WATER QUALITY OF THE CULTURE BEDS OF HARD CLAM AND ADJACENT SEA OF THE Y대녀 REFINERY OF HONAM OIL REFINERY CO. IN KWANG YANG BAY (광양만 백합양식장 수질에 미치는 영향에 대하여)

  • The present study was conducted to evaluate the effects of oil spill from the wastewater of Yeosu Refinery on water quality of hard clam culture beds in Taein-Ri, Kwang Yang Bay. Wastewater and oil spill may reach to the culture beds in 6-8 hours by tidal current movement. Water quality is nearly normal as unpolluted sea water except the concentration of n-hexane extractive chemicals which shows higher than unpolluted sea water in period of September to October in 1973. It may be caused by wastewater of Yeosu Refinery.

  • We have a question about the changing possibility of orientation of discontinuities through the depth of under-ground. To know this, the data from Honam coalfield composed of shale, sandstone and coal and Suwon area which crops out mica schist, were analyzed the discontinuities measured by BIPS and Televiewer. In Honam coalfield the orientations of joints are changed at 30-40 m depth of underground and in Suwon area they are changed around 20 m depth. To compared the results from Honanam coalfield and Suwon area, there are different rock type and geologic structure. However, the attitude of the discontinuities are changing at 20-30 m depth of underground.

  • In this paper, a voice, object, and optical character recognition platform including voice recognition-based smart wearable devices, smart devices, and web AI servers was proposed as an appropriate technology to help the visually impaired to live independently by learning the life cycle of the visually impaired in advance. The wearable device for the visually impaired was designed and manufactured with a reverse neckband structure to increase the convenience of wearing and the efficiency of object recognition. And the high-sensitivity small microphone and speaker attached to the wearable device was configured to support the voice recognition interface function consisting of the app of the smart device linked to the wearable device. From experimental results, the voice, object, and optical character recognition service used open source and Google APIs in the web AI server, and it was confirmed that the accuracy of voice, object and optical character recognition of the service platform achieved an average of 90% or more.

Effects of Cutting Dates on Hay Production of Italian Ryegrass in Paddy Field (예취시기가 답이작 이탈리안라이그라스의 건초생산에 미치는 영향)

  • This experiment was conducted to determine hay making time on the drying period, hay moisture content, hay loss content, yield and forage quality of Italian ryegrass in paddy field. Plant height increased rapidly from middle of April, and leaf weight rate were 55.6% at April 20 and 18.9% at May 30. Moisture content and loss content of hay were 17.1-20.5% and 10.2-15.0%, respectively, at drying for 4 days from May 10 to May 30. As the growth stage later, crude protein, fat and ash contents reduced, but crude fiber and NFE contents increased. Dry matter and TDN yield at the cutting of May 20 and May 30 increased to 17-18% and 5-11%, respectively, than those of April 20+May 30.

A Bibliographical Study on 4 Newly Found Jeolla-do Editions of Bumoeunjungkyeongeonhae (새로 발견된 호남판(湖南板) <부모은중경언해(父母恩重經諺解)> 4종의 서지적(書誌的) 연구(硏究))

  • The purpose of this paper is to introduce 4 different Jeolla-do editions of Bumoeunjungkyeongeonhae(父母恩重經諺解) which were newly found recently. Editions of Eunjungkyeong(恩重經) translated in Korean reach 36 editions including these 4 editions. Among 36 editions, 14 editions were published in Jeolla-do. 3 editions of these newly found editions have attachments of 'Sipbeopgyesong(十法界頌)' and 'Sippaljiok(十八地獄)'. The feature of these attachments' form was started since 1563 edition of Songgwangsa in Jeolla-do. In particular, 1628 edition of Baegamsa and 1653 edition of Naejangsa have same attachments. Therefore it is presumed that these 2 editions were copied and engraved based on Songgwangsa edition.

  • This study deals with a method of combining image generation using Semi Supervised Learning based on GAN (Generative Adversarial Network) and image classification using ResNet50. Through this, a new approach was proposed to obtain more accurate and diverse results by integrating image generation and classification. The generator and discriminator are trained to distinguish generated images from actual images, and image classification is performed using ResNet50. In the experimental results, it was confirmed that the quality of the generated images changes depending on the epoch, and through this, we aim to improve the accuracy of industrial accident prediction. In addition, we would like to present an efficient method to improve the quality of image generation and increase the accuracy of image classification through the combination of GAN and ResNet50.
