A Study on the Method of Cost Estimation for the Decommissioning Plan by the Analysis of Domestic Cyclotron Dismantling Practices (국내 사이클로트론 해체 사례 분석을 통한 해체 계획 비용 산정 방법 연구)

  • Decommission of medical cyclotron give rise to a lot of low-level radioactive waste and costs. Decommissioning cost should be reasonably calculated according to the decommissioning activities and installed components of facilities. In this paper, we investigated the experience on the cyclotron relocation from SNUH(Seoul National University Hospital) to SKKU(Sungkyunkwan University) and analyzed radioactive waste management costs by applying the disposal scenarios. Also considerations for decommissioning cost estimation are reviewed. The results could be utilized as a basic data for establishment on the methodology of decommissioning cost estimation and evaluation.

  • Korea Research Reactor (KRR) 1&2 has shut down and through preparatory activities, its decommissioning activities are underway. As its decommissioning activities have been done over several years, its relevant data have been spreaded with various type and media all over the discrete place and inadvertently managed, As a result, managing and assessing data of KRR 1&2 has been difficult and complex and its data cannot be evaluated. By developing the decommissioning database system of KRR 1&2 the data of decommissioning activities can be correctly evaluated, being systematically managed and objectively assessed. Finally, the decommissioning project of KRR 1&2 have come to more effectively accomplished. As the data of decommissioning activities can be at last systematically analyzed and objectively assessed, the decommissioning project of KRR 1&2 would be more effectively accomplished.

  • The licensees are to submit the decommissioning plan to regulatory body to decommission nuclear facilities. The standard review plan(SRP) of decommissioning is used to confirm and evaluate the decommissioning plan by the related regulations and standards. The licensees who want to decommission the nuclear facilities are required to submit the decommissioning plan according to Acts 31 of Atomic Energy Law. In this study, the items of reports and documents submitting to regulatory body were reviewed deliberately, and finally the major sub-items of decommissioning plan were established.

  • The demolition works of high building in korea are expecting to increase rapidly in the near future, and its general demolition methods can be divided into mechanical demolition method and explosive demolition method. The selection of the right demolition method relies on many variable elements according to environmental and geographical elements. But, generally, the most important element of those is a economical profit. Accordingly, This study estimates each demolition cost dividing into mechanical demolition method and explosive demolition method of high building in city. And the estimating of the demolition cost makes it possible to do comparative analysis for the economical efficiency of each method more objectively than any other selective elements. Also, the analysis for the economical efficiency helps to forecast the activated time of the explosive demolition method in domestic.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze how the participating companies related to asbestos dismantling affect the safety of residents near asbestos dismantling worksites, and to present important criteria for selecting asbestos dismantling related companies based on the analysis results. Method: In this study, based on the Occupational Safety and Health Act and the Asbestos Safety Management Act, important items about participating companies related to asbestos dismantling and the safety of residents near the asbestos dismantling workshop were derived, and then questionnaire items were determined through FGI. Multiple regression analysis was performed to analyze the influence relationship. Result: In order to secure the safety around the asbestos dismantling site, it was confirmed that the ability of asbestos dismantling supervisors among the participating companies (dismantling companies, investigation agencies, and supervisors) had the greatest influence. Conclusion: It showed that it is essential to select an excellent asbestos dismantling supervisor and an excellent asbestos dismantling and removal company in order to ensure the safety of residents near the asbestos dismantling site.

  • 본 기사에서는 재래식 해체공법에 비해 보다 안전하고 신속하며, 경제적인 폭파해체공법을 간략하게 소개하였다. 폭파해체공법은 구조역학적인 기술과 화약기술을 종합한 매우 정교한 제어해체 기술로써 앞으로 발생되는 해체, 철거공사에 많이 이용될 것으로 예상된다.

  • 해체 활동 시작 단계에서부터 최종처리까지 발생되는 일련의 모든 자료를 체계적이고 과학적으로 관리할 수 있는 해체 DB structure를 구축하기 위하여 해체 정보 전략 계획을 수립하였고, 해체 DB 정보 영역을 분류하여 세부항목을 도출하였으며, 시스템 개발 도구 및 운영환경을 설정하였다. 자료흐름도(DFD)와 개체 관계도(ERD)를 이용하여 해체 자료 구조를 최적화하였고, Prototype 과정을 거쳐 해체 자료가 체계적으로 저장 관리 될 수 있도록 프로그램을 개발 하였다. 현재(2001년6월부터 2003년12월)까지 연구로 해체활동을 통해 발생한 해체 현장 자료를 이용하여 해체 DB 시스템을 시험한 결과 무작위로 데이터를 추출하여 집계한 결과와 잘 일치하고 있음을 확인하였다.

  • 원자력시설의 해체 계획을 수립하는데 해체 대상 시설의 성격을 조사하고 파악하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 해체 대상 원자력시설의 특성자료 조사 결과는 해체 페기물의 양을 예측하고, 해체 사업의 비용 산정에 크게 활용이 된다. 이를 목적으로 해체사업 대상 시설의 특성 자료를 관리하는 컴퓨터 시스템인 해체시설 특성 관리시스템, DEFACS (${\underline{DE}}commissioning$ ${\underline{FA}}cility$ ${\underline{C}}haracterization$ DB ${\underline{S}}ystem$)를 개발하였다.

  • 본 논문은 3차원 ELS 모델과 건설 프로젝트 관리 프로그램을 이용한 해체 공정을 기계식공법으로 해체하는 구조물에 적용한 사례이다. 해체 공정 설계를 위한 3차원 ELS 모델은 도면 및 현장 조사 통해 부재별 크기와 배근 정보를 확인하여 모델링하였다. 완성된 3차원 모델을 건설 프로젝트 관리 프로그램인 Bexel manager에 적용하여 부재 별 해체 공정을 설계하였다. 설계된 해체 공정은 기계식공법으로 해체하는 구조물에 적용하였고, 해체결과 작업 별 작업동선을 효과적으로 관리할 수 있었으며, 안전하게 해체를 완료하였다.

  • ISP (Information Strategy Planning), which is the first step of the whole database development has been studied to manage effectively information and data related to the decommissioning activities of the Korea Research Reactor 1&2(KRR-1&2). In order to establish the scope of the decommissioning DB, user requirement and the importance of the decommissioning information were analyzed and set up the conceptual design of the decommissioning DB and established the classification system related to decommissioning activities. It has been extracted the principle information such as working information facilities information, radioactive waste treatment information and radiological surveying and analysis during the interviewing with an experts. And also, It has been made the code system. These results will be used as the basic data to design the prototyping for the decommissioning DB.
