  • 본 논문에서는 도로 건설현장에서 발생하는 임목폐기물을 도로 보호길 어깨 포설에 재활용 하는 친환경 방안을 제시하였다. 기존에는 임목폐기물을 폐기물로 분류하여 폐기물 전문업체를 통해 위탁 처리하였으나, 임목폐기물의 효율적인 자원 낭비를 방지하고자 도로 보호길 어깨에 임목폐기물을 파쇄하여 포설하고자 한다. 포설 방법은 보호길 어깨를 굴착하여 파쇄칩을 포설 및 다짐한 후 친환경성 접착제를 살포한다. 위 활용 방안의 가능성을 입증하기 위해 우수 침식시험기를 자체 제작 후 실내시험을 실시하였다. 침식 시험기를 이용한 시험 결과 현장 적용이 가능하다는 결론을 얻었다.

Determination of Undrained Shear Strength of Clayey Soils from Self-Boring Pressuremeter Test (자가굴착식 프레셔미터 시험을 이용한 비배수 전당강도 산정)

  • 자가굴착식 프레셔미터 시험(Self-Boring Pressuremeter Test, SBPT)은 지반의 교란을 최소화할 수 있기 때문에 점성토의 비배수 전당강도($S_{u}$ )를 비교적 정확하게 평가할 수 있는 방법 중의 하나로 알려져 있으며, 많은 연구자들에 의하여 SBPT 결과로부터 $S_{u}$ 를 산정하는 여러 가지 방법들이 제안되었다. 본 연구에서는 국내 5개지역에서 총 33회의 SBPT를 수행한후, 기존에 제안된 여러 가지 방법들을 이용하여 $S_{u}$ 를 산정하고, 그 중 변형률 경화 거동을 보이는 지반에서의 $S_{u}$ 를 동일 현장에서 수행한 현장베인시험 결과와 비교. 분석하여 각 방법들의 적용성과 신뢰성을 분석하였다. 그리고, $S_{u}$ 산정 결과에 대한 프레셔미터 멤브레인의 유일한 길이의 영향을 수치해석으로 분석하였으며, 그 결과를 이용하여 기존의 접선영 방법(Subtangent method)을 보정하는 식을 제안하였다. 새로이 보정된 방법으로 산정한 $S_{u}$ 를 현장베인시험 결과와 비교하여 개선 효과를 확인하였다.

A Study on the Optimal Mixture Ratio for Stabilization of Surface Layer on Ultra-soft Marine Clay (초연약 해성점토의 표층고화처리를 위한 최적배합에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, as large constructions on the coast increase, an application of a surface layer stabilization method which is one of the improvement methods for dredged soft clay has increased. However, there are few studies about this. The purpose of this study is clarifying characteristics of ultra-soft marine clay and hardening agent. Also, it is verifying an optimal mixture ratio of hardening agent through the laboratory tests according to designed experiments and proving by statistical analysis and pilot tests. Laboratory tests were performed with proper hardening agent and test soil in accordance with the design of experiments. Regression equations between hardening agents materials and unconfined compressive strength were derived from the tests. The applicability of regression equations were also verified by pilot tests. From the test results, it was found that hardening agent materials(cement, slag, fly-ash, inorganic salts, arwin, gypsum etc.) have some effect upon compressive strength. The optimal mixture ratio which satisfies the required compressive strength was derived from the statistical analysis. The effect of ground improvement by cements and hardening agents was confirmed through the pilot tests. This study will suggest data for design or construction criteria of stabilization of surface layer on ultra-soft marine clay.

  • CFT (Concrete-Filled Tube) is a type of steel column comprised of steel tube and concrete. Steel tube holds concrete and the concrete inside tube takes charge of compressive load. This study presents structural performance of the CFT column which has 73~100 MPa high strength concrete inside. Fluidity, mechanical compression, pump pressure test in flexible pipe were conducted for understanding properties of the high strength concrete. Material properties were achieved by various experimental tests, such as slump, slump flow, air content, U-box, O-Lot, L-flow. In addition, mock-up tests were conducted to monitor concrete filling, hydration heat, compressive strength. From construction sites in Sang-am dong and University of Seo-kang, long-term behaviors could be effectively predicted in terms of ACI 209 material model considering elastic deformation, shrinkage and creep.

고리 1호기 ASME 펌프 가동중 시험주기 요건완화

  • 원자력발전소에서 사용하는 ASME 코드펌프는 관련법규 및 기술기준에 따라 주기적으로 가동중시험을 수행함으로써 펌프의 운전가능성(operability)을 확인하도록 되어 있으며, 이러한 내용이 최종안전성분석보고서의 기술지침서에 명시되어 있다. 고리 1호기의 경우, ASME Sec. XI의 관련 규정이 1979년 Winer Addenda에서 변경되어 이를 따를 경우 매 3개월마다 가동중 시험을 수행하면 되도록 되어 있으나, 이러한 사항이 기술지침서에 명시적으로 반영 되어있지 않아 현재까지 종전 규정에 따라 매월 가동중 시험을 수행하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 고리 1호기 ASME 펌프의 가동중 시험주기를 1개월에서 3개월로 완화시키기 위한 기술적인 근거를 확보하기 위하여 10 CFR 50, ASME 코드 Sec. XI 및 III등 관련 법규 및 기술기준과 고리 1호기를 비롯한 유사발전소의 기술지침서, 표준기술지침서 및 지침서 개선연구결과 등과 고리 1호기 현장에서의 시험기록을 조사하였다. 이러한 검토를 통하여 가동중 시험주기를 매 3개월마다로 완화하는 것이 타당하다는 결론을 얻었으며, 그 근거로는 법규 및 기술기준에의 적합성, 유사발전소 및 표준기술지침서에서의 적용 사례, NRC의 개선연구결과의 권고사항 및 현장시험기록자료의 안정성 등을 들 수 있다.

  • 본 글은 부산-김해간 경량전찰 건설공사의 기초설계시 현장타설말뚝 기초의 지지층을 모래자갈층으로 적용한 사례이다. 낙동강 유역은 퇴적층이 발달하여 풍화암 이상의 기반암층이 지표하 60~80m 이후에서 출현하며, 40m 이상의 심도에서 매우 조밀한 상태의 모래자갈층이 10-20m 두께로 분포하고 있어, 모래자갈층을 관통하여 기반암에 말뚝기초를 지지할 경우 기초공사에 상당한 기간이 소요될 뿐만 아니라, 시공성과 경제적인 측면에서 매우 불리하다. 이에 대한 개선방안으로 대구경 현장타설말뚝을 N치 50 이상의 조밀한 상태의 모래자갈층에 지지하였으며, 인근현장의 적용사례, 기초 구조물 안전성 검토 및 현장재하시험 등의 비교분석을 통하여 모래자갈 지지층의 적정성을 확인하였다. 따라서, 풍화암 이상의 지지지반 출현심도가 60m 이상으로 매우 깊고, 지지지반 상부에 모래자갈층이 두껍게 분포하는 경우에는 모래자갈층을 말뚝기초의 지지층으로 활용하는 방안이 시공성 및 경제성 측면에서 합리적이라 판단된다.

Fundamental Study on Improvement of Fire-Resistance and Field Application of Refractory Mortar of Tunnel Structures (터널의 내화성능 향상 및 내화모르타르 현장적용을 위한 기초 연구)

  • Tunnel structures are constructed even longer and more extensive these days than they were in the past. Because of this reason, breaking out a large scale of fire in tunnel structures is frequently. Recently, a noticeable event is reported that the temperature of inside of tunnel rises significantly when an oil car detonated in the tunnel and it reached 1,350$^{\circ}$C. It did damage to people who used the tunnel at that time and caused many demaged parts of tunnel to recover. To improve a fire resistance of tunnel, many methods are studied focused refractory concrete and mortar. This study deals with refractory mortar and is a part of initial basic step. In this study mechanical properties are considered before fire resistance test. As result of test for examination of mechanical properties, it is considered that a consistency and strength of refractory mortar in this study are suitable to construct.

Evaluation of Piezocone Factors for Soft Ground in the Region of Nakdong River Estuary Using Statistical Analysis (통계적 기법에 의한 낙동강하구 점성토 지반의 피에조콘 계수 산정)

  • Recently, the importance of investigation for soft ground has been raised, so that various techniques of the investigation for soft ground are being introduced and applied. In particular, Piezocone penetration test has been utilized frequently home and abroad to identify many features of grounds precisely and gain various results in accordance with dividing strata and depth constantly by measuring continuously. In this study, to identify some features of soft clays distributed in the estuary of Nakdong river, researchers conducted field tests and laboratory tests with boring tests, and analyzed and compared with Piezocone penetration test. In addition, credible Piezocone factor of communities of subjects for this study was estimated to analyze some features of undrained shear strength of clay and calculate Piezocone factor compared with corrected cone resistance and apply some statistical techniques to estimated Piezocone factor.

Performance Improvement of Thin Pavement Layer using Epoxy and Ceramics Composite Materials (에폭시와 세라믹스를 결합한 혼합물 이용 박층 포장공법의 성능개선)

  • Asphalt concrete pavements are susceptible to deformation and failure compared to cement concrete pavements. Epoxy is commonly used to enhance the bonding and durability of structures. Based on this concept, an epoxy and ceramics combined mixture was developed and applied to the field to estimate the pavement performance, Laboratory and field performance tests were conducted to observe the applicability of epoxy and ceramics composite materials compared to the conventional one. In this research, the epoxy and ceramics composite mixturewas used in two ways. 7 mm and 15 mm of thin surface layers using the mixture were constructed on cement and asphalt concrete pavements, respectively, after surface treatment. 12 months of field performance surveys were conducted to observe the resistances to the crack and deformation. According to the field performance tests, epoxy and ceramics combined mixture showed better bonding and field performances than the conventional one.

  • The continuous deployment of Urban Traffic Information System (UTIS) in Korea has increased the need for developing more practical applications utilizing the standard functions of UTIS facilities installed on urban arterials beyond its basic applications like gathering traffic data and providing traffic information. The UTIS-based bus signal priority may be one of UTIS-based applications meeting such demands. However, the studies on BSP have not been sufficient for actual field deployment in terms of theories and algorithms so that there have been few actual installations on real urban arterials. Thus, this study was aimed at developing a UTIS-based bus priority signal system and evaluating its effectiveness through a field study. To this end, this study presents the system development processes by dividing the UTIS-based bus priority signal system into hardware and software. In addition, the positive effectiveness of the UTIS-based bus priority signal system was verified through a field application test which was conducted at Gyeonggi Global Trade High School intersection.
