 분석하였다. 또한, 디지털기기 이용 효능감을 매개변수로 설정하여 노인의 정보화기기 활용 능력이 사회자본 형성에 미치는 영향에 매개효과가 있는지 검증하였다. 그 결과, 노인의 사회자본 형성에 미치는 영향 요인은 남성보다 여성의 사회자본 수준이 높았고, 나이가 많은 사람, 월평균 소득이 높은 사람, 다른 가족과 함께 거주하는 노인의 사회자본 수준이 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 독립변수인 PC활용능력은 통계적으로 유의미한 영향이 없었고, 모바일기기 활용 능력과 디지털기기 이용 효능감이 높을수록 사회자본이 증가하는 것으로 분석되었다. 이후 노인의 정보화기기 활용 능력이 사회자본에 미치는 영향을 디지털기기 이용 효능감이 매개하는지 분석하기 위해 Baron과 Kenny(1986)의 3단계 모형으로 분석한 결과, pc활용능력 → 디지털기기 이용 효능감 → 사회자본에 이르는 경로와 모바일기기 활용능력 → 디지털기기 이용 효능감 → 사회자본에 이르는 매개효과 경로는 통계적으로 유의미한 결과로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 노인의 정보화기기의 접근성 향상을 위한 교육기관의 노력과 단순한 컨텐츠 위주의 교육에서 보다 실용적이고 즉시적인 교육 콘텐츠 전환 등 실천적 노력에 대해 제언하였다.

Analysis of Preservice Elementary Mathematics Teachers' Efficacy on Mathematics Teaching (초등학교 예비 수학교사들의 수학 교수 효능감 실태 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is for investing and analysing preservice elementary mathematics teachers' efficacy on teaching mathematics. It was measured by Kang & Kim(2014)'s instrument; MTEI (Mathematics Teaching Efficacy Instrument). The survey was conducted on a sample of 164 participants who are the 2 or 4 grade in 3 universities of education. The findings of this study are that mathematics teaching efficacy of preservice elementary mathematics teachers in South Korea is 61 percent based on 100 percent. There was no significant difference between women teachers and men teachers, department of natural science and art & humanity when highschool, 2 grade and 4 grade. But, there was the significant difference between big city and province. The social-cultural factor point was much lower than any other factors' point.

The Effect of Tea Culture Therapy Program for the Improvement of Self-Efficacy of Juvenile Probationers (보호관찰 청소년의 자기효능감 향상을 위한 차문화치료 프로그램의 효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a tea culture therapy program development for the improvement of self-efficacy of juvenile probationers, which is a key factor of social adaptability of juvenile probationers. After developing a tea culture therapy program, this study examines the effect of the program empirically, by applying to juvenile probationers. For this purpose, this study employs an integrative approach of qualitative and quantitative methods. It is shown from the qualitative analysis that juvenile probationers' positive attitude and active participation are considerably progressed. The results from quantitative analysis indicate that the sub-dimensions of self-efficacy such as general self-efficacy and social self-efficacy are significantly improved.

  • This study aimed to investigate the mediating effect of caring empowerment in the relationship between caring burden and life design. To get the results, a survey was conducted, targeting caregivers of disabled children and caring burden, caring empowerment, life design measures were used in the survey. Key outcomes of the analysis were as follows. First, it was verified that caring burden and caring empowerment, caring empowerment and life design had a direct relationship. Second, it was analyzed that caring empowerment had a full mediating effect in the relationship between caring burden and caring empowerment. Based in these results, comprehensive interventions for activating life design were proposed.

Effects of reflective journal writing to mathematics self-efficacy in reciprocal peer tutoring (상호또래교수에서의 반성적 저널쓰기 활동이 수학자기효능감에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examines the effects of reflective journal writing on the mathematics self-efficacy in reciprocal peer tutoring. Participants were 38 high school students in Gyeonggi province who attended at a summer intensive mathematics course for 4 weeks. This study used a mixed method. SPSS 21.0 program was used to analyze the quantitative data, and the interviews, observational journals and reflective journals of 6 students were used to analyze qualitative data. According to the results, all the subcategories of mathematics self-efficacy, - mathematics problem-efficacy, mathematics success-efficacy, mathematics learning-efficacy, and mathematics subject-efficacy - improved except mathematics occupation-efficacy. In case of mathematics success-efficacy and mathematics problem-efficacy, students revealed the greatest improvement. In conclusion, reflective journal writing in reciprocal peer tutoring could be suggested as a treatment program to improve students' mathematics self-efficacy.

시니어의 노후준비도와 창업교육 만족도가 자기효능감 및 창업기회인식에 미치는 영향 연구

  • 국내 베이비붐 세대 은퇴가 본격화하며 국내 시니어들의 은퇴후 평생직업 대안에 대한 수요가 폭증하며 창업이 그 대안으로 부상하였지만 주로 자영업창업 중심이어서 효과적인 대안이 되지못하고 있는 현실이다. 본 논문은 시니어들이 노후 대책으로 재대로 된 창업을 준비하도록 창업교육을 통한 만족도 제고를 통해 창업기회를 인식하는 방안을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 시니어의 노후준비도와 창업교육만족도가 자기효능감과 창업기회인식에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증 연구로서 각 변인에 대한 관계를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 첫째, 시니어의 노후준비도가 자기효능감과 창업기회인식에 미치는 영향관계와 둘째, 창업교육만족도가 시니어의 자기효능감과 창업기회인식에 미치는 영향을 연구한다. 가설검증 결과로 첫째, 시니어의 노후준비도는 하위 변위에 따라 차이는 있을 수 있으나 시니어의 자기효능감과 창업기회인식에 영향을 미치는 것으로 예상된다. 둘째, 시니어의 창업교육만족도가 자기효능감에는 영향을 미치나 셋째, 시니어의 창업교육만족도가 창업기회인식에는 영향을 미치지 안는 것으로 예상된다. 본 논문은 시니어 창업에 영향을 주는 요인 중 하나로 노후준비도를 살펴봄으로써 시니어가 가진 노후준비 특성이 창업기회인식에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 검정했다는 점에서 의미가 있다. 또한 시니어의 창업 활성화 및 노동력 활용 방안으로 창업교육의 확대 필요성과 시니어 창업 교육 프로그램의 확대 등 창업을 준비할 수 있는 사회 분위기와 제도적 지원 및 프로그램 설계 필요성을 시사한다.

Relationship of dietary self-efficacy and illness beliefs, perceived benefits and perceived barriers for the reduction of sodium intake in the elderly (노인에서 나트륨 섭취 감량을 위한 식이 자아효능감과 질병에 대한 신념, 식행동의 이점 인지, 장애 인지 간의 관련성)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship of dietary self-efficacy and illness beliefs, perceived benefits, and perceived barriers for the reduction of sodium intake in the elderly. A cross-sectional study was performed on 252 elderly people, aged 65 yrs and above, living in Daejeon Metropolitan city and Jecheon city, Chungbuk from March 21 to March 30, 2011. Dietary self-efficacy of three factors (resisting relapse, reducing salt and behavioral skills), perceived benefits and barriers, accurate and inaccurate illness beliefs were measured by 5 or 4 point Likert scale. With the increasing education level of the elderly, dietary self-efficacy, and accurate illness belief score increased and perceived barrier score decreased. Perceived benefits score was higher in the subject living alone compared to those living with siblings or spouses. Among three factors of dietary self-efficacy, reducing salt was scored highest and behavioral skills scored lowest in the elderly. Recording meal diary and reading labels for salt content in the items of behavioral skills showed lower score than other items. Accurate illness beliefs and perceived benefits were more scored than inaccurate illness beliefs and perceived barriers respectively in the subjects. The subjects with higher accurate illness beliefs, lower inaccurate illness beliefs, higher perceived benefits, and lower perceived barriers for the reduction of sodium intake showed higher dietary self-efficacy. In summary, accurate illness beliefs and perceived benefits positively correlated with dietary self-efficacy for the reduction of sodium intake in the elderly, whereas inaccurate illness beliefs and perceived barriers are negatively correlated.

Relationship of Nutritional Knowledge, Dietary Self Efficacy and Change of Dietary Behavior of Nutrition Professional (영양전공자의 영양지식, 식이 효능감, 식행동 변화간의 관련성)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship of nutritional knowledge, dietary self-efficacy and dietary behavior of nutritionist. Total 190 dieticians of middle and high schools in Daejeon metropolitan city(44.2%) and Chungnam area(55.8%) were surveyed by questionnaires. The change of dietary intakes was used as an index of dietary behavioral change, and dietary self-efficacy are categorized into 4 sub groups of general dietary habit, choice of food, environmental stimulus and emotional conditions. Overall nutritionl knowledge of school dieticians was relatively high as 80.3 score, but specific and detail knowledge about food and nutrition yet have to be strengthened. Dietary self-efficacy of 'choice of food' was the highest with 85.4 and self-efficacy of 'environmental stimulus' was the lowest with 69.7 in the subjects. There was no influence between nutrition knowledge and dietary self-efficacy of school dieticians. According to the level of dietary self-efficacy, the intake of desirable food showed no significant difference, but the intake of undesirable foods decreased as dietary self-efficacy increased(p<0.001). In the analysis of correlation of change in intake of desirable and undesirable foods with nutrition knowledge and 4 different variables of dietary self-efficacy, a nutrition knowledge variable did not show any correlation with other variables. While, total dietary self-efficacy or each 4 sub items showed negative correlation with the intake of undesirable foods. And all 4 sub items of dietary self-efficacy could be the principal factors to constrain the intake of undesirable foods, but 2 items of dietary habits and emotional condition of 4 sub items are the factors to increase the intake of desirable food. Accordingly, it is suggested that dietary self-efficacy could be a powerful factor to induce the behavioral change of professional dieticians.
