Comparison of models for sound propagation of low frequency wind turbine noise (풍력발전기의 저주파 소음 전파 모델 비교)

  • Low frequency noise emitted by wind turbines is one of the most noise complaints. In this study, the reliability of the models was examined by comparing the measured sound pressure levels with the predicted levels based on Denish model and commercial programs of the SounPLAN and the ENPro based on ISO 9613. As a result of applying it to representative 3 MW wind turbines, on lnad, the measured and the predicted values differed within a maximum of 5 dB in the frequency range of 12.5 Hz to 80 Hz. It may be due to the change in the acoustic power levels because the wind turbines have been in operation for more than 7 years. However, considering that the Boundary Element Method (BEM) predicted value, which is known to be the most accurate in the low frequency band, the predicted values are well matched within 2.5 dB, the models of this study are expected to be used as deviation within 3 dB.

  • Residents in an area where both trains and cars pass through are exposed to not only road traffic noise but also railway noise. Nevertheless, the degree of annoyance the caused to the residents is being under evaluated as the noises have been evaluated separately. Therefore, this study aimed at evaluating the integrated noise of road traffic and railway, and proving the accuracy of the evaluation result.

  • 본 연구에서는 Wiener 필터링 이론에 의하여 소음원의 입력신호에 대한 최적 한 예측을 할 수 있는 최적예측기(optimal predictor)로써 부가적인 음을 발생시키고 입력신호 및 출력신호 간의 차인 오차를 최소화시키도록 하는 적응신호처리방법에 대 해 설명하고 이러한 적응 신호처리 방법을 이용한 능동 소음 제어 방법을 제시하였다. 이와 아울러 제어계의 환경 변화에 따른 파라메타의 변화에 적응적으로 응답이 가능해 야 하는 적응 소음 제어계에서, 음향궤환과 함께 필히 고려해야하는 부가적인 전달함 수-모델과 스피커를 포함하는 보조경로 및 오차미이크로폰을 포함하는 오차경로의 전 달함수의 영향을 고려한 능동소음제어에 대해 연구하였다.

  • The Intense acoustic wave generated by the jet flame at the lift-off causes the vehicle to vibrate in the form of acoustic loads. The DSM-II(Distributing Source Method-II), which is a representative empirical acoustic loads prediction method, is a method of distributing a noise source along a jet flame axis and has advantages in calculation cost and accuracy. However, due to the limitation of the distributing method, there is a limit to accurately reflect the various launch pad configurations. In this study, acoustic loads prediction method which can freely distribute noise sources is studied. by introducing NURBS(Non-Uniform Rational B-Spline) modeling into empirical prediction method. For the verification of the newly introduced analytical technique of the NURBS, the acoustic loads prediction for the Epsilon rocket's low-noise launch pad shape was performed and the results of the analysis were compared with the existing prediction methods and experimental results.

  • 본 논문에서는 CNN 기반의 소음을 이용한 원동 구동장치 진단시스템(PHM)을 제안한다. 이 시스템은 구동장치로부터 발생된 소리로부터 특징데이터를 추출하여 이를 학습한 후 실시간으로 구동장치의 상태를 진단하는 것을 목적으로 하며, 딥러닝 기술을 이용하여 특정 장치에 종속되지 않고 학습할 데이터에 따라 적용 대상이 쉽게 가변 할 수 있도록 설계하였다. 본 논문에서는 실제 적용될 현장에서 발생할 수 있는 예측외의 소음환경에 유연하게 대처하기 위해 딥러닝 모델 중 CNN을 적용한 시스템을 설계하였으며, 제안된 시스템과 이전 연구에서 제안된 DNN 기반의 기계진단시스템을 학습데이터의 환경과 다른 처리배제가 필요한 소음환경에서 비교 실험하여 제안된 시스템이 새로운 환경적응 성능향상에 대하여 우수한 결과를 얻었음을 확인하였다.

Computational Analysis on the Noise Characteristics of Ship Large Duct (선박용 대형 덕트의 소음 특성 전산해석 연구)

  • Noise prediction for HVAC(Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning) systems are normally performed by empirical method suggested by NEBB(National Environmental Balancing Bureau, 1994). However, the method is not suitable for large ducts in ships. In this paper, computational analysis methods are used to develop a noise prediction method for the large ducts in ships. To develop regression formula of attenuation of sound pressure level in large ducts, Boundary Element Method(BEM) is used. BEM and Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD) are applied to the analysis of flow-induced noise in ducts with stiffeners inside. Loud noise above 100 dB can be generated in some cases. Breakout noises of large ducts are also analyzed by using BEM and Finite Element Method(FEM). The acoustic pressure level shows about 10-15dB difference between inside and outside of the duct. Utilizing the results of this study, it is expected that shipyard planners can predict noise of the HVAC system for ships.

  • This paper deals with the process of estimating the environmental noise generated from the actual flying aircraft using the noise measurement results obtained through the wind tunnel test and verifying it through flight tests. In order to evaluate the environmental noise of an aircraft, noise tests and evaluations are generally conducted according to the procedures prescribed by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). In this paper, we introduced environmental noise evaluation method that can be applied to composite both fixed-wing aircraft and multi-copter, and introduced the evaluation method by experiment. This paper introduces the process of simulating the noise test results measured in the wind tunnel test using real flight test results. In addition, in consideration of flight operating conditions and noise measurement methods proposed by the ICAO, the effective perceived noise level (EPNL) was predicted by performing both the wind tunnel test and the aircraft flight test.

A Prediction of Sound Radiation from Tire Treadband Vibration (타이어 트레드밴드 진동 음향방사 예측)

  • The noise generated from a treadband mechanism of a tire has been the subject of this research. In particular, the treadband has been treated as an infinite tensioned beam resting on an elastic foundation which includes damping. The main objective is to predict the sound power generated from a system mentioned above by locating harmonic point forces representing the excitation of treadband at the contact patch. It is possible to predict the sound power radiated from this structure by using wavenumber transformation techniques. In order to find out the minimum radiated sound power, All parameters were varied. Thus, this model can be used as a tire design guide for selecting parameters which produces the minimum noise radiation.

철도궤도의 진동 및 방사소음 분석, 점감 및 활용 방법

  • 철도차량은 중요한 친환경 대중교통 수단으로서 운행 구간이 확장되고 있다. 그러나 철도선로가 거주지역을 통과하여 설치되면서 환경 소음 문제가 야기되고 있으며 이의 저감이 중요한 이슈 중 하나이다. 철도차량 및 궤도에서 발생하는 전동음은 저감해야 할 주요 소음원 중 하나이다. 따라서 철도의 진동 및 소음 관련된 연구현황들에 대해 알아보고 궤도 지지단을 고려한 레일의 진동과 방사 소음 특성을 예측하고 궤도 모니터링 시스템 개발에까지 적용이 가능한 방법들에 대한 연구가 필요하다.
