This paper presents a methodology for evaluating suitability of a manned-unmanned aerial vehicle team for a complicated mission. The study identified vehicle performance, equipment performance and level of autonomy as the key factors that affect the mission effectiveness. A manned and an unmanned aircraft were compared, and their performance was quantized in these respects. SEAD was chosen as a representative manned-unmanned team mission. The SEAD mission was broken down to a sequence of tasks. Mission experts evaluated the importance of each mark item for the mission legs. Combining the results showed proper type of aircraft for each leg depending on the complexity, safety, and importance of the task. Finally, the whole mission plan was laid out as a time-based sequence which alleviate pilot workload significantly.

Recently, as SNS services have been increased, studies on recommendation schemes have been actively done. Recommendation scheme provides various favorable or needed services with users on real time. Group recommendation provides users with suitable groups based on their preference. In this paper, we propose a new group recommendation scheme considering user profiles and collaborative filtering in social networks. The proposed scheme can solve the problems of the static profile based group recommendation scheme because it collects the recent group activities and updates user profiles. It also recommends the more various groups by reflecting the similar tendencies of other users within a group through collaborative filtering. Our experimental results show that the proposed scheme recommends various groups that significantly considers the user's changing preferences compared to the existing scheme.

The rapid trends toward outsourcing and collaboration have created complex multi-tier supply chains for construction and engineering industries. Working with suppliers and sub-suppliers requires continuous integration activities in order to maximize the performances of the entire supply chain. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors influencing the performances and long-term business relationship of second-tier suppliers in directed sourcing environment. This study proposes the asset specificity, trust, information-sharing and collaboration, as antecedents variables, and collected the survey responses from the second-tier suppliers in rebar manufacturing works. The statistical results indicate that the asset specificity, trust, information-sharing and collaboration have significant influences on the long-term business relationship of rebar manufacturing second-tier suppliers, but trust has no impact on the performances of second-tier suppliers at 5% significance level. Practical implications are also discussed.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the anti-osteoarthritic effect of the ethanol extract of Boswellia serrata gum resin (FJH-UBS) enriched with keto-β-boswellic acid and 3-O-acetyl-11-keto-β-boswellic acid compared to the conventional Boswellia serrata extract by adding the process of removing oil with hexane, in the monosodium iodoacetate (MIA)-induced osteoarthritis rat model. Methods: Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were orally administered 0, 40, or 80 mg of FJH-UBS/kg body weight (BW)/day for 5 weeks and injected with MIA intra-articularly into right knee joints on day 15 to induce osteoarthritis. Changes in the knee joint microarchitecture, cartilage degradation, the expression of inflammatory mediators, cytokines, and matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) in serum and synovia were observed. Results: Oral administration of FJH-UBS (80 mg/kg BW/day) reduced MIA-induced knee swelling and cartilage degradation and increased the expression of type II collagen and aggrecan in articular cartilage. Furthermore, FJH-UBS administration reduced MIA-induced increases in the serum levels of prostaglandin E2, leukotriene B4, interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-6, and MMP-13, and MIA-induced increases in the mRNA expressions of inducible nitric oxide synthase, cyclooxygenase-2, 5-lipoxygenase, IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α, MMP-2, MMP-9, and MMP-13 in the synovia of knee joints. Conclusion: These results indicate that FJH-UBS exerts its anti-osteoarthritic effects by suppressing the expressions of inflammatory cytokines and MMPs and, thus, cartilage degradation. Furthermore, they suggest that FJH-UBS has potential use as a functional food that improves joint and cartilage health.

AGVs are more and more utilized nowadays and magnetic guided AGVs are most widely used because their system has low cost and high speed. But this type of AGVs requires high infrastructure building cost and has poor flexibility of navigation path layout changing. Thus it is hard to applying this type of AGVs to a small quantity batch production system or a cooperative production system with many AGVs. In this paper, we propose a vision based guideline interpretation technique that uses the cheap, easily installable and changeable color tapes (or paint) as a guideline. So a vision-based AGV with color tapes is effectively applicable to the production systems. For easy setting and changing of AGV navigation path, we suggest an automatic method for interpreting a complex guideline layout including multi-branches and joins of branches. We also suggest a trace direction decision method for stable navigation of AGVs. Through several real-time navigation tests with an industrial AGV installed with the suggested technique, we confirmed that the technique is practically and stably applicable to real industrial field.

This can be promoted collaboration environment for the system and the system is very important for competitiveness, it is equipped. If so, could work in collaboration with members of the organization to promote collaboration what factors? Organizational collaboration and cooperation of many people working, or worth pursuing common goals by sharing information and processes to improve labor productivity, defined as collaboration. Factors that promote collaboration are shared visions, the organization's principles and rules that reflect the visions, on-line system developments, and communication methods. First, it embodies the vision shared by the more sympathetic members are active and voluntary participation in the activities of the organization can be achieved. Second, the members are aware of all the rules and principles of a united whole is accepted and leads to good performance. In addition, the ability to share sensitive business activities for self-development and also lead to work to make this a regular activity to create a team that can collaborate to help the environment and the atmosphere. Third, a systematic construction of the online collaboration system is made efficient and rapid task. According to Student team and A corporation we knew that Cloud services and social media, low-cost, high-efficiency services could achieve. The introduction of the latest information technology changes, the members of the organization's systems and active participation can take advantage of continuing education must be made. Fourth, the company to inform people both inside and outside of the organization to communicate actively to change the image of the company activities, the creation of corporate performance is very important to figure. Reflects the latest trend to actively use social media to communicate the effort is needed. For development of systematic collaboration promoting model steps to meet the organizational role. First, the Chief Executive Officer to make a firm and clear vision of the organization members to propagate the faith, empathy gives a sense of belonging should be able to have. Second, middle managers, CEO's vision is to systematically propagate the organizers rules and principles to establish a system would create. Third, general operatives internalize the vision of the company stating that the role of outside companies must adhere. The purpose of this study was well done in collaboration organizations promoting factors for strategic alignment model based on the golden circle and collaboration to understand and reflect the latest trends in information technology tools to take advantage of smart work and business know how student teams through case analysis will derive the success factors. This is the foundation for future empirical studies are expected to be present.

The Yangsan Forest Management Station (YFMS) of Korean German Forest Management Project (KGFMP), working with the 6 legal villages of Uljugun, Kyongnam, led the forest owners in the area to organize the Forest Management Cooperative (FMC) voluntairily for improvement of private forest management and fostered it as a model from May 1975 to Apr. 1984. YFMS sent out FMC a forest manager as a forestry expert carrying out the leading extension program at the equal position with forest owners and gave FMC financial, administrative and technical assitances. During the 6 years from 1977 to 1982, 4 FMC were founded and are being operated democratically. 228 forest owners have taken the membership of their own free will and the forestland of the members covers 2,567 ha equivalent to 57% of the total private forest in the area. During the period the total area of the planting and tending is 4,185 ha, this means that a member executed 3.1 ha of forest operations per year in average, showing the high willingness on forest operations. In addition the joint works have resulted in the joint properties equivalent to 27 million Won and it will be an important foundation for operation of FMC which is a forest owners's cooperative organization for improvement of private forest management in this area. The total expenditure spent for the fostering of FMC amounted to 497,587 thousand Won and 58% of them were charged from KGFMP funds, 27% from the forest owners and 15% from public funds. The expenditure for investment was 273,104 thousand Won and 59% of the sum were appropriated as subsidies at the national level. The forest owners charged 43% of that and this means that each member invested approximately 100 thousand Won to his forestland per year in average. For the extension program 169,503 thousand Won were spent and it can be explained that 5,885 Won were spent per ha a year. The organization of FMC operated autonomously in a democratic way and the horizontal and leading extension system, which aspects the human rights, were very much effective in fostering the cooperative organization of forest owners for improvement of private forest management.

This study aims to examine the present (Western) modern dance by analyzing the works of three choreographers who are currently at the forefront of the dance scene to identify and understand the current choreographic trend. The three selected choreographers for this study are Justin Peck (USA), Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui (Belgium) and Zach Morris (USA). These choreographers were chosen on the basis of their significant identity within the current dance scene. For analysis, one noteworthy works of each choreographer were selected for video analysis. The result of the analysis illustrates that in the current era of promoting technology convergence in the performing arts industry, the three choreographers approach convergence differently by integrating dance and other mediums in their choreography. Peck converges between ballet and the ordinary, Cherkaoui converges between dance and other cultures and Morris converges between dance and venue.

Recently, the importance of software education is growing because computational thinking of software education is recognized as a key means of future economic development. Also human resources who will lead the 4th industrial revolution need convergence and creativity, computational thinking based on critical thinking, communication, and collaborative learning is known to be effective in creativity education. Software education is also a time needed to reflect social issues such as collaboration with developers sharing interests and open source development methods. Github is a leading social coding site that facilitates collaborative work among developers and supports community activities in open software development. In this study, we apply operational cases of basic learning of social coding sites, learning for storage server with sources and outputs of lectures, and open collaborative learning by using Github. And we propose educational model consisted of four stages: Introduction to Github, Using Repository, Applying Social Coding, Making personal portfolio and Assessment. The proposal of this paper is very effective for software education by attracting interest and leading to pride in the student.
