A Study on Developing Communication Courses to Enhance Undergraduates' Core Competence (대학생의 핵심역량 강화를 위한 커뮤니케이션 교과목 개발에 관한 연구)

  • Along with the development of advanced technology as well as the trend of becoming information society where all different cultures become convergent, communication competence is becoming one of the most important. Therefore, universities are making efforts to open and operate a related curriculum regarding communication competence as the most needed core competence in cultivating competitive men of ability. Accordingly, this study is going to suggest courses and detailed contents for developing communication courses to enhance undergraduates' core competence. The contents of communication subjects include the course outline, objectives, manner of lecturing, evaluation, weekly learning topics, learning objectives, and learning contents, and so on. This study will lay the ground for cultivating undergraduates' communication skills effectively and improving their core competence further to lead their college life soundly based on the understanding of communication. Also, this study will form a field of cultivating competent persons who can create social value through systematic education on communication competence which is the most emphasized as core competence that the members of universities or societies should be equipped with.

Analytic Study on the Effectiveness of Computational Thinking based STEAM Program (컴퓨팅 사고력 기반 융합인재교육 프로그램의 효과성 분석 연구)

  • A SW competency based on computational thinking is considered as one of the core competencies in the future society. However, the concept of computational thinking is difficult to be introduced to the class because of the lack of appropriate educational program and the shortage of proper understandings of students and teachers. Thus, we have applied computational thinking based STEAM program and analyzed its effectiveness to explore the educational possibilities of computational thinking. The 49 samples were selected, 23 for the experimental group, and 26 for the control group. Pre-post tests for integrated thinking abilities and computational thinking were done to explore the CT-STEAM program's effectiveness. As a result, the components of integrated thinking abilities, science preference and self-directed learning abilities were enhanced after CT-STEAM instruction. In addition, computational thinking assessment score was statistically significant. We expect new STEAM programs using various computing tools to be developed in the future.

  • ASPI가 발표한 국가 및 기관별 핵심 기술수준 분석 보고서에 따르면, 44개의 핵심기술 분야 중 대다수에서 중국이 선두를 차지하고 있다. 이러한 결과는 중국이 개방적이지 않은 권위주의 국가로의 글로벌 영향력 이동 가능성을 나타낸다. 본 논문은 '에너지와 환경' 분야의 8개 전략 기술에 초점을 맞추어, 한국의 과학기술 수준 및 핵심 연구자의 현황을 파악하고자 한다. 이를 위해 최근 5년간의 국가 R&D 정보를 수집하고, 과제, 정부투자연구비, 학위별 동향을 분석했다. 그 결과, 글로벌 핵심기술 경쟁에서 한국은 전략기술 분야에서 부족한 부분이 있음을 확인했다. 이러한 분석 정보는 과학기술 혁신 정책 수립과 핵심인재 양성 등에 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

  • Securing a well-trained workforce with skills and expertise is a prerequisite for the successful fostering of IT industry. Investment into human resources in a knowledge-based economy is more effective than material resources since a high quality IT workforce is recognized around the world as the key resource that decides the national competitiveness. This study examines the environments of IT industry that are ever-changing depending on technology trends such as new bases for IT technology and convergence, the concept of IT convergence. The concept and necessity of ideal talents of convergence are also addressed as the paradigm of IT industry is changing. Chapter 3 analyzes the governmental demand-oriented IT workforce training programs and supports for convergence IT workforce training centers conducted by the government as well as convergence workforce training programs. Chapter 4 analyzes, based on the survey, major factors that may affect the attempt to secure an efficient education system for convergence-oriented IT workforce training in reflection of corporate demands. Lastly, chapter 5 states the major findings and limitations of this study.

  • Key areas of digital contents, the games and animation industries are increasingly expanding. Therefore, training of a specialized workforce is required in accordance with these enterprises' growing demand. Education in the field of games and animation lies in cultivating talents with creative thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Thus, this paper aims to propose a PBSL teaching model for creative convergent talent through game and animation projects. The study will focus on the characteristics of creative convergence talents, project teaching, and related job competencies for game and animation education. Based on literature research, a 'Project Based Self Learning' instructional model is presented, in which creative thinking and collaboration competencies are explained in a way they can be performed by the learner. As a case study, D University's class was applied with PBSL. A survey showed that the autonomy aspects were higher than the creativity and convergence attitudes, indicating that the students improved their autonomy and motivation. However, the team composition needs further supplementation.

Performance Analysis of Korean Digital Key Practical Talent Training Program (한국형 디지털 핵심 실무인재양성훈련 프로그램의 성과 분석)

  • In this paper, the operation of the Korean digital key talent training project (K-Digital Training) supported by the Ministry of Labor in 2022 began in 2021, and through public offering in the second half of 2022, 403 training courses are held to secure 33,000 annual training personnel. Accordingly, because of performance analysis on learning satisfaction in each field of the state-led talent development program to respond quickly to future industrial changes by fostering digital talent, the overall satisfaction with the program was very high at 4.27 on average. However, the initial expectation for employment linkage is decreasing from 4.2 to 3.91 at the end of learning. Therefore, it is expected that the satisfaction level of the program can be continuously improved only when the organizations participating in the program are prepared in advance for employment linkage

  • The number of professionals in the science and engineering fields decreases all over the world. Especially in Korea, the declining rate of both the laborable and economically active population, aging of the population at the fastest level, and the declining birth rate make it tougher to secure the core brains of the future. After speculation of all programs above, some common factors have been derived and every program appeared to have the support for each level of inducing, caring, and utilizing. And the means of support could be categorized into the financial, legal, and social aspects. Lastly, a logical tool called Systems Thinking has been applied to the FLS Conditions and the Brain Internalization Process to assure the efficacy and applicability of the models. This is to minimize any de facto side effects by analyzing all 'feedback loops' stemming from the models. And the 'causal loop diagrams' have been utilized to come with the complementary measures. Such series of verification could convince the virtue of the models. Governments and universities can make use of the FLS Conditions and the Brain Internalization Process so the policies or plans about the foreign brains can be built in a uniformized and consistent framework. I hope, as a result, the international competency of Korea to induce and utilize the foreign brains be raised with the constant and standardized formality.

  • 세계경제 포럼(World Economic Forum)에서 발표한 '교육의 새로운 비전(New Vision for Education)'은 '인재야말로 21세기 혁신, 경쟁력, 성장을 이끄는 핵심 요소'라고 하였다. 이처럼 인재의 중요성이 더욱 강조되고 있는 상황에서 본 연구는 4차 산업혁명 시대에 맞는 R&D 인력 육성을 위해 기업가역량을 중심으로 위험을 감수하고 포착된 새로운 기회를 실현하는 도전정신을 가진 기업가 육성을 위한 방안을 고민해 보고자한다. 다시 말해 4차 산업혁명 시대는 지금까지의 문제 해결중심의 창업, 교육과정과는 다른 문제를 정확히 인식하고 미래변화에 인내를 가지고 유연하게 대처하는 능력의 인재 육성이 필요하다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 신입 R&D 인력 대상으로 현재 기업가역량을 평가하고 부족한 역량에 대해서는 보다 개선/강화할 수 있는 방안을 제안한다.

Policy Alternatives Research on SME's R&D Personnel Acquisition and Retention (중소기업 연구개발 인재의 확보 및 유지 중심 정책방안)

  • This research aimed to propose policy alternatives on acquisition and retention of SME's R&D personnel through the analysis of the status and problems of SME's R&D personnel. As research methods, literature review, survey analysis, domestic and foreign R&D personnel support system and practices benchmarking, human capital corporate panel (HCCP) and integrated survey DB material analysis, and case investigation by interview were used. The occupational status and problems of SME R&D personnel concerned on the corporate size, HRM practices on satisfaction and HRD problems, talent personnel management and training system status, the core talent management system and R&D personnel management system, and its complaints were organized. As conclusion, we have proposed alternatives on acquisition and retention of R&D personnel focused on the talent management. Suggestions were such as supports on R&D personnel management system and its dissemination, systematic career development programs, and excellency promotion on SME's and R&D talent personnel.

중소기업의 슈퍼리더십이 경영성과에 미치는 영향 연구

  • 신기술의 발전에 대한 예측이 어려운 상황에서 가속력을 가지고 급변하는 경영환경은 새로움을 요구하고 있다. 그 새로움을 누가 어떻게 찾아 실행하는가가 기업의 경쟁력이 된다. 기업들의 경쟁력 강화를 위한 핵심적인 과제는 통제가 아닌 자율권을 부여함으로써 미래를 예측하고 능동적으로 대처하여 창의적인 역량과 능력을 갖춘 인재를 양성하고 관리 하는 것이며 이와 연결되는 개념이 슈퍼리더십이다. 지금 우리의 사회는 첨단 산업과 관련된 4차 산업혁명의 물결과 패러다임의 변화로 인해 창의성과 스피드 경영이 절실하다. 정형화된 환경이 아닌 위험과 도전이 공존하는 시간이다. 기업은 인재관리를 위한 노력과 그들이 현시대에 맞는 리더십을 갖추어 도전할 기회를 마련해 주어야 한다. 특히 새로운 혁명적인 기술이 출현 되고 기존의 기술이 고도화 및 극대화되는 산업 중심 시대에 구성원들의 잠재 능력을 배양해 기업이 경쟁 우위를 확보하고 최고의 경영성과 창출을 위해 슈퍼리더십의 필요성을 강조하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 중소기업의 슈퍼리더십이 경영성과에 미치는 영향관계를 실증 분석하였다. 연구결과 기업이 지속할 수 있는 경영성과를 창출하기 위해서는 리더십을 개발하고 그에 맞는 인재를 육성하는데 더 많은 투자를 해야 한다. 지금과 같은 무한 경쟁시대에 기업이 지속가능한 성장과 더불어 생존하기 위해서는 조직구성원의 역량 극대화에 노력하고 그들이 몰입하게 하는 강력한 슈퍼리더십 구축이 절실하다고 판단된다.
