  • 디지털 컨버전스의 대표주자로서 전자 통신 업계의 첨단 아이템으로 부상하고 있는 홈 네트워크 기술은 가정 내의 전자기기가 네트워크로 구성되어 장치나 시간, 장소에 구애 받지 않고 사용자에게 다양한 서비스를 제공하는 기술이다. 이러한 기술 중의 디지털 엔터테인먼트 분야의 멀티미디어 영상 스트리밍 기술의 발전을 위해 홈 네트워크상에서의 미디어 스트리밍 서비스 제공시 사용자의 장치 간 이동성을 인식하고 무선 환경에서의 QoS를 지원하는 유무선 스트리밍 시스템을 구현하여 스트리밍 서비스를 받고 있는 사용자의 장치간 이동이 발생 하더라도 영상의 계속적인 재생이 가능하도록 하였으며, 무선 네트워크상의 스트리밍 영상 재생 시 대역폭 측정을 통해 효율적인 미디어 영상 전송이 가능하도록 하는 유무선 스트리밍 시스템을 구현 하였다.

  • This paper described the design and implementation of the FRA(Fault Recovery Agent) for home network environment based on IP-USN. This system consists of a FDA, FSA, and FRA. FDA is an agent that detects an fault by hooking techniques for multimedia distance education based on IP-USN environment. FSA is an agent that is an fault sharing system for multimedia distance education based on IP-USN environment. FRA is a system that is suitable for recovering software fault for multimedia distance education running on home network environment based on IP-USN. It is necessary for the system to be protected by reactivity of media service instance instead of breaking process of session. This system is limited only for FRA modeling.

  • Recently, home network system is providing more various services as home robot applied. A home robot not only basically controls home device but also services prevention of crimes, prevention of disasters through home monitoring and various entertainments while it navigates the autonomously based home network system. However, for the existing home robot to it is not easy to install all functions because the size of robot device becomes larger and the management of contents and applications executed becomes uneasy and has difficulties in adding new functions. Moreover many improvements are necessary for functioning of robot's location awareness. In this paper, we propose a more improved home robot system which uses resources of the robot efficiently as it divides the complicated operation of the robot among external digital device and adds new functions easily and recognizes the location of the robot by RFID.

  • An intelligent home network system using low-power and low-cost sensor nodes was designed and implemented. In Intelligent Home Network System, active home appliances control is composed of RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) based user indoor location tracking, dynamic multi-hop routing, and learning integration remote-control. Through the remote-control learning, home appliances can be controlled in wireless network environment. User location information for intelligent service is calculated using RSSI based Triangle measurement method, and then the received location information is passed to Smoothing Algorithm to reduce error rate. In order to service Intelligent Home Network, moreover, the sensor node is designed to be held by user. The gathered user data is transmitted through dynamic multi-hop routing to server, and real-time user location & environment information are displayed on monitoring program.

  • 스마트 홈 환경에서 사용자 중심 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 가전기기를 제어하고 네트워크에 연결하기 위한 미들웨어기술과 상황에 맞는 서비스를 제공하기 위해 사용자 위치 정보가 중요하다. 기존의 위치 시스템들은 장애물 등에 영향을 많이 받아 정확한 위치 정보를 얻을 수 없다는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 OSGi 미들웨어 상에서 관성 센서와 RFID Reader를 이용하여 위치추적 시스템의 난점인 초기 위치설정 문제와 오차 누적 문제를 개선한 사용자 위치 추정 시스템을 설계하였다. 또한 스마트 홈 환경 안에서 본 논문에서 제안한 시스템이 장애물의 영향을 받지 않고 동작하는 것을 확인하였다.

  • The mobile sink is most suitable to guarantee the real time processing to events in ubiquitous environment. However it brings many challenges to wireless sensor networks. In particular, the question of how to transfer the collected data to the mobile sink is an important topic in the aspect of effective management of wireless sensor nodes. In this paper, a new data dissemination model is proposed. Since this method uses the home agent and the access node concepts, it provides reliable and efficient data delivery to mobile sink with minimum overhead. In this proposed method, the information of the mobile sink which is constantly moving is informed only to the home agent node and the access node, instead of all sensor nodes. Thus, the collected data from sensor nodes are transferred to the fixed home agent and it sends these data to the mobile sink. Since the confliction phenomenon between data packets in wireless networks could be reduced, the success ratio of data arriving in the mobile sink is highly enhanced. In our experiments, the proposed method reduces the number of broadcast packets so that it saves the amount of energy consumed for transmitting and receiving the data packets. This effect contributes to prolong the lifetime of the wireless sensor networks operated by batteries.

  • Recently, technologies related to the Internet of Things have developed rapidly and research on mobile environment home network systems is actively in progress. The Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) Working Group proposed the CoAP/6LoWPAN technology as a suitable protocol for internetworking IoT devices with the Internet in a limited environment and adopting it as a standard. However, the existing home network systems hardly include security protocols. IETF recommends DTLS(Datagram Transport Layer Security) on UDP as security protocol suitable for IoT environments. In this paper, smart home network system based on CoAP/6LoWPAN by using DTLS is implemented in mobile environments. The data transfer time is measured according to each procedure of the DTLS protocol and the need to improve DTLS protocol is suggested.

  • According to the recent expansion of the network environment, the spread of smart devices is continuously increasing. With the spread of smart devices such as smart phones, smart pads and wearables, changes are taking place in smart technologies and IT convergence technologies. The development of smart technology is a key element of the 4th industrial technology. The Fourth Industrial Revolution expanded the new service-based industry by adding intelligence to residential, industrial and production environments using IT convergence and smart devices. Research on providing various services using smart technologies, such as smart home, smart factory, smart farm, and smart healthcare, is being conducted in variety. In particular, There is a sharp rise in smart homes due to the proliferation of IoT devices and the growth of sensor technology, control technology, applications, data management, and cloud services. Smart home services using smart technology provide residents with convenient, beneficial services and environments. Smart home service has complemented the existing home network service, but there still are flaws to be modified. In other words, the spread of smart devices, the development of service provider-oriented services, and the interlocking of services have limitations in providing services in consideration of user environment and user state. In order to solve this problem, this study proposes a smart home service system that considers the situation of the elderly.

  • 최근 유비쿼터스 환경을 실현하기 위한 노력이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 대표적으로 센서 네트워크를 예로 들 수 있는데, 센서 네트워크란 다양한 위치에 선치된 태그와 센서노드를 통해 사람과 사물, 환경정보를 인식하고 그 정보를 무선으로 수집해 언제 어디서나 자유롭게 이용할 수 있도록 구성된 네트워크를 의미한다. 이를 실현하기 위해 센서 네트워크를 적용한 물류, 환경제어, 홈 네트워크, 헬스케어, 교통 등 다양한 응용분야가 적용되고 있는 가운데, 센서 네트워크 분야는 거대해지고 응용분야가 확장될 것으로 예상된다.

  • This paper presents the smart system platform for remotely controlling the windows and doors system(WDS), which gathers and analyzes the state of WDS and the environmental data for preventing crimes and keeping a pleasant indoor. In particular, standard API between the smart WDS platform and the smart home platform has been presented to be easy to a home services, such as security, safety, and home appliance control. The private gateway of wire and wireless communication interfaces has been developed to remotely control and monitor the WDS for anytime and anyplace solving the crime prevention and ventilation problem. Web-and App-based user interface in order to detect the opening and shutting states and remotely control WDS have also been developed to support the mobile environment, respectively.
