In this study, in order to propose an improvement plan for fire simulation training to improve fire response capability, fire simulation training is conducted for three business facilities, and changes according to whether training materials are used and whether the response time for each response stage is reflected in the training evaluation. The response posture and response ability of the training participants were observed and analyzed. As a result of the analysis, it was analyzed that most of the training participants improved their participation in training, response posture, and response ability when the use of training textbooks and response time for each response stage were reflected in the training evaluation. In the event of a fire simulation training, a number of training materials that can similarly implement the fire situation are used to improve and maintain the fire response capabilities (fire notification and fire report, initial extinguishing, and evacuation) of the training participants, and the target time for each response step. The result was that it can be used as a useful index for improving fire response capability and improving fire simulation training in the future and feedback only when quantitative training evaluation is conducted based on this setting.
This study is a preparation for the application of FSA (Formal Safety Assessment) to the fire safety of ships. FSA is the new-fashioned methodology proposed to prevent ships from the accidents. To make a base of the fire safety assessment about ship's fire protection design and Classification Society rule, statistical informations for the fire safety engineering are investigated. From results, the necessity of new criterion for ship's fire safety design, the need to study the human behavior in the evacuation from fire, and the development of new fire progress model considering special situations in ships are acknowledged.
This article is a study on the activity of rescue workers for designing simulation training scenarios assuming chemical accidents. On the basis of the complexity of the indoor scene in the case of chemical accidents and terrorism, we designed a 12-step simulation training scenario for two teams to analyze the improvement in firefighters' capabilities. On the basis of activity measurement in the simulation scenario, step 2 of training had the most drops in the maximum heart rate, as follow: N1, from 163 bpm to 153 bpm; N2, from 186 bpm to 151 bpm; N3, from 168 bpm to 162 bpm; and N4, from 166 bpm to 152 bpm. In terms of intensity level in the allowable activity time, it was found that in step 2 both N1 and N2 reduced from Level 5 to Level 3, N3 remained at Level 4, N4 reduced from Level 4 to Level 3, and the maximum allowable activity time increased.
This study examined the activity of the simulated training scenarios and special rescue crew assuming a chemical accident inside the building. To improve the response ability and safety of rescue personnel in the event of a chemical accident, a total of eight stages of simulated training scenarios were conducted and the activity was measured. As a result of the activity measurement according to the simulation training scenario, the average maximum heart rate of the rescuers was the highest at 177.50 ppm in the 4th stage, and then 176.67 ppm for the 5th step, 171.17 ppm for the 2nd step, 169.33 ppm for the 3rd step, 162.17 ppm for the 6th step, 159.58 ppm for the 7th step, 148.75 ppm for the 8th step, and 139.33 ppm for the 1st step. The mean maximum respiratory rate was the highest at 38.17 rpm in the 4th stage, followed by 37.58 rpm in the 5th stage, 32.00 rpm in the 6th stage, 31.58 ppm in the 7th stage, 31.33 rpm in the 3rd stage, 31.08 rpm in the 2nd stage, and 28.00 rpm in the 8th stage. The 1st stage was 22.67 rpm. In addition, body water reduction measurements were reduced by up to 0.7 g due to the training intensity.
The vitual reality technology to assist fire activities has been developed using Geographic Information Systems (GIS). For this, the 3D-geographic information of Nagasaki city, Japan was constructed from tracing the aerial photograph and adding the height information of measured buildings including stairs. And also, with large multi-plane stereo presentation equipment called Immersible Projection Technology (IPT), and the 3D-digital map was presented in actual scale of town. As the result, the observer could obtain three-dimensional information in the various angles as if we can gain our experience at first hand, it will help to assist fire activities.

This study is intended to verify the efficiency of the information system by using the navigation application in case of fire. In the demonstration scenario simulation, it was assumed that a fire occurred 6th floor in Korea Institute of Industrial Design Promotion located in C city, K province. Eighty juniors students from K University's department of paramedics of science participated. As a result of the experiment, the demonstration simulation using the navigation application showed that the evacuation time was faster than the case of evacuation guidance in a fire situation. The need for a fire prevention system and fire prevention awareness before and after the implementation of the demonstration scenario simulation increased the need for a fire prevention system and fire prevention awareness score after the experiment.

In this paper, we propose a central disaster monitoring system of the forest fire. This system provides the safe-zone and detection to reduce the suppression efforts. In existing system, it has a few providing the predicting of wildfire spread model and speed through topography, weather, fuel factor. This paper focus on the forest fire diffusion model and predictions of the path identified to ensure the safe zone. Also we have considering the forest fire of moving direction and speed for fire suppression and monitering. The proposed algorithm could provide the technique to analyze the attribute information that temperature, wind, smoke measured over time. This proposed central observing monitoring system could provide the moving direction of spred out forecast wildfire. This observing and monitering system analyze and simulation for the moving speed and direction forest fire, it could be able to predict and training the forest fire fighters in a given environment.
In this study, the perceptions were surveyed fire risk and flash flames concerning the firefighters. The results were statistically evaluated according to age, experience and rank. More than 70% of the respondents answered that there is a possibility of unexpected flame exposure in the field of fire, but there was no recognition difference according to age, experience and rank. However, if there is an emergency situation in the field of fire, the survey on the ability to cope with crises showed that there is a difference in perception depending on the age, career, and rank of respondents. From these results, it is expected that strengthening simulation training of unexpected situation will be more urgently required in the future, and measures should be taken to minimize human accidents through improvement of standard operation procedures or supplement of fire suppression education according to unexpected situation.
