4차 산업혁명시대가 도래함에 따라 해운항만기업에서 4차 산업혁명을 주도하는 ICT를 활용하기 위한 노력이 다양하게 전개되고 있다. 특히 해운항만물류분야에서는 IoT센서가 만들어내는 다양한 데이터를 분석하여 도출된 인사이트를 기반으로 업무효율성을 높이고자 빅데이터분석 기법을 적용하기 시작하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 해운항만기업들 중 빅데이터분석을 도입해서 활용하고 있거나, 빅데이터를 업무에 활용하기 위해 도입의도를 가지고 있는 기업의 종사자들을 대상으로 어떤 요인들이 빅데이터 사용의도를 높여주는 지에 대하여 실증분석.

우리나라 해운 항만 물류기업의 국제물류 서비스 향상 및 글로벌 경쟁력 강화를 위한 방안 가운데 하나는 해외 현지 물류네크워크 구축이며 이를 통해 고객이 원하는 물류서비스 제공 및 글로벌 시장 내 경쟁력 확보 차원에서 필수적이다. 그러나 아직까지 필리핀 물류시장에 대한 우리나라의 해운 항만 물류기업 진출 및 투자 지원에 관한 체계적인 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 인도에 진출하는 우리나라 화주기업 및 물류기업의 물류 애로사항 해소 지원, 해운 물류기업의 경쟁력 강화 등 정부차원의 다양한 정책과 지원 사업에 관한 연구가 필요하다. 이에 본 연구는 필리핀 항만물류시장의 현황을 분석한 후 향후 우리나라 해운 항만 물류기업들이 물류 네트워크 구축 방안을 수립하는데 있어 투자대상 시설 및 투자 유망지역 등 다양한 정보를 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 필리핀 물류시장을 면밀히 파악하는 것뿐만 아니라 필리핀 경제, 인프라 현황, 기업 분포 등 다양한 지표 분석을 통해 물류서비스 경쟁력 제고에 기여할 수 있는 투자 유망지역을 제시하였다.

Nowadays, there is increasing demand for a training program to transfer advanced knowledge of shipping and port logistics with the investments in overseas shipping and port market. A current training program in the field of shipping and port logistics has a short-term achievement, but domestic logistics companies do not utilize the training program to penetrate into the overseas market. Therefore, this paper investigates domestics logistics companies' overseas business activities, and current operation and problems of a training program. In addition, this paper presents how to utilize a training program for domestics shipping and port logistics companies to penetrate successfully into the overseas market.

Since ports play a role of gateway to the sea and hinterlands, it is essential to analyse the networks of shipping and inland when evaluating the function and development of a port. The container port of Gwangyang, starting to operate its facilities in 1998, has developed itself as a hub port. Using the data of shipping schedules of Korean ports and the measurement of centrality in sociology, this study analyses the process of world-wide shipping network expansion in Gwangyang and concludes some implications including earlier development of shipping networks due to incentives to shipping companies. Although Gwangyang port also has been expanding its inland network through developing trucking, railway transport, and coastal shipping, it has weakness in inland network as in the cases of interruption in 2004, resumption in 2009 and re-interruption in 2012 at coastal shipping. In 2000s the expansion of shipping and inland networks at the newly built container ports such as Pyungtaek, Ulsan, and Gunsan has enticed the competition among Korean ports at each hinterland. Nevertheless, the operation of Gwangyang container port is considered to affect indirectly the relocation of some manufacturers including Samsung Electronics. Studies on interrelation between development of container port and geographical demography of manufacturers are needed to assess the effects of container port on regional economy.

한미 FTA 타결은 수출에 큰 도움이 될 것으로 전망되고 있다. 세계 1위의 경제 대국 미국과의 자유무역협정(FTA)이 타결됨으로써 우리나라는 개국에 버금가는 엄청난 변화를 맞게 될 것으로 예상된다. 지난 19세기말 강화도 조약으로 조선이 개화기를 맞았듯이 이번 FTA 타결로 우리는 개방경제의 닻을 본격 올리게 되었다. 특히 중국과 일본에 끼어 샌드위치 신세를 면치 못하던 우리가 모처럼 새 성장 동력을 얻어 동북아 지역에서 기선을 잡는 계기를 마련한 것으로 평가되고 있다. 해운 및 항만의 경우 양국간 교역량 증가로 해운 및 항만에 긍정적인 영향을 가져다 줄 것으로 분석되고 있다. 다음은 한미 FTA 체결에 따른 부문별 파급여파와 변화 등을 요약정리한 것이다.

The mutual risk management in port is really important for operating the enterprise between container terminals who provide port service and shipping liners who use the port service. This study is performed to contribute to obtain the competitive power of domestic shipping and harbor industry by getting solution of mutual risk management which can make Win-Win strategy on each other as an alternative idea. We suggested two kinds of management models to promote common benefits between container terminals and shipping liners. It is necessary to push positive support and cooperation from government and belonging related organizations for activating the Gwangyang port. In this study, we presented the efficient method to manage mutual risks between container terminals and shipping liners.

Transportation decisions of ship liners are crucial for policy formulation in ports and shipping lines. Ship liners' port selection depends on the location characteristic of port. With network theory based, we empirically investigated determinants of global ship liners' port selection focused on major trade ports in China and Korea during 1995-2007. We present a detailed discussion on the related literatures about port selection, and develop hypothesis using network-based view. With conditional logit model, empirical results show that global liners select globally positioned ports rather than domestic oriented ones. Global ship liners select ports which have intra national network centrality, global ship network centrality and global network linkage.
