  • The purpose of this study was to investigate differences in regions and social environmental factors for centenarians between two countries. The sample sizes for this paper were a total number of centenarians in the two countries. Centenarians from different regions were examined in conjunction with the social environmental factors of the longevity approach. Statistical analysis was done using the Pearson's coefficient of correlation and regression equations. It became evident that centenarians among two countries lived in regions with lower income levels, lower tobacco consumption, lower levels of air pollution, onion and barley productions, fewer motor vehicles, a lower divorce rate, lower unemployment, soybean and garlic productions, and less water pollution. The finding imply that centenarians among two countries lead to a life of longevity is the result not only social environmental factors reactions that have fresh air, clean water and health food but also of health behaviors that have bacco consumption and divorce rate. Also, these support future studies of improvement of social environmental pollution, agricultural products of health food, and health behaviors of nonsmoking for life of longevity.

  • Such factors as living space, living environments, etc. are considered to have influence on housing satisfaction. Recently, increased residents' participation and residents' conflict in apartment management emerge as the important factors to influence it. They are more important in a social-mix housing complex of sales apartment and rental apartment, which is provided as a part of social mix. Therefore, a study hypothesis is established with a study model based on the precedent studies. The results from investigation the hypothesis are; First, the factor of living environment has meaningful influence on the factors of residents' participation and conflict. Second, residents' participation and conflict significantly affect housing satisfaction. Third, the factor of residents' participation shows a full mediated effect, and the factor of residents' conflict, a partial mediated effect. This study has a meaning as an exploratory one to identify a variable of residents' participation and conflict in social-mix apartment complex, and to verify their influence on houisng satisfaction empirically.

  • This paper is to analyze the impact of changes n academic library management environment on information services. For this purpose. based on literature reviews. various factors affecting information services due to changes in management environment such as human resources, information resources, facilities, budget and information technologies are investigated. Also, in order to substantiate this work, librarians in diverse university libraries were surveyed. According to our survey results, The conclusion is as follows. That is, the most to least affecting factors on information services in university libranes are human resources, information technologies and facilities, respectively.

  • The study examines the effects of local environmental factors on stress among young and senior single-person households. We analyzed the '2019 Community Health Survey' by employing logistic regression analysis. The empirical results are as follows: First, there are greater differences in stress factors between young single-and multi-person households than senior single-and multi-person households; Second, stress among young single-person households was mainly influenced by physical environmental factors while stress among senior single-person households was influenced by both physical and social environmental factors. The results suggest that customized support at the local level is necessary in consideration of age-specific characteristics and stress vulnerabilities when promoting policies for the promotion of mental health among single-person households.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the structural models in which early cumulative risk factors affect children's language(indicated by expressive vocabularies) and social development(indicated by peer competence) at age 3 thorough their effects on the home learning environment. To examine the hypothesized models, the data of 1,725 families from the second and the fourth waves of the Panel Study of Korean Children was used. Correlation analysis and structural equation modeling were conducted to test the models. First, the cumulative risk factors at age 1 and 3 were highly correlated, implying the stability of the risk factors over time. The more cumulative risk factors at age 1 predicted the lower level of the home learning environment at age 3, which, in turn, was significantly related to both language and social development at age 3. However, the early cumulative risk factors did not directly influence later developmental outcomes. Moreover, the cumulative risk factors at age 3 were directly related to the child's language development, but neither social development northe home learning environment. In addition, the mediational role of the home learning environment (i.e., cumulative risk factors at age 1${\rightarrow}$home learning environment${\rightarrow}$language and social development) was statistically supported. In conclusion, the early cumulative risk factors in infancy indirectly predicted children's development at age 3 through the home learning environment. The practical implications for the early intervention and support for the families with infants who are experiencing multiple risk factors were discussed.
