As global competition is heating up and product life cycle has been rapidly shortened, each company pursues a variety of competitive technology innovations through different means of innovation. In this study, we assume that open innovation can be a shift motive of the technology innovation paradigm of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) being beyond the limitations of R&D within a company. We analyze the process and content of open innovation and performance. In addition, we identify the problems generated in the open innovation process and analyze the ways to strengthen open innovation. This study is based on the investigations into the technological competitiveness of local SMEs. The innovation ecosystem is analyzed from the perspective of product/service innovation, organizational innovation, and marketing innovation. Situational analysis is presented on the relationship between the innovation capabilities of information and communication technology SMEs and innovation performance.

This study aimed at examining the relationship among organizational learning competency, organizational commitment, protean career attitude, and organizational innovativeness as perceived by university faculties and staff as organizational innovation becomes a key challenge for universities to thrive for strengthening competitiveness. The analysis results are as follows. First, organizational learning capabilities showed a positive effect on organizational innovativeness. Second, organizational learning capabilities had a positive effect on organizational commitment. Third, organizational commitment had a positive effect on organizational innovativeness. Fourth, in the relationship between organizational learning competency and organizational innovativeness, organizational commitment showed a mediating effect and protean career attitude showed a moderating effect. Through this study, The results implies that universities should provide organizational environment to enhance organizational commitment of university faculties and develop protean career attitude thrive in changing environment.

오늘날의 기업들은 글로벌화 경쟁체제 속에서 생존을 위하여 여러 가지 경영혁신의 기법들을 사용하거나 활용하고 있다 이러한 새로운 경영혁신 기법들은 기존의 기업환경에 많은 변화를 주고 있다. 그러나 단순한 경영혁신의 도입만으로 기업이 효과적이며 효율적인 변화와 혁신이 이루어지리라는 기대를 해서는 안 된다. 혁신적이고 창의적인 경영혁신의 기법들은 기업의 필요욕구에 의한 자발적인 도입이 있어야 한다. 이는 경영혁신이 기업전체에서 이루어 져야 하며 더불어 기업내 조직구성원들의 적극적이며 긍정적인 사고와 경영자들의 강력한 리더십이 기반 되어야 한다는 것이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 기업의 최고 경영자들이 지니고 있는 여러 가지 리더십의 특성과 유형을 통하여 최근의 경영혁신의 화두로 대두되는 6시그마의 도입시 요구되는 리더십을 살펴보고자 한다. 또한 이를 바탕으로 요구되어진 6시그마의 리더십 관리가 어떻게 이루어져야 하는가에 중점을 두고 연구하고자 한다.

This paper examined the relationship between innovation and firm performance by integrating industry competitive context and firm-level knowledge constructs. After controlling for firm site, age, and the presence of a union, cross-section analysis of survey data from 1,419 medium sized manufacturing firms yielded following findings. The first was the expected positive relationship between firm-level innovation and firm knowledge and also industry dynamism, as measured by the intensity of industry-level R&D. This results indicate that industries with greater aggregate levels of R&D intensity are home to higher rates of firm-level innovative activity and managers must increase their numbers of technical staff and the level of training. But the interaction between firm knowledge and industry dynamism was non-significant. Second, innovation was not significantly related to firm performance, as measured by revenue growth. This relationship was not moderated by industry dynamism and firm level knowledge. In high and low technology sectors, the relationship between innovation and performance was non-significant, consistent with the full-sample analysis. The results suggest that the effects of firm-level knowledge assets and investments in training don't work in different ways in different industry settings. This research used three control variables to analyze innovation and firm performance. Firm age was negatively associated with firm performance and did not significantly predict innovation. Firm size was positively associated with innovation and performance in the low-technology sector. The presence of a labor union was not a significant with respect to innovation.

일본 대지진으로 인해 세계 경제의 불확실성이 높아가고 있는 가운데 최근 자동차 부품수출이 급증하면서 자동차 부품 산업이 새로운 성장동력 산업으로 부상하고 있다. 우리나라의 타이어 수출은 타이어업체의 해외 생산 확대에도 불구하고 증가하고 있으나, 국내 산업 분류상 타이어가 자동차부품으로 분류되지 않음으로써 관심을 끌지 못하고 있다. 국내 타이어산업은 지속적인 연구개발 투자에 힘입어 혁신역량을 강화하면서 글로벌산업으로 성장하였으며, 세계 시장 점유율을 확대하고 있다. 본고에서는 국내 자동차 부품산업의 수출 현황과 환경 변화 및 국내외 자동차 부품업체의 혁신 전략에 대해 살펴 본 후 불확실성시대의 국내 타이어산업의 혁신 역량 강화 전략을 제시해 보기로 한다.

네트워크 기술과 응용 서비스 및 단말 장비의 발전으로 인터넷 사용 환경이 다양한 모습으로 진화하고, 이로 인하여 다시 네트워크 혁신이 요구되는 순환이 이루어지고 있다. 네트워크 혁신 기술의 주요 흐름의 하나인 소프트웨어 정의 네트워킹(SDN)은 네트워크 인프라 기술을 개방하여 새로운 응용 서비스를 유연하게 지원할 수 있도록 하며, 산업계에서의 역할별 역학관계를 새롭게 형성하고 있다. 본 고는 SDN을 중심으로 네트워크 혁신을 위한 사업자 관점의 요구 사항, 기술 표준화와 개발 동향 및 향후 발전 방향을 고찰한다.

Recently policy coordination and integration have emerged as core challenges as complexity and uncertainty of policy. Especially as innovation and environment policy is expanding and its position is being further elevated within policy hierarchy, policy integration has emerged as core governance challenges for nation states. OECD countries emphasized the need of coordination and integration of policy by introducing concepts such as 'Environmental Policy Integration', 'the Third generation innovation policy', 'integrated innovation policy'. This study analysed the background, concepts, objects, mechanisms, and major issues of integrated innovation policy and various attempts for integrate innovation policy by policy level and cycle. Developing integrated innovation policies has become increasingly important for the EU and OECD countries in recent years. OECD countries including Finland have developed broader policy agendas for balancing policy objectives and aims of other policy sectors and horizontal relationships with other policy sectors. Policy integration helps to reorient policies where related policies are in conflict and to ensure coherence across different policy areas. Policy integration emphasizes long-term policy adjustment and adaptation based on social agreement and common vision.
