변풍량 공조 시스템의 제어

  • 1970년대부터 사용된 변풍량 공조 시스템 (Variable Air Volume System)은 실내 부하 변동에 따라 급기 온도를 일정하게 유지시키고 실별, 존별 송풍량을 변화시켜 실온을 제어하는 방식으로, 에너지 절약, 개별 제어 등의 장점 때문에 적용이 확대되었고 특히 단일덕트 변풍량 공조 시스템은 이러한 이유 때문에 많은 건물에 적용되고 있다. 그러나 현 제어시스댐의 풍량 측정의 문제점과 공조기내에서 풍량변화 및 급/배기 댐퍼의 개도 변경으로 인한 환기 댐퍼의 비선형 특성을 고려하지 않고 제어하기 때문에 외기량 확보를 정확히 유지 못하는 실정이다. 따라서 단일덕트 변풍량 시스템의 환기댐퍼 및 급기, 환기 팬의 제어 방식의 종류와 특성 및 문제점에 대하여 설명하고자 한다.

  • 현재 정부는 사회간접자본 확충을 통한 물류비용의 절감이라는 궁극적 목표를 위하여 도로터널의 확충 노력을 적극 경주하고 있으며 터널의 규모 또한 급격히 장대화 하고 있다. 또한 환경 및 안전 측면에서의 규제 강화로 인하여 터널환기 시스템이 점점 복잡해져 가고 있는 추세이다. 환기관련 주요 설비는 제트팬, 축류팬, 집진기, 수갱 등으로 대형화 및 자동화에 따라 운영비용 역시 급격히 증가하고 있으며 운영비용 중의 대부분은 현재 일반전기로 분류되어 있는 환기설비에 소요되는 전력비로, 장대터널의 경우 km 당 1 MW를 훨씬 초과하는 경우도 많아 SOC(사회간접자본)사업으로 추진되는 도로터널의 건설 및 운영상의 문제점으로 지적되고 있다.   • 국내의 축사는 윈치커튼의 위치를 조절하여 줌으로써 내부의 기류를 교환하는 개방형 축사가 대부분을 차지하고 있다. 개방형 축사의 환기는 외기풍속의 영향에의해 내부 기류의 흐름이 형성되어 바람이 없는 고온기에는 내부의 기류혼합이 잘 되지 않기 때문에 고온으로 인한 내부의 환경이 열악하다. 따라서 자연환기 축사에 배기팬 또는 입기팬을 설치하는 조합형 환기 축사가 주를 이를 것으로 판단된다. (중략)

Greenhouse Cooling Using Air Duct and Integrated Fan and Pad System (일체형 팬 앤 패드 시스템과 에어 덕트를 이용한 온실 냉방)

  • The fan and pad evaporative cooling system is one of the main cooling methods in greenhouses. Its efficiency is very high, but it has some disadvantages as temperature gradient in greenhouse is large. This study was conducted to reduce the internal temperature gradients in the fan and pad cooling greenhouses. Experiments on cooling performance were carried out in a greenhouse equipped with air duct and integrated fan and pad system as an idea of this study. It showed that the cooling efficiency of an integrated fan and pad system was 75.7% in the first stage and 88.6% in the second stage. When this cooling system was operated for an unshaded and a shaded greenhouse, there were cooling effects of $5.7\sim7.6^{\circ}C$ and $7.4\sim9.7^{\circ}C$ to the control greenhouse, respectively. Maximum temperature differences in a cooling greenhouse, with a length of 18m, were $1.6\sim1.7^{\circ}C$ for shaded conditions and $2.3\sim2.7^{\circ}C$ for unshaded conditions. This greenhouse cooling method, with air duct and integrated fan and pad system, can reduce about 40~50% of the internal temperature gradients in the usual fan and pad cooling greenhouses.

  • This research was conducted for the optimal design of large commercial gas oven system. Equivalent ratio was determined through a numerical analysis and experiments on the combustion condition of the combustor. After reviewing the supply capacity of burner(20,000 kcal) and control method of convection fan, two types of heat exchangers designed. In order to maintain a uniform temperature inside the oven is required convection fan braking system. The center temperature in the oven rises more rapidly when the convectional fan is rotated in the counterclockwise direction than the counter-clockwise direction. And The efficiency of the system by installing a large heat transfer area was higher.

  • There have been experiments dealing with the possibility of the actualization of the ANC system by means of operating the DSP adaptation filter. This filter is composed of various filters(including X-LMS algorithm, Filter-U algorithm, and Full-Feedback-Filter-U algorithm) that use ventilation fans and loudspeakers as a primary source in a circular duct as an experimental device. In this operation, the ANC system using the X - LMS algorithm was found to be more effective in reducing noise than without such system. When applying the input signal of the DSP board Full Feedback-Filtered-U algorithm system while having in mind that the additionally installed second control signal was gone through feedback and mixed into the detection microphone installed near the ventilation fan when using the first ventilation fan, the system was not emitted, but maintained stable during the operation of the control filter. At this point, noise tended to decrease at a maximum of l0dB compared to other algorithms at the frequency band of 170-250Hz.

  • The purpose of this study was to comparative analyses of energy performance in apartment houses adopted window frame-type natural ventilation, under-floor air distribution ventilation and heat recovery ventilation. As the object of energy simulation, the three type ventilation system with area of $84m^2$ was selected in apartment house. As a result, when the ECO2 simulation was performed, the 1st requirement quantity per annual were $159.9kWh/m^2yr$(CASE1, Natural Ventilation), $179.7kWh/m^2yr$(CASE2, Under-floor Air Distribution Ventilation) and $161.0kWh/m^2yr$(CASE3, Heat Recovery Ventilation).

  • This study was carried out for the purpose of safety evaluation about the ventilation system (according to the structure of confined room, the position and size of vent window, the amount of blowing air, e.t.c.), which is equipped in one of KOGAS underground valve stations. Particularly, the effect of the fans placed in the upper region was focused in detail. Numerical simulation was conducted in order to predict the features of flow pattern and the diffusion of natural gas concentration. This work examined the ventilation system and resulted in proposing an optimal design of ventilation system.

  • Although the number of medium-length road tunnels, less than 1 km in length, has increased recently more than 30 percent each year, their ventilation and fire safety system design guidelines have not been established yet. The guidelines for long tunnel design are adopted even for the medium-length road tunnels. Therefore the necessity is brought up to optimize the ventilation and fire safety systems based on their own design guidelines. This study aims at determining the optimal start time of jet fan in case of 20 MW fires by analyzing smoke backlayering range, temperature distribution, range of poor visibility, evacuation time and critical velocity. The CFD study results are expected to contribute to propose the optimal fan operation mode.
