  • 선형전동기는 일반적으로 회전형 전동기를 잘라 평면에 펼친 다음 회전형 전동기와 같이 구동할 경우 직선운동을 하는 전동기이다. 회전형 전동기에 비해서 효율특성을 다소 떨어지지만 직선운동을 위한 전동기가 필요할 경우에는 많이 사용하고 있는 실정이며 회전형의 경우 고정자와 회전자의 극간격을 유지하기 위해서 축을 중심으로 구동할 수 있게 제작하고 있는 실정이다. 그러나 선형전동기의 경우 정확한 극간경의 유지를 위해서 LM guide를 사용하는 것이 일반적이며 이로 인해서 고정자회 이동자 사이의 정확한 간격을 유지할 수 있게 된다. 또한 자속의 흐름과 이동자의 이동방향에 따라 일반적으로 선형전동기를 구분하는데 자속의 흐름으로 인해 만들어지는 평면과 이동자가 움직이는 방향이 같은 면 상에 있으면 종자속이라고 하고 횡방향으로 놓여질 경우 횡자속 선형전동기라고 부른다. 본 연구에서는 횡자속 선형전동기에서 발생되는 추력특성을 고려하여 선형액추에이터를 설계할 경우 발생되는 추력읜 불균일성에 대한 내용으로 전동기의 추력 특성 파형에 따른 성형 액추에이터의 동특성을 알아보았다. 특히 액추에이터에서 발생되는 공진특성을 기준으로 불때 같은 에너지로 약 2배의 동특성을 얻을 수 있었고 반력은 거의 같은 특성을 얻을 수 있었다.

Analysis of Random Ship Rolling Using Partial Stochastic Linearization (통계적 부분선형화 방법을 이용한 선체의 불규칙 횡동요 운동의 해석)

  • In order to analyze the rolling motion of a ship in random beam waves we use the partial stochastic linearization method. The quadratic damping and the nonlinear restoring moments given by the odd polynomials up to the 11th order are added to a single degree of freedom linear equation of roll motion. The irregular excitation moment is assumed to be the Gaussian white noise. The statistical characteristics of the response by the partial stochastic linearization method is compared with results by the equivalent linearization method and Monte Carlo simulation. It is fecund that the partial stochastic linearization method is not necessarily superior to the equivalent linearization method.

  • 내항성이 우수한 선형을 개발하기 위해서는 초기설계단계에서 이미 그 배의 해상에서의 거동을 예측할 수 있어야만 한다. 이 보고서에서는 임의의 입사각을 갖는 규칙파중을 항주하는 선박이 겪게 되는 동요중에서 횡동요, 수평동요 그리고 선수동요의 연성운동방정식의 해를 Tassi-Takaki가 수정한 스트립이론을 적용하여 해석하였다. 제15차 ITTC의 내항성 위원회의 보고서에서 발표된 콘테이너선형에 대한 결과와 똑같이 선형에 대해 본 프로그램을 사용하여 계산한 수평동요, 횡동요 그리고 선수동요의 운동응답을 비교하여 보았으며, 상당히 만족스러운 결과를 얻었다.

  • The roll response of ships to the narrow band random exciting moment is investigated based on the multiple time scale technique. The results are compared with those calculated from statistical equivalent linearization method. The calculation results have shown that the results calculated from multiple time scale technique eve wider range of multiple values. Numerical simulations of rolling motion of ship are performed to confirm the results.

Study on the Prediction of Lateral and Yawing Behaviors of a Leading Vehicle in a Train Collision (철도차량 충돌 시 선두차량의 횡 및 요잉 거동 예측 연구)

  • In this study, we derived theoretical equations for the zigzag movement of a leading vehicle, which is the most frequent behavior in train accidents, by using a simplified spring-mass model for the rolling stock. In order to solve the equations of motion, we applied the Runge-Kutta method, which is the typical numerical analysis method used for differential equations. Furthermore, the lateral displacement of the wheel-set at the wheel-rail interface was estimated using kinetic energy. In order to verify the derived equations, we compared the theoretical and simulated results under various collision conditions. The maximum relative deviations of the lateral displacements were 0.8 [%] ~ 4.7 [%] in light collisions and 0.6 [%] ~ 5.1 [%] under derailment conditions. When an accident is simulated, these theoretical equations can be used to predict the overall behavior and obtain the offset of the body-to-body link as the initial perturbation.

Flow Characteristics and Transverse Bed Slope in Curved Alluvial Channels (만곡 수로의 횡방향 하상경사와 흐름특성)

  • This study is for simulating to the model which analyzes flow characteristics and transverse bed slopes in a coarse-streambed of the meandering alluvial channels. Using the equations for conservation of mass, momentum, and for lateral stability of the streambed, a linear differential equation of transverse bed slope is derived from the flow characteristics in curved channels. Its solutions are solved by the Sine-generated curve method(SCM) and compared with results of field measurements. Lag distances by the maximum transverse bed slope and velocity profiles will predict risk sections of concave bank under floods.

Limit Velocity for Lateral Stable Bed in Natural Curved Channels (자연하천 만곡부의 횡방향 안정하상을 위한 한계속도)

  • In this study, an equation is proposed to estimate the limit velocity for lateral stable bed in a curved channel stream. The stable bed on lateral direction is satisfied when there is no more deformation occurs on the transverse bed slope and non-scouring condition in a bend. A theoretical equation for limit velocity is derived using a transverse bed slope model. So, the limit velocity has its theoretical background in the equilibrium of two forces, lateral shear force at the bed due to longitudinal flow and the corresponding lateral bed shear force. To verify the equation, data from four natural river channels were used. There is good agreement between the calculated values using this equation and the measured values. The corrections in equation was found to be correlated with the averaged particle Froude number.

Lateral Damper of Subway Vehicle for Preventing Abnormal Impact (지하철 전동차 비정상 충격 방지를 위한 횡댐퍼에 관한 연구)

  • In a subway vehicle, a lateral damper is used for compensating the lateral stiffness deterioration due to the air-spring as a secondary suspension. This lateral damper can reduce the lateral vibration of the carbody. When the damping force of the lateral damper is lowered, the running stability and ride quality of the subway vehicles worsens and the lateral motion of the carbody is increased. In this study, the lateral displacement variation of the carbody according to the damping force of the lateral damper was analyzed by multi-body dynamics to solve the abnormal impact problem during vehicle operation. Furthermore, the noise and vibration due to abnormal impact were considered. An adequate damping coefficient of the lateral damper for the subway vehicle treated in this paper was suggested for preventing abnormal impact.

Runoff Analysis due to the Moving Storm (이동강우에 의한 유출영향분석)

  • Using the simple geometry for the idealized catchment consisting of two plane surfaces and a stream between them, runoff was analysed for the moving storms based on the kinematic wave equation. The storm velocity applied in this study was 0.25∼2.0 m/s moving up, down and cross direction of catchment. Applied rainfall distribution types are uniform, advanced, delayed, intermediate type. The results indicate that the moving storms of cross direction generate the largest peak runoff, and the smallest runoff appears in the case of up stream direction. The sensitivity of runoff to rainfall distribution types decreases as storm velocity increases. It is clear that faster storm velocity generates faster peak time and becomes thin hydrographs rapidly.

  • 부유체의 횡동요는 부유체의 안정성을 헤칠 뿐 아니라 승조원의 피로를 누적시키고, 기자재의 안정적인 운용과 수명에도 영향을 미친다. 본 연구에서는 점성감쇠 안티롤링진자를 이용하여 부유체의 횡동요를 줄이는 방법을 제안하고, 안티롤링진자의 효용성을 보인다. 약 1m, 7.7kg의 모형선에 32g, 40g, 50g의 안티롤링진자를 탑재하여 16%~23.5%의 롤링 저감 효과를 얻을 수 있었다.
