Study on the Acceptance and Continuous Use of New Seed of Chinese Cabbage (배추 신종자의 수용 및 지속적 사용의도에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the acceptance about new seed of Chinese cabbage and to analyze the factors affecting continuous use. Research model was derived based on the Technology Acceptance Model(TAM), the analysis was performed using Partial Least Squares(PLS). The factors significantly affecting the use of new seed of Chinese cabbage are innovativeness and seed promotion in antecedent variables and perceived usefulness in parameter variables, which have strong positive relationship among them. Therefore, efforts such as development and diffusion of high quality seed and securing a market for Chinese cabbage of new seed are necessary for improving perceived usefulness. Since these efforts including seed promotion can enhance the farmers' acceptance of new seed and reduce the risk that farmers would face in introducing new seed, these can also be very helpful in enhancing the farmers' innovativeness.

The Third Communication Channel in the Diffusion Process (확산과정에서의 세 번째 의사전달경로)

  • The Bass model assumes two communication channels: mass-media and word-of-mouth. In this paper, we call the mass-media Type I channel of communications. The word-of-mouth channel means interaction between non-adopters and adopters. Let us call it Type II channel of communications. In the real world, however, the non-adopters who are not aware of the innovation can be affected by communications with other non-adopters who are aware of it. Let us call it Type III channel of communications to differentiate with Type II channel. This paper analyzes the impact of Type III channel on diffusion process. The result shows that exponential growth patterns (for example, the adoption patterns of the blockbuster movies) can be observed when non-adopters are influenced by other non-adopters who aware of the innovation.

  • 정보화 사업에서 발생할 수 있는 위험(Risk)은 다양하다. 정보화 사업 관련 위험 요인 중 가장 대표적이고 보편적인 것은 발주 및 제안단계에서 발주자가 가진 요구사항의 불명확을 꼽을 수 있는데, 이로 인해 정보화 사업 수행 도중 요구범위 증가와 변경, 그리고 사업원가 구조의 악성화가 발생하게 됨은 자명하다. 그러나 안타까운 현실은 그 동안 우리나라 정보화 사업의 관행이 요구사항 불명확이라는 잠재적 위험 아래에서도 발주자와 사업자 간의 계약이 보호장치가 미흡한 확정가(firm fixed price) 방식으로 수립되어 왔다는 것이다. 확정가로 계약이 수립될 경우 사업자는 발주자의 요구사항 불명확으로 인해 파생된 원가 위험까지 불합리하게 책임져야 하는 고리에 묶이게 된다. 이러한 문제를 본질적으로 해결하는 한가지 방법은 발주자와 사업자간의 정보화 사업 획득 절차를 혁신하는 것인데, 본 논문은 이를 위해 가칭, 한국형 정보화 산업 활성화 획득 절차(KIPAP: Korea If Proliferation Acquisition Process)의 기본 개념을 고안하여 소개한다. 이 획득 절차는 정보화 사업이 내재하고 있는 요구사항의 불확실성을 계량화, 가시화하여, 그 정도에 따라 차등화된 계약방식의 선정방법 을 제시한다.

The Influence of Innovative Capacity on Regional Economic Performance (지역혁신역량이 지역경제 활성화에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aims to identify the factors that contribute to the regional innovative capacity and to analyze the effects on the regional economic development including newly-established corporation and job creation. The results are as follows. First, as a result of factor analysis, the 14 variables were grouped into 3 factors, i.e. innovative input, infrastructure, and linkage. Second, the panel models were developed using the above factor scores and economic performance variables such as the number of newly-established corporation and employees. As a result, innovative capacity factors positively contributed to the newlyestablished corporation and job creation. The innovative input was the most influential factor determining the regional economic performance, followed by linkage and infrastructure. This study suggests several policy implications for the reinforcement of innovative capacity and regional competitiveness.

  • Prior studies have reported equivocal patterns of the results about the relationships between family involvement and firm performance, particularly financial performance. In line with this research trend, this study focuses on non-financial performance that agency costs may marginally influence. tries to identify the relationship between nepotism and the three types of innovation performance, namely corporate entrepreneurship, radical innovation performance, and incremental innovation performance. The results has shown that family involvement is positively correlated with the three types of innovation performance.

  • This study analyzed the effect of workplace innovation on business performance and labor condition improvement. The study results showed that work process standardization and quality control positively affected business performance. Also, downsizing, reducing individual subcontract, expanding non-core business outsourcing positively affected both business performance and labor condition improvement. In addition, labor union's participation moderated the effect of work process innovation on business performance. This study provided implications for analyzing the effect of workplace innovation comprehensively and extending the scope of study to personal employee dimension.

  • The Oxford area is one of the major innovative regions of the world. The innovative characteristics of the area, however, have not been well exposed to the academic communities of the world and Korea. In fact, the area was a base of breading the Cambridge area and has also been playing important roles in creating the major British high-technology region, called "Golden Triangle," composed of Oxford, Cambridge and London. This paper investigates the process of growing innovativeness of the Oxford area and sheds more lights on the birth, growth and key actors of the area's Regional Innovation Systems(RISs). For this research, the author reviewed the literature related to the RISs, and gathered data based on the Internet, statistical data sources, interviews with local scholars and practitioners.

An Experimental Study on the Factors Influencing Purchasing Intention on the Internet (인터넷 상품 구매의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 실험연구)

  • 본 연구는 실물과 인터넷 구매의도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보기 위해 팩토리얼 디자인에 의한 실험설계에 의해 대학생 480을 대상으로 조사하였다. 주요 실험변수로는 소비자 특성(인터넷 사용량, 혁신성), 제품유형(탐색재/경험재), 가격할인폭, 상표였다. 그 결과 인터넷 다량사용자와 고혁신자 일수록, 경험재보다는 탐색재의 경우가, 가격할인폭이 클수록, 그리고 무명상표보다는 유명상표의 경우에 인터넷 구매의도가 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 전반적으로 실물구매의도가 인터넷 구매의도보다 높았으나, 인터넷 다량사용자와 고혁신자의 경우에 이 양자간에는 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았고, 가격 할인폭이 클 경우에는 제시했을 때는 실물구매의도보다 오히려 인터넷 구매의도가 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 인터넷 쇼핑을 확대하기 위한 시사점을 제시하였다.
