갯닦기 전후 제주도 인공어초의 해조상 및 수심별 감태의 생장양상 (Marine Algal Assemblages on Artifical Reefs in Jeju-do Before and After Rocky Cleaning and the Growth Pattern of Ecklonia cava with Water Depth)

  • Marine algal assemblages on the artificial reefs at three stations (Haengwon, Geumneung, Pyoseon in Jeju-do) and the growth pattern of Ecklonia cava with water depth were studied before and after rocky cleaning. Nine algal species occurred at three artificial reefs before rocky cleaning in July 2012, however, 19 algal species were found at three artificial reefs after rocky cleaning in July 2013. In particular, 13 of 19 species in 2013 were replaced by different species which were not found in July 2012. Algal biomass rapidly increased in July 2013 after rocky cleaning. The nMDS plot based on the presence and absence data of macro-algal assemblages on the artificial reefs showed that the species compositions between artificial reefs were similar to each other before rocky cleaning operations in July of 2012. However, after rocky cleaning, the species composition of macro-algal assemblages in Haengwon region was similar to that in Pyoseon region while that in Geumneung region was different to those in Haengwon and Pyseon regions in July 2013. It is needed to clarify the suitable water depth for transplantation of perennial Phaeophyta E. cava. According to the data on seasonal changes in total length, total weight, blade length, blade width, blade weight of E. cava, it began to grow rapidly from April and reached to the maximum value in June, and then degeneration of the blade occurred in July and continued to early August. Although the total length of E. cava at 10m water depth was larger than those at 5 m and 15 m water depths, there was no significant difference statistically among water depths by ANOVA test. However, in the values of total weight, blade length, blade width, and blade weight, the growth patterns at 5 m water depth were larger than those at 10 m and 15 m. Thus, it is assumed that the most suitable water depth for transplantation and its maximum growth and effective release of zoospores of E. cava will be 7~10 m water depth.

  • 제주도 북제주군 구좌읍 동복리 연안에 설지된 정치망 어장의 각망어구 입구에 수중 비디오 카메라를 설치하여 입구로부터 입망하는 어군의 입망시간 및 입 출망행동과 어군의 유영속도, 그리고 어장주변의 유향, 유속을 조사한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 자리돔, 날지, 전갱이, 고등어, 숭어어군은 07시부터 14시 사이에 입망되는 것을 확인하였다. 2. 어군의 입망시간과 조석과의 관계는 자리돔은 조류가 약한 전류시이고, 전갱이는 고조시와 저조시 중간의 조류가 빠른 낙조시에 주로 입망하는 경향이었다. 3. 각망에 입망한 어종별 어군의 출망비율은 숭어가 100%로 가장 컸으며 다음이 고등어 50%, 날치 45%, 자리돔 13%, 전갱이 0% 순이었다. 4. 어류의 유영속도는 자리돔 5~25cm/sec범위로서, 10~15cm/sec가 55%, 날치 20~5Ocm/sec의 범위로서, 30~35cm/sec가 30%, 전갱이 15~45cm/sec의 범위로서, 30~40cm/sec범위가 60%, 고등어 10~30cm/sec의 범위로서, 15~20cm/sec가 60%로서 가장 많은 비율을 나타냈다.

수, 해운 승선계열 대학생의 의식 구조 (The structure of consciousness of board system collegian who attended in fisheries and maritime college)

  • I have investigated questionaire concerning to the view of worth and construction of consciousness as to boarding system collegian who will employed in fisheries and maritime industries. The results were as follows; It appeared 38.9% that most collegian had a firm subjectivity about enrolled motive, selection of department, they had selected department according to the neighborhood recommendation, own squired score rather than the adaption and prospection, also it was appeared 55% that they had not satisfied with attending to their college, accordingly, the effectiveness of education were demolished in such aspects. It was appeared 74.3% that the education of fisheries and maritime college were divided into theory and practice pertinently also, 77.1% that modulate both technical education and human like education but as a general rule, the education of ocean going liscensed officer was appeared 7.1% only so that, the reformation of the curriculum and contents of education would be needed. As to the relation between professors and collegian, it was appeared 38.4% that well understanding professor, 18.1% that well teaching professor, 13.3% that they having humanlish relation with professor, 30.6% that they will benefit to vocational selection. consequently, the professor have to brings up the harmony on dint of education and industries. The things which collegian think to be worth were 43.6%, intercourse of friend 30.3%, circle activity. 6.6% listening lecture, also, the leisure activity after school were 74.7% with friends. 16.4% alone. consequently, the professor has to guide of leisure activity after lesson. most collegian has a good relationship with their parent(91.6%) but the respond with bad relationship was 8.4%. The most serious agony which collegian think about is vocational problems (48.9%), the other sex problem(22.5%). The objects consult with agony was aquaintance(54.9%). The parent(5.1%), professors(2.3%), the collegian who did not consult with agony was 20.9%. The parents and the professor is not object consult with their agony. so that, the professors has to strengthen the education according to the human nature. As to job after graduation of such college, collegian who wish to be taken job on the fisheries and maritime industry were 50.5%, on the contrary, the collegian who wish to be taken a job no relation with his major subjects was 29.1% especially, the collegian who want to be embarked was 26.3% (fisheries 23.3%, maritime 30.5%). so that, we must adopt the counter plan for the globalization and effective investment on the fisheries and maritime college.

동자개(Pseudobagrus fulvidraco)의 생식소 퇴화에 미치는 수온과 광주기의 영향 (Effect of Water Temperatures and Photoperiods on Gondal Degeneracy in Banded Catfish Pseudobagrus fulvidraco)

  • To investigate the role of temperatures and photoperiods as environmental cues regulating reproductive rhythm in Pseudobagrus fulvidraco, rearing experiments were conducted using sveral rearing regimes conbined with photoperiods and water temperatures during gonadal degeneration periods. Gonadosomatic index (GSI) in control was $8.16{\pm}1.50%$, while in other experiment GSI levels in female were lower than that in the control. In case of experimental precinct of 9 light (L) and 15 L, GSI levels were decreased. But GSI level with $20^{\circ}C$ was no diffrence after 40 and 60 days. GSI level in male of control was $0.35{\pm}0.05%$. GSI under 9 L and $25^{\circ}C$ was similar to that in control, whereas its level in other experiments was lower than that in control. Testosterone (T) of female was $3.68{\pm}0.22$ ng/mL at experimental precinct. In case of 9 L and 15 L, concentration of T were lower than experimental precinct in all of water temperature. Estradiol-$17{\beta}$ ($E_2$) and $7{\alpha}$, $20{\beta}$-dihydroxy-4-pregnen-3-one ($17{\alpha}20{\beta}OHP$) levels of female were $0.42{\pm}0.02$ and $0.83{\pm}0.01$ ng/mL at experimental precinct. $E_2$ levels of 9 and 15 L were higher than experimental precinct and $17{\alpha}20{\beta}OHP$ levels of 9 and 15 L were higher than experimental precinct. In case of T and 11-ketotestosterone levels were $0.69{\pm}0.11$ and $.62{\pm}0.03$ ng/mL in male. During the period of gonadal degeneration, gonadal maturation did not occur in any of the experimental regimes. However, comparatively high levels of $E_2$ observed at low temperature regimes ($20^{\circ}C$) regardless of photoperiods.

수협 재해 보험급여를 이용한 근해안강망 어선원의 안전 위험 요소 평가 (Hazard Factors Assessment for the Fishermen's Safety on the Vessel of Offshore Stow Nets on Anchor using Insurance Proceeds Payment of NFFC)

  • The stow net is a stationary gear made from netting, usually in shape like trawl net without wings. The nets are fixed by means of anchors, placed according to the direction and strength of the current. And the commercial fishing is associated with high rate of fatal and non-fatal occupational injury. The hazard factors analysis for the fishermen's safety of offshore stow nets vessel was conducted to serve as a basic data for improving the healthy and safe working environment of fishermen using fishermen's occupational accidents of the national federation of fisheries cooperatives (NFFC) from 2012 to 2014 (n=1,144). As a result, the average occupational accident occurrence rate of this fishery was 206.9‰ in all industries 36.9 times the rate of that. In addition, average death and missing rate was found to have a very serious level management to 50.4‰ in all industries of death of 42.0 times. The accident occurred in 84.5 to 94.6% was happened at sea. The struck by object, slipping, contact with machinery, contact by object or gear and others occurred more frequently in order on the frequency of accident occurrence pattern. However, the occurrence rate of death and missing did not match the frequency of accident pattern. In other words, slipping occurred frequently higher while death and missing risk was not high. And the contact with fishing gear and fall in the waters was low while death and missing risk was high. The results are expected to contribute for identification and assessment of safety hazard occurred in offshore stow nets vessel.

육상 다단식 사육시스템을 이용한 어린 돌기해삼(Apostichopus japonicus)의 수용밀도에 따른 성장과 생존 (Effects of Stocking Density on Growth and Survival of Sea Cucumber, Apostichopus japonicus in the Indoor Multiple Tank)

  • 12주 동안 육상 다단식 사육시스템을 이용하여 어린 돌기해삼의 성장, 생존율 및 적정 수용밀도를 알아보고자 하였다. 10 L 사육수조에 습중량 4.3~4.5 g의 어린 돌기해삼을 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 및 10마리씩 수용하여(각각 D1, D2, D3, D4, D5, D10으로 표기) 수용밀도별로 10단씩 쌓아 실험을 하였다. 체중성장과 생존율은 매 4주마다 조사하였다. 어린 돌기해삼의 수용밀도에 따른 성장은 수용밀도가 낮을수록 빠른 경향을 보였으며, 개시기부터 사육 8주까지는 수용밀도에 따른 성장의 유의한 차이는 없었다(P>0.05). 사육 12주째는 D1~D5 실험구간에는 유의한 차이가 없었으나(P>0.05), D1과 D10간에는 유의한 차이를 보였다(P<0.05). 생존율은 모든 실험구에서 12주째 72~100%로 수용밀도 D1~D5 실험구간에는 유의한 차이가 없었으나(P>0.05), D1~D5와 D10 실험구와는 차이를 보였다(P<0.05). 따라서 육상 다단식 사육시스템을 이용한 어린 돌기해삼의 적정수용밀도는 성장과 생존율을 고려할 때 0.05마리/$m^2$ 이내로 판단된다.

복합 생약재 열수추출물 투여에 따른 넙치 세균성 질병에 대한 질병저항성 (Disease Resistance against Bacterial Infection on Treatment of Hot-water Extract with 6 Herbal Mixtures in Olive Flounder Paralichthys olivaceus)

  • 복합 생약재 열수추출물(6종 혼합)을 농도별 기간별로 사료에 흡습시켜 12주 동안 넙치에 급여 후 비특이적 면역 및 질병저항성에 대한 효과를 조사하였다. 복합 생약재 열수추출물의 첨가는 어류 성장에는 아무런 영향을 미치지 않았으며 혈액생화학적인, 결과도 넙치의 생리에는 아무런 영향을 미치지 않았다. 라이소자임 활성은 0.01%의 복합 생약재 열수추출물 농도로 흡습시킨 사료 그룹에서 라이소자임 활성이 증가됨을 알 수 있었다. 복합 생약재 열수추출물의 투여에 따른 넙치 장기의 병리조직에 영향이 없음을 알 수 있었다. 에드와드균의 인위감염에 의한 질병저항성은 0.01% 복합 생약재 열수추출물 농도에서 상대생존율이 높게 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 종합하여 볼 때 넙치에 복합 생약재 열수추출물을 투여시에는 어류의 비특이적 면역력 증강 및 질병 저항성 증강을 나타내는 것으로 사료되었다.

지구과학 해양 단원의 웹 기반 학습자료 개발 및 효과 분석 (The Development of Web Based Instruction Program on Oceanography Unit and the Analysis of Its Effects in Earth Science Class)

  • 본 연구에서는 고등학교 지구과학의 해양 단원에 대한 웹 기반 학습 자료를 개발하고 개발한 웹 자료를 운영하여 그 효과를 밝혔다. 웹 기반 학습 자료로 학습한 두 학급과 동일한 내용의 모듈 학습지로 학습한 두 학급의 과학 성취도, 과학 태도 점수를 비교하였고 웹기반 학습 반의 WBI 평가 설문 결과를 분석하였다. 학업 성취도에서 웹 기반 학습의 주 효과가 나타났으나 수업처치와 학습능력 수준 사이의 상호작용 효과는 없었다. 전체 과학 성취도에서 웹 집단이 모듈 집단보다 높게 나타났으며 상위 수준 학습자와 하위 수준 학습자 모두 웹 집단이 모듈 집단보다 전체 성취도가 높게 나타났다. 과학에 대한 태도면에서 웹 학습이 모듈 학습보다 긍정적인 효과를 미친 것으로 나타났으며 과학적 탐구에 대한 태도, 과학적 태도의 적용, 과학 수업의 즐거움 등 세 가지 하위 범주별로는 과학적 탐구에 대한 태도 범주에서 수업처치의 주 효과가 있었으나 수업처치와 학습능력 수준과의 상호작용 효과는 없었다. 웹 기반 학습에 대한 학습자들의 평가결과를 보면 문자의 크기와 모양, 제시된 정보의 양, 중요한 내용을 강조하는 시각적 효과 등 화면 구성에 대하여 긍정적인 평가를 하였다. 또한 지시와 도움말의 역할이나 동화상이나 애니메이션 등 멀티미디어 효소에 대해서도 학습내용에 적합하게 설계된 것으로 평가하였다. 반면에 관련 내용의 학습 후 이전의 분기점으로 되돌아가는 경로선택의 문제, 현재 어느 부분을 학습하는지 학습 위치 파악의 문제 등 사용 편의성 측면에서는 일부 부정적인 반응이 나타났다.

각국 제안서에 따른 WTO/DDA 수산보조금 대응 방안 (Proposal's analysis of major fishing countries and Countermeasures under WTO/DDA)

  • The WTO/DDA Negotiation on the Fisheries Subsidies started by DDA(Doha Development Agenda : 2001.11)at early 2002 has been held about 20 times until the fist half of 2005. The Negotiation will be terminated until the end of 2005 but now, it is impossible to predict the exact conclusion of the Negotiation. There is a sharp conflict of opinion on the WTO/DDA Negotiation on the Fisheries Subsidies between FFG(Fish Friends Groups : USA, New Zealand etc) and Anti-FFG(Rep. Korea, Japan etc). The Fisheries Subsidies is regulated by the WTO/DDA Negotiation that regulates on the subsidies of industrial products, fisheries products, forest products. Considering the progress of the WTO/DDA Negotiation on the Fisheries Subsidies, Guidelines for the Fisheries Subsidies Negotiation were established in Doha Ministerial Declaration at 2001 and a necessity of a special regulation on the Fisheries Subsidies has been discussed from 2002 to 2004. After june, 2004, the Negotiation was proceeding as Rep. Korea, Japan and Taiwan agreed with discussing a special regulation on the Fisheries Subsidies and At 1st, August, 2004, they reached an agreement on a necessity of a special regulation on the Fisheries Subsidies. At Feb, 2005, discussion was suspended because of presenting the joint proposal from 3 countries(Rep. Korea, Japan and Taiwan) and now discussion on the Fisheries Subsidies is giving the first consideration to classification of prohibited/non-actionable subsidies, S&D of a developing countries, small fisheries, problems of farming, grace period etc. From now on, Considering the 18th~the 20th negotiations, it is expected that discussion of fisheries subsidies regulation including property and range of prohibited/non-actionable subsidies, S&D of a developing countries, a definition of small fisheries is accelerated. In this point of view, this paper analyzed and arranged every country's proposals holding our own position and took a survey to fishermen and fisheries experts about prohibited/non-actionable subsidies. In addition, this paper intends to suggest the way of future-negotiation and provides essential data to help government's policy making through analyzing prohibited/ non-actionable subsidies, farming subsidies, S&D of a developing countries, small scale fisheries.

여수·광양항 출입항로 통항 특성 (Characteristics of Ship's Traffic Route in Yeosu·Gwangyang Port)

  • This study analyzed ship's passing characteristics in relation with incoming and outgoing routes in Yeosu Gwangyang Port, and examined the risk factors and measures for safety management of marine traffic. The number of passing ships in Yeosu Gwangyang Port was about 60,000 ships annually based on 2014, and the tonnage rose 73% from 447,000 thousand tons in 2005 to 770,000 thousand tons in 2014. Actually, the number of large passing ships was revealed to enormously increase. As a result of marine traffic survey in Yeosu Gwangyang Port for three days in August 2015, daily average passing ships were 408 ships, and 77% of the total passing ships passed between 04:00 and 20:00. The chemical ships and general cargo ships took up the most at 58% of the total incoming and outgoing ships, followed by other work ships at 21%, tankers at 8%, fishing vessels at 7.5% and container ships at 5.5%. Concerning the size of passing ships, ships less than 1,000 tons accounted for 58.6% of the total passing ships. Ships of 1,000-5,000 tons were 20.1%, and those of 5,000-10,000 tons were 6.8%, and more than 10,000 tons were 14.4%. Especially, ships of 500 tons and less using mainly coastal passing routes took up 49% of the total passing ships. As for ship's passage ratio by route, Nakpo sea area where many routes meet accounted for 27.2%, specified area 49%, costal route 8%, specified area's incoming and outgoing sea area around Daedo 4.5%, and Dolsan coastal ara and Kumhodo sea area 8.5%. The number of ships standing by for anchoring in the six designated anchorages was 230 for three days. The standby rate for anchoring was 25% based on the specified area passing ships. In Nakpo sea area, where many routes meet, parallel passing and cross passing between ships occurred the most frequently. In the specified area, many cases, in which incoming and outgoing cargo ships at the starting and ending parts and incoming and outgoing work ships and fishing vessels at the coastal routes cross, took place. Consequently, the following measures are urgently needed: active passing management in the Nakpo sea area, where passing routes are complex, specified areas and costal traffic routes, the elimination of rocks in the route close to Myodo, an effort to improve routes including shallow depth area dredging, and rational safety management for small work ships frequently incoming and outgoing the passing routes of large ships, and fishing vessels operated in the sea areas around those passing routes.
