A Study on the Characteristics of Planning of Hwa-sung from the Point of Water System (수체계로 본 수원화성 건설의 계획적 특성에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to find out the construction process and planning characteristics of Suwon and Hwa-sung in 18th century from the point of water system. This study has an explanatory approach. The planning intents in the water system was driven out by analyzing various planning elements in relation to water system in the process of constructing Hwa-sung in 18th century. Using Entire Map of Hwa-sung, land registration map made in 1911 and topographic map of 1/10,000 scale made in 1917, water system and interpretation of spatial structure in Hwa-sung were analyzed. The results are as follows(Planning characteristics of the water system in Haw-sung in 18th century are as follows). Firstly, in determining the spatial structure and location of Hwa-sung, water system had an important role. Secondly, integrated drainage system was planned by the organization of natural and artificial water stream. Thirdly, the main street system and land use structure were planned in relation with water system. Fourthly, territoriality of main area was planned with water stream. Fifthly, ponds were constructed for flood control and they had important role as landscape elements. Sixthly, water stream was used as intentional BiBo element. As a result of the study, the weater system of Hwa-sung in 18th century was planned by the organization of natural and artificial water stream in relation with the location of new town and wide area's spatial structure, street system, land use structure, territoriality of main area, terriflood control, water quality protection, landscape, 비보 and urban daily life.

  • 본 논문에서는 현재 Jazz에서 사용되어지는 화성기법을 Pat Metheny의 작품인 "Bright Size Life"를 통해서 알아보았다. D Major Scale이 선율에 주로 사용된 본 작품은 A 부분에서는 선율이 완전 5도의 음정으로 발전 되었고 B부분에서는 장7도의 음정을 이용하였다. 화성은 중간에 D Minor Scale의 Bb/A가 사용되어서 Modal InterChange기법도 나타나고 있다. B부분에서는 G/A, F/G의 Constant Structure가 나오고 있다.

  • 본 논문에서는 현재 Jazz에서 사용되어지는 화성기법을 Pat Metheny의 작품인 “Question & Answer”를 통해서 알아보았다. D Minor Pentatonic Scale이 선율에 주로 사용된 본 작품은 Intro부분에서는 Quater Voicing이 사용되었다. A 부분에서는 Line Cliche와 D Minor Scale과 D Harmonic Minor Scale의 Diatonic Chord를 사용하였지만 A Aeolian Mode적인 기법이 A부분 셋 번째 단에서 사용되어 Modal적인 분위기도 연출 하였으며 B부분에서는 John Coltrane이 자주 사용하였던 3 Tonic 기법이 사용되면서 동질의 화성이 일정간격으로 움직이는 Constant Structure기법도 사용되었다.

The Propagation Effects on the Regional Economy Induced by U-City Construction in Wha-sung and Dong-tan City (U-City 구축에 따른 지역경제 파급효과 - 화성.동탄지역을 중심으로 -)

  • This study is unlike common Input-Output Analysis in the point that both RAS and methods are applied to the dynamic Input-Output Model simultaneously. We have analyzed the propagation effects on the regional economy from the investment generated by u-City construction in Wha-sung and Dong-tan City. The main results of the study are as follows. The total induced effect on production according to u-City construction in Wha-sung and Dong-tan City is estimated about 2.9 times. On the other hand, u-City industry is appreciated as a industry which a forward linkage effect is very high while a backward linkage effect is not that high.

  • 본 연구는 1997년 세계문화유산으로 지정된 수원화성의 야간경관조명연출에 따른 조명실태와 효과를 조사 분석하였다. 평가대상은 화성의 경관조명시설이 설치된 33개소 중 측정당시 설치가 완료된 성곽의 내 외부와 서북공심돈을 선정하였다. 평가방법은 야간에 조명현황조사 및 물리량의 측정을 실시하였다. 물리량은 피조면의 휘도, 색온도 및 색도를 측정하였으며, 이를 토대로 경관조명의 연출효과를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 전체적인 조명방식은 건축물 하단부에 설치된 지주등으로 상향조명을 하거나, 외곽 투광기를 이용한 전반조명이 병용되고 있었다. 조명연출실태는 성벽의 경우 연속된 성곽의 이미지를 강조하고, 빛의 콘트라스트를 이용하여 건축시설물을 강조함으로써 리듬감을 연출하였다. 색온도의 경우 성곽의 차가운 이미지를 보완하기 위하여 따뜻한 색온도의 광원을 사용하여 전체적 이미지를 안정적이고 부드럽게 표현하였다. 색도의 경우 전체적으로 황색의 색도가 나타났는데, 우리나라 전통건축에서 강조되어야 할 단청이나 부재를 위해서는 광원의 색채선정에 신중한 고려가 요구된다.

  • The purpose of this study is not only to show up the fact which a kind of construction management was applied during the ancient Korea, especially, Chosun Dynasty but also to understand its construction capacity by analysing various information. mainly collected from the book, HwaSungSungYouk-EuGye. The book was made by ChungCho who was one of the great kings Choson Dynasty, which has lots of information about how to build HwaSung during the last of the eighteen century. This study starts from the definition that the HwaSungSungYouk was one of the construction projects which is the concept for construction management today. The construction project can be defined in terms of its distinctive characteristics: a project is a temporary endeavor undertaken to create a unique product. Temporary means that every project has a definite beginning and a definite end. Unique means the product is different in some distinguishing way from all similar products. A project is also undertaken several kinds of organizations. They may involve a single person or many thousands. 1'his study is to show some of the effective methods. Firstly, the concept of the database system today can be applied to effectively control and classify the complicated data in the HwaSungSungYouk-EuGye. Secondly, on the basis of the database system, the concept of modem construction management will be also use to figure out the construction data of the HwaSungSungYouk-EuGye.

  • Local dust storm and lifting to dust frequently occurs in Mars. But it is known to lift dust is associated with atmospheric circulation, the cause of dust lifting is not find yet. The height of dust storm is more than the Himalayas, and the large size dust storm covers half of hemisphere or hemisphere. The kind of dust storm is risk factor to land and to carry out a mission. In this paper, we carry out analysis on the season and place of dust storm, and construct a map with the place of dust storm. We expect that the season and place of dust storm are able to be predicted with being based on the results. And this paper can be utilized as preliminary for selection of landing site and time of launching and landing.

Analysis of Optical Satellite Images and Pyroclastic Flow Inundation Model for Monitoring of Pyroclastic Flow Deposit Area (화성쇄설류 분출 지역의 감시를 위한 광학영상과 화성쇄설류 범람 예측 모델링 분석)

  • Field survey research on damages caused by volcanic activities has plenty of difficulties due to human resources, safety and costs issues. Remote sensing application using satellite image is one of very useful tools to overcome those issues. In this study, we monitored the volcanic activities of Sinabung volcano in 2010, which is located in Sumatra island, Indonesia by using Landsat 7 ETM+ satellite images acquired on 17 April, 2009 and 30 July, 2012. We found that the area of pyroclastic flow inundation after 2010 has been tripled roughly, since extracting the pyroclastic flow inundation before and after 2010 eruption from classification. The result from modeling of pyroclastic flow inundation has been compared with the extracted pyroclastic flow inundation from Landsat 7 ETM+ images. As a result, we confirmed that the length of inundation area from the modeling was calculated to 92% accurate, but the width of inundation area was somewhat imprecisely estimated in the volcanic area having the sharp slope and only calculated to 17% accurate.

  • This study validates if this relationship results in differences of significance levels between first time and repeat visitors and analyzes if there exist any differences in the spatial characteristics of tourist attractions using Social Network Analysis(SNA) for the spacial attributes of movement network Focusing on Hwaseong city, South Korea. It is important for balanced development between tour sites in Hwaseong by enhancing the value of tourism resources and applying the concept of hub-and-spoke tourism development. Based on the analyzing the centrality of tourist movement networks, degree centrality, closeness centrality, and betweenness centrality all did not show much variation for 20 tourist attractions versus the top five. That is, the attractions that both first time and repeat visitors visit are concentrated in well-known, famous places. The authors hope that this study, which defines practical interactions among attractions based movement, will be used as practical data for developing tourist retention marketing strategies.

Amino Acid Composition of Milled and Brown Rices (현미와 백미의 품종간 아미노산 조성)

  • The objectives of this study were to analyze amino acid composition of brown and milled rice of five varieties (Kwngan, Daean, Daejin, Sura, Hwaseong) and to evaluate their protein quality by several chemical scores. The protein contents of brown rice ranged from 6.7 to 8.0% and those of milled rice ranged from 6.1 to 7.5%. Daejin showed the highest protein contents in brown and milled rice among five rice varieties. Glx (glutamate + glutamine), Asx (asparagine + aspartic acid), arginine, leucine and valine were dominant amino acids in brown and milled rices and the most limiting amino acid was lysine. Ratios of essential amino acids to total amino acids were 36.8∼38.3% in brown rice and 35.8∼37.7% in milled rice. Protein scores were 76.4 to 79.6 in brown rices and 66.9 to 77.9 in milled rices, respectively. Chemical scores ranged from 60.7 to 63.2 in brown rices and from 55.5 to 62.4 in milled rices, respectively. The first limiting amino acid was lysine, the second threonine, and the third isoleucine in chemical scores.
