This study aims to analyze modern hairstyle and fashion in the collections in the late 1990s, based on the concepts and characteristics of Minimalism, a buzzword of the art field in the 1960s. This study used qualitative research method, in other words, presenting an analysis framework by studying domestic and foreign books and dissertations on Minimalism and then applying the Internet or visual image to the analysis framework. The result indicates that Minimalism design in modem hairstyle and fashion has four characteristics: simplicity, unity, repetition and spatiality.

In this paper I would like to examine critically technology in this age. In the first place, I discuss various dangerous aspects of contemporary technology. In the second and third section, I do research in Heidegger's and Ellul's philosophy of technique and appreciate them. Finally, as the result of it, I suppose the alternative perspective in social structure. This is my main intent.

Modern city doesn't have its own identity that differentiates itself from others despite the fact that each city has a historical value. This is due to the demolition of historical and regional values. As such problems are connected to urban problems, they become even more serious. Thus, the researchers of this study set Gyeongbokgung(Palace) as an object to look into landscape factors and found out the relations between psychological variables and preference. Then, the researchers analyzed the quantitative relations between the physical attributes of historic cultural landscape and human response. As such, the researchers aimed to set and propose a confirmed standard in terms of identity and regional & historical values of historic cultural landscape. Since this study was performed with an object of historic cultural landscape that was reproduced based on original landscape in the past, a future study should be on the difference in preference based on the proportion of modern landscape. Based on such studies, a new plan should be made for forming the urban historic cultural landscape.

최근 의생활에 있어서 가장 큰 변화는 쾌적성의 추구와 건강을 중심으로 한 기능성 소재에 대한 소비자들의 욕구가 증대된다는 것이다. 천연 섬유 중 모시는 통기성이 우수하고 감촉이 깔깔하여 고온 다습한 우리나라의 여름철 옷감으로 좋으므로 현대 의생활로의 도입이 요구되고 있다. 그동안 모시직물은 심미적인 욕구에도 잘 맞아 한국인의 정서에 좋은 이미지로 자리 잡고 있지만 수공예적 생산방식을 그대로 답습하고 있어 전통모시직물로는 많이 이용이 되어왔으나 현대 방적모시직물을 이용한 새로운 직물디자인 개발은 이루어지기 어려운 실정이었다. 그러나 최근 방적모시섬유에 대한 연구가 활발하게 진행되기 시작하면서 현대 방적모시직물의 생산이 가능하게 되었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 원사의 특성과 제조공정 특성에 의해 미세한 감성촉감의 차이를 유발하기 좋은 폴리에스터를 경사로하고 방적모시와 라이오셀을 위사로 하여 현대 모시직물의 개발을 시도하였다. 모시의 소비를 증가시키고 현대인의 감성에 맞게 심미성을 향상시킬 수 있도록 직물문양을 디자인하였다. 직물의 복잡한 문양을 컴퓨터로 디자인하고 자동으로 제직이 가능하게 하는 시스템인 EAT 프로그램을 이용하여 자카드 직물 특유의 고급스러움을 살리며 공정과정에서의 실의 밀림 등을 고려하며 조직을 설계하였다. 설계된 직물은 제직 후 염색 가공하여 쿠션, 방석, 테이블 러너 등의 시제품으로 제작하여 고부가가치 모시제품의 개발가능성을 살펴보았다.

현대 디자인 분야에는 건축이나 제품, 의복 등에까지 투명성이 디자인의 매우 중요한 요소로 활용되고 있다. 아름다우면서도 기능성과 견고함을 지닌 투명한 재료들이 과학기술의 발달에 힘입어 속속 개발되고 있으며, 또한 투명성 디자인은 현대 디자인의 트랜드인 즐거움과 유희 등을 표현하는 감성 트랜드와 잘 부합되기 때문이다. 본 연구는 이러한 시대의 흐름에 발맞추어 사용자들에게 재미와 즐거움의 가치를 감각적인 부분과 통합할 수 있는 디자인 개발에 목적을 두고, 20세기 후반부터 트랜드의 커다란 부분을 차지하고 있는 투명성을 좀 더 재미있고 여성스러운 감성을 자극할 수 있는 새로운 재해석의 방향을 찾아 패션 디자인을 제안하고자 한다. This paper historically sheds the new lights on the artistic worth and achievement of abstract animation in the animation genre, and presents the contemporary significance and importance of abstract animation through the study on the avant-garde characteristic and the works of abstract animation artist, including Mirai Mizue. Though abstract animation which is artists' experimental work dealing with speed and movement of image has an essential role for the development of modern visual culture and animation, it is losing meaning and value because of the commercialism and capitalism of digital contents industry. Therefore, this paper first presents that the study of experimental animation like abstract animation contributes to the diversification and improvement of digital contents industry then it discusses the effect on the contemporary digital contents industries, next analyze the historical development and comtemporary evolution of abstract animation, which is diversified from modernism to contemporary art, and finally discuss the experimental feature and expression of abstract animation.

In order to deeply understand the significance of death aesthetics in contemporary art, this research first summarizes the development process of death aesthetics in art works with popular perspectives, and then classifies and discusses death aesthetics in modern art works. The results of this study are as follows: First, the aesthetic expressions of death are divided into two types: death reproducibility and death symbolism. Death reproducibility includes reproducibility of real objects and reproducibility of imaginary objects. The symbolism of death can be divided into external and internal manifestations. Secondly, in contemporary art, the reproducibility of death through the description of death scenes has increased the various problems and philosophical significance caused by death. Third, in contemporary art, the symbolism meaning of death is not just something directly related to death, it also shows the various psychological states brought about by death. Subsequent research will promote the artists' visual expression of the aesthetics of death in artworks, and the profound changes in meaning that result from it.

Works recreated modernly succeeding classics often appear in novels, plays and movies. Observing 'modern succession and transfiguration of classics', 1 became curious about 'recreation of classics' in Sijo genre, and in that interest this thesis begins the argument. I identified that many Sijo are recreations of classics, and also classical literature are continually being transformed into modern Sijo. Especially Sijo of Lee Guang-Soo in 1920s and Sijo of Cho Un In 1940s are pioneering works. Thereafter modern Sijo have been continuously recreated from classics. This paper is about what are the meanings of modern Sijo in this category, and how should they advance. Also this argument will indicate how Sijo will be created in the future. Transforming classics into modern works is a valuable task, because it succeeds traditional culture and connects the classics' age to the modem age. For example, the Sijo of Lee Guang-Soo and Cho Un have significance in terms of literature history. The problem lies in modern Sijo that is creatively experimenting with classics succeeding those. Many modem Sijo are created attaching too much importance to the technique of contents, not comprehending the structural principles and formal aesthetics of Sijo. Thus, Sijo that adopt classics modernly reveals the limit of creation. Furthermore, recreating Sijo with the original contents untouched has no meaning at all. From this standpoint, modern Sijo recreated from classics can be reasonable only when they reflect the life, culture. and reality of present and comprehend the formal aesthetics of Sijo.

지구온난화와 같은 환경적 문제점들로 인해 에너지 저감 및 고효율의 기술개발을 통한 탄소 저감이 주목을 받고 있다. 시대적 관심과 요구에 발맞춰 에너지 저감 효과가 있는 영구자석동기 전동기 등의 신기술을 철도차량에 적용하려는 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. PMSM을 철도차량에 적용하기 위해 추진제어장치는 인버터 한 대가 한 대의 전동기를 제어하는 1C1M 방식이어야 하며, 유지보수성과 안정성을 확보하기 위해 전동기와 인버터 사이를 전기적으로 분리해줄 수 있는 차단기가 필요하다. 또한 에너지 저감과 고효율을 달성하기 위해서 추진제어장치는 소형, 경량화 구조로 개발 되어야 한다.
