  • 전력거래소에서는 수요관리에 대한 지원금을 수요측의 입찰제도를 통하여 결정하는 시범사업을 실시하고 있다. 본 논문은 수요입찰에 의한 지원금의 결정에 관여하는 급전계획 프로그램에 대한 내용을 기술하고 있다. Scheduling 프로그램은 수요의 비선형 특성을 고려하기 위하여 혼합정수계획법(MIP)을 이용하여 작성하였으며 효용성을 입증하기 위한 사례검토를 수행하였다.

  • Constraint Programming in AS and Optimization in OR started and have grown in different backgrounds to solve common decision-making problems in real world. This paper tries to integrate results from those different fields by suggesting a hybrid solver as an integration framework. Starting with an integrating modeling language, a way to implement a hybrid solver will be discussed using Warren's abstract machine and an finite domain constraint programming solver structures. This paper will also propose some issues rising when implementing the hybrid solver and provide their solutions.

  • In this study, the formulation of the developed mixed-integer programming model for a multi-reservoir system including hydro-electric power generation (park et al., 2001) has been improved for multiple reservoir system operation using risk evaluation criteria. Sequential linear programming(SLP) was applied for the linearization of the hydro-electric energy term in the model. In order to allocate monthly reservoir release reasonably the value of weight for hydro-electric energy was assigned by level of power generation hour. The improved model was applied to the five reservoirs system in the Han river. And could be confirmed the availibility of new formulation appling risk evaluation criteria.

  • Constraint Programming and Optimization have developed in different fields to solve common problems in real world. In particular, constraint propagation and linear Programming are their own fundamental and complementary techniques with the potential for integration to benefit each other. This intersection has evoked the efforts to combine both for a solution method to combinatorial optimization problems. Attempts to combine them have mainly focused on incorporating either technique into the framework of the other with traditional models left intact. This paper argues that integrating both techniques into an old modeling fame loses advantages from another and the integration should be molded in a new framework to be able to exploit advantages from both. The paper propose a declarative modeling framework in which the structure of the constraints indicates how constraint programming and optimization solvers can interact to solve problems.

  • During drought or impending drought period, the reservoir operation method is required to incorporate demand-management policy rule. The objective of this study is focused to the development of demand reduction rule by incorporating hedging-effect for a single reservoir system. To improve the performance measure of the objective function and constraints, we could incorporate three risk performance criteria proposed by Hashimoto et al. (1982) by mixed-integer programming and also incorporate successive linear programming to overcome nonlinear hedging term from the previous study(Shih et al., 1994). To verify this model, this hedging rule was applied to the Daechung multi-purpose dam. As a result, we could evaluate optimal hedging parameters and monthly trigger volumes.

  • 이 논문의 목적은 기존의 상수도 관망을 개선하는데 있어 어느 관을 교체 또는 재생할 것인가와 펌프용량을 얼마나 늘릴 것인가를 결정함으로써 관망내 각 급수지점에서의 요구유량및 수압을 만족시킴은 물론 그에 드는 비용을 최소화시키는 모델을 개발하는데 있다. 이 논문은 관교체 비용, 세관 및 재생 비용, 관보수 비용, 펌핑 비용, 펌프시설 확충비용 등의 다섯가지 비용들을 비교 검토함으로써 의사결정을 하게 된다. 제약조건식으로는 급수 조건식, 에너지 방정식, 수리학적 방정식, 결정 조건식, 한계 조건식, 정수 조건식 등이 있다. 이 모델을 수식화하면 정수혼합 비선형계획법 (mixed-integer nonlinear programming, MINLP) 문제가 된다. 이 문제를 풀기 위해 비선형해법의 GRG (generalized reduced gradient) 방법과 분기와 한계 (banch and bound) 기법을 통한 implicit enumeration 기법을 접목시키는 방법을 제안하였다.

  • 현재 전력수급기본계획은 전국을 한일권으로 하여 발전계획을 수립하고 송변전설비계획을 수립하고 있다. 그러나 발전설비와 송변전설비는 하나의 망으로 연결되어 상호 보완적 영향을 주기 때문에 수급계획시 두 설비를 동시에 평가하는 것이 무엇보다 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 혼합정수형 선형계획법(MIP)을 이용하여 발송전 전력설비를 통합적으로 최적 구성할 수 있는 방안에 대하여 분석하였다. 전력수급기본계획 수립시 제출된 건설의향설비에 대해 송변전설비와 통합하여 적정 예비율을 갖는 최적설비 구성방안을 수립하고, 이때의 설비투자비와 운전비를 분석하였다.

  • 전통적인 신호제어모형은 다음의 두가지 결점을 내포하고 있다. 신호현시의 방법을 적정화하는 점이다. Rouphail(1990)은 전통적으로 행해온 신호주기와 녹색시간분할의 적정화에서 더 나아가 현시방법(signal timing)과 좌회전의 문제를 동시적으로 적정화 시킬 수 있는 모형을 제시한 바 있다. 그러나 Rouphail의 모형은 4개 현시에 국한되었고 현시방법(또는 현시의 선택)도 대단히 제약적이었다. 본연구는 이러한 Rouphail의 모형을 실제상황 에 보다 일반성있게 적용할 수 있도록 확장하는 연구이다. 여기서는 현시방법(또는 선택하는 현시으 형태와 수)을 확대시키고 또 연속변수와 이산변수를 동시에 적정화시키는 혼합정수선형계획법을 적용한 컴퓨터 모형을 구성하고 이를 사례 지역에 적용하엿다. 분석결과는 본 모형이 Rouphail 모형과 비교할 때 현시방법의 선택문제에 있어서 뿐만 아니라 좌회전(비보호, 보호 또는 혼합적)현시의 처리에 있어서 훨씬 더 효율적임을 확인하였다.

An Optimization Model for O&M Planning of Floating Offshore Wind Farm using Mixed Integer Linear Programming

  • In this paper, we propose operations and maintenance (O&M) planning approach for floating offshore wind farm using the mathematical optimization. To be specific, we present a MILP (Mixed Integer Linear Programming that suggests the composition of vessels, technicians, and maintenance works on a weekly basis. We reflect accessibility to wind turbines based on weather data and loss of power generation using the Jensen wake model to identify downtime cost that vary from time to time. This paper also includes a description of two-stage approach for maintenance planning & detailed scheduling and numeric analysis of the number of vessels and technicians on the O&M cost. Finally, the MILP model could be utilized in order to establish the suitable and effective maintenance planning reflecting domestic situation.

  • While most or fixed-time control systems such as UTCS produce the signal timing plans that either maximizing bandwidth or minimizing a disutility index of delay and stops, cannot consider the fluctuation of traffic flow. One category of the traffic-response control systems, which make small changes on a predefined signal plan such as SCOOT, cannot be easily modified for feedback real-time control schemes based on observation of variables other than traffic flow. The other category, which decide to whether switch the traffic lights or not at each step of time as in PRODYN, does not adequately consider the relations between traffic flows and traffic lights at each step of time. In this paper we present a complete formulation that adequately consider the relations between traffic flows and traffic lights at each step of time. The formulation is a binary mixed integer linear programing (BMILP) that obtain traffic lights at each step for minimizing delay. Since numarical examples for application of the proposed model illustrated that the model adequately produced dynamic traffic signal plans minimizing delay at each step, the model may be expected to contribute to advanced transportation management systems (ATMS) for dynamic traffic signal control.
