  • Recently, lots of research are going on relation to Improving the Flexibility through all of construction I industry in that space, materials, structure, construction method, etc. The style , space and pattern of housing have been changing by reason that satisfying change of residential environment at the needs of the times, transformation of future-oriented construction trend and recognition of demand-oriented. Therefore, this study should suggest alternations through comparing and analyzing to construction factor of improving the Flexibility, and then should show direction and guideline for realizing actual a long life housing at the next generation through applicable and various classification examples in apartment housing.

  • The residence means a given place. It is repeated that process of overcome, protection, assimilation and adaptation has applied to environmental condition. Architecture is part of environment and various. Thus there are lots of types. We need the place with uniqueness, and it is suitable for biological and humanistic environment. The living space turned to be meaningful place with design, and people start to live with nature together. Therefore design restructures whole environment and makes people to be closed with nature. We have to understand nature of environment to connect one place with the other place, and people start to put down roots certain place. Coping with social needs, we have to develop the architectural alternative which can be applied to natural condition. This study suggest sound high-density urban residential model as it function social mix.

The Block Segmentation and Extraction of Layout Information In Document (문서의 영역분리와 레이아웃 정보의 추출)

  • In this paper, we suggest a new algorithm applied to the segmentation of published documents to obtain constituent and layout information of document. Firstly, we begin the process of blocking and labeling on a 300dpi scanned document. Secondly, we classify the blocked document by individual sub-regions. Thirdly, we group sub-regions into graphic areas and text areas. Finally, we extract information for layout recognition by using the data. From an experiment on papers of an academic society, we obtain the above 98% of region classification rate and extraction rate of information for the layout recognition.

  • This research was for the analysis of gas industries and 12 Hazard evaluation techniques for the industries, and present the selection guideline of the techniques using 6 factors affecting them. 4 indexes & consequences of incidents into 8 characteristics. Also, combining the indexes with the selection procedure in flowchart format could reduce improper techniques and present alternatives. Also, it is used as guidelines to get safety improvement plan to gas companies.

  • ENCs are encoded using a numerical charts developed for publishing paper charts and serviced in forms of grid styles. For this reason, the density of ENCs' sounding information is not consistent and that requires improved methods. In this study, K-Means, ISODATA clustering algorithm as classification methods for satellite image was reviewed and adopted to this case study. The designed algorithm includes loading module for ENC data, improvement algorithm of sounding information, writing module of ENC data. According to the results of algorithm, we could confirm the improved result.

  • This study proposes a temporary residential prefab modular structure to provide residential space to displaced people after a disaster. Patent cases related to prefab structures are collected for related design implementations, and classified. Space in temporary residential prefab modular structures must consider factors such as "Expandability", "Assembly and Disassembly", "Built-in Structure", and "Energy Efficiency", and the cases are classified into "Detailed Assembly Modular Type", "Modular Expandable Type", and "Space Unit Expandable Type". Overseas patents cases will be collected and analyzed in future studies for providing the efficient way for mass production for the lowest production cost.

  • The Chungdo-type Pottery Culture, distributed through the middle part of the Korean peninsula, is chronologically located in the very former stage of the advent of ancient states. It has two different traditions of pottery manufacturing technique which are totally different in choosing raw materials, shaping, fixing and firing. It seems that two different traditions had been selectively applied by pottery type. In order to understand this peculiar cultural aspect, the pottery typology needs to be different from those applied to cultures where pottery was made and used under the single manufacturing tradition. This study tries to find the new pottery typology which best fits for the understanding the chronology of the Chungdo-Type Pottery Culture. For this purpose, I examined existing typologies, recognized their problems, and then build a new typology. As a result, I found that the former typologies misinterpreted the relative frequencies of each pottery type as different function or region. In this article, I propose the new pottery typology as building a primary classification within each function and region, and then synthesizing all of primary classifications. This new typology eliminates the factors of function and region in understanding the chronology of the Chungdo-Type Pottery Culture, and assorts the regional distinction by comparing pottery types in each region.

Games Application Methodology for History Education: Case Study of Developing a Serious Game for History Education (역사교육에 대한 게임 활용 방안: 기능성 게임 개발사례를 중심으로)

  • Although computer games seem to be efficient tools for facilitating and supporting situated learning in Europe, GBL(game based learning) is less likely in Korea. The objectives of this paper are to address the causes of the problem and evaluate a serious game for history GBL. We review various cases of history GBL projects in European School Net, commercial games and serious games which are related to history. We draw a demand of our game's structural type, learning criterion, basic model of instruction, and executable prototype from the analysis results. Scene management educators pursue and dependencies of turning points in the history are critical differentiator. An evaluation team of educators, learners, and edu-game managers evaluates that the prototype is suitable model for application in history instruction.

  • 토목 구조물에서 수문 (Gate)은 다양한 시설에서 설계되어 적용되고 있다. 이런 수문은 용도나규모, 사용재료, 구동방식에 의해 다양하게 분류되는데, 본 글에서 다룰 Girder 타입의 Sluice Gate 는 가장 많은 분야에서 포괄적으로 적용되는 수문 형식중 하나이다. 일반적으로 2m×2m 미만의 소규모 수문에서는 수문설계에 수리계산이나 응력검토를 요하지 않으나, 높이 5m 가 넘는 대형 수문의 경우 비체의 무게가 수십톤에 달하기 때문에 정수역학이나 동수역학과 같은 수리학적 설계가 반드시 필요하다. 수문설계는 크게 세 가지 해석을 다루는데, 첫 번째는 정수역학 또는 동수역학적 거동에 대한 수문 비체의 구조해석이고 두 번째는 수문의 상승 및 하강을 위한 권양장치 및 수문비체, 구동장치 등의 계산이며 마지막으로는 수문의 형상과 수류형상에 따른 수문의 진동해석 이다. 본 글에서는 두 번째에 해당하는 수문의 상승 및 하강에 영향을 미치는 수리학적 요소들을 통해 가장 합리적인 수문형상설계에 대해 논하고자 한다. 특히 국내에서는 Girder 타입의 수문설계에서 수문하단부 sill 부근의 형상을 쐐기 형태로 일률적으로 적용하고 있는데, 이를 개선하여 유체역학적으로나 경제적으로 보다 유리한 설계안을 본 글을 통해 제안하고자 한다.

Produce complex disaster maps centered on local roads through overlay of disaster maps (유역 개념을 이용한 지방도 중심의 복합재해지도 제작)

  • 최근 기후변화로 인해 국지성 집중호우와 태풍의 발생빈도가 증가하고 있다. 특히 우리나라 국토는 전체면적 중 산지면적이 63%에 해당하여 산지에서 발생하는 산사태와 토석류에 취약한 실정이다. 이러한 피해를 사전에 예방·대비하기 위해 국내·외에서는 재해지도를 제작하여 관리하고 있지만 대부분의 재해지도는 격자형식으로 제작되어 있어 실무자들이 활용하기에는 다소 어려움이 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 산지재해에 취약한 강원도 강릉시 지방도를 대상으로 산림청에서 개발한 산사태위험지도와 토석류 위험지도를 중첩하여 복합재해지도를 제작하였다. 먼저 산사태위험지도에 유역의 개념을 도로에 적용하고서 지방도로를 200m 간격으로 분할하여 도로 중심으로 유역을 제작하였으며, 해당 유역에 산사태위험면적과 토석류위험면적 값을 이용하여 도로의 등급을 1등급(매우 위험) ~ 5등급(매우 안전)으로 분류하였다. 또한 복합재해지도 결과의 검증을 위해 SINMAP모형을 이용하여 오차율을 비교분석한 결과 15% 이내인 것으로로 나타났다. 본 연구는 복합재해에 대비 할 수 있는 유역의 개념을 적용한 재해지도를 제작하며 도로관리자의 숙련도에 상관없이 재해지도를 쉽게 이해하고 활용 할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
