On Performance Enhancement of CDP(Continuous Data Protection) System Using Flash SSD (Flash SSD를 이용한 CDP(Continuous Data Protection)의 성능개선)

  • If the System is downed by computer or disasters, it can have a bad influence on the reliability of the corporation and business continuity because all companies are computerized. Accordingly, interest on the business continuity without the loss of data in the corporate is increasing. In this paper, system faults have been defined as physical faults and logical faults and CDP solution using Flash SSD has been proposed for enhancing IOPS which is needed for realtime-backup. In order to measure IOPS performance of the CDP using Flash SSD, we constructed an experimental system. From the results we can see that IOPS performance of CDP using Flash SSD is about 50 times more effective than that of the S-ATA.

Interference Analysis of TV Signal Affected by Flights of An Airplane around KimPo International Airport Circumference (항공기 운항으로 인한 김포국제공항 주변지역의 TV 수신 장애 분석)

  • In this paper, we have chosen KimPo International Airport as an area for estimating the flutter interference, in order to analyze the flutter interference. The field test at 25 points around KimPo International Airport and the simulation have been performed for estimating the flutter interference. We consider the received power of a direct wave, the height of an antenna, the ERP of a transmitting point, transmit frequency, and the reflection coefficients of an airplane, the transmit/receive point coordinates as estimation functions for the flutter. From the results, we have found that the flutter interference from flights is very serious around the route of flight circumference, and often occurs when the height of an airplane is low, range from 40 to 240 m. Besides, the degree of the flutter interference can be changed according to the distance between an airplane and a transmitting point, elevation angle, and the reflection coefficients of an airplane.

  • Airport-related laws restrict the installation of lights that obstruct the identification of airport lights or cause glare to pilots and controllers around the airport. However, with regard to the glare that lights give to the pilot or controller, it is only judged whether there is a limit based on a qualitative judgment, and a quantitative review has not been made. Therefore, in this study, visual disturbances that may occur to pilots and controllers due to large lighting facilities around airports during nighttime flight operation were quantitatively calculated and confirmed through disability glare, object recognition, and identification obstruction. And based on this study, it was suggested to supplement the related system to prevent the visual impairment of pilots and controllers caused by lighting facilities.

  • In spite of many advantages of cloud computing, security concerns are a barrier in users' adopting the cloud service. In this paper, we evaluate relative priorities between security attributes of ISO 7498-2 standards affecting overall security quality in cloud computing. For an objective evaluation, the fuzzy AHP(Analytic hierarchical process) is applied. The evaluation results represented the relative priority with concrete number can be an effective management method to choose and develop the cloud computing service.

  • 선박의 대형화 및 고속화, 해상풍력발전사업 등 시설물 건설이 활발해 짐에 따라 해상교통흐름이 변화하고 있으며 정부는 선박의 항행안전을 확보하기 위해 관습적 통항로를 국가 해상교통망으로 지정·추진 하고 있다. 이러한 정부의 해상교통망 구축 추진계획에 따라 해상교통망이 구축된다면 이를 효과적으로 관리하기 위한 관리범위, 관리내용, 관리대상, 관리항목 및 관리방안 등이 제시되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 해상교통망을 효과적으로 관리하기 위해 관리에 필요한 항목이 무엇인지 도출해 내고 이를 관리하기 위한 관리방안을 제시하였다.

  • This study purpose to find out how the relationship characteristics between travel agencies and airlines affect the conflict. As a result of analysis, competition, specialty, uncertainty of environment, frequency of contact and cooperation from the airline's answers have an effect on conflict while variability of environment, similarity, frequency of contact and specialty from the travel agency's answers are affected. In terms of relationship characteristics and conflict between airlines and travel agencies, competition, similarity, frequency of contact and difference of perception and communication difficulty are affected. The relationship characteristics from the result of this study makes a contribution in reducing conflict and improving positive relationship between airlines and travel agencies.

  • In this paper, we have designed the auxiliary input device which based on hand-motion recognition. It is aimed at some individually specified person such as the disabled, rehabilitation patient, and the aged. The gyro sensor is used to recognize the hand-motion in 3D space, and communication bandwidth for transceiver is also set to the 2.4GHz. Prototype board includes a set of modules; Gyro sensor, RF transmitter/receiver, MCU for signal processing and USB connector etc. Some experiments are conducted so as to verify the prototype, and as a result, mouse-based curser motion as well as program control are well operated just same as the design specification.

  • In this paper a three step procedure was derived to select the GNSS network receiving site candidates for GNSS based infrastructure technology development and according to the proposed procedure the 4 site candidates was selected for final network configuration. In the first step, the site requirement was produced for GNSS based infrastructure technology development referring regulation of the international organizations related to permanent GNSS data receiving and the first candidates were selected using the proposed requirement. In the second step, the second candidates were selected among the first candidates by analyzing the visual measurement, environment test and so on. In the third step the final candidates were selected among the second candidates by analyzing sky clearance, radio frequency interference. Through above the three step procedure 16,7,4 candidates of site were selected sequentially and receiving station site could be effectively selected.

  • In this paper, we study on a radio multiple sensing interface module to accurately decide serious error sources that are happened by unexpectable problems in industrial fields, in addition, we study a reliability improvement scheme to guarantee the integrity of multiple sensing data. For multiple sensing interface module, communication drivers such as USART, TWI, ADC and GPIO-I2C are implemented. to improve the transmission reliability, reed-Solomon code is used. From the simulation result of this system in indoor environment, we confirm that the reliability of RS coded data is improved about 5 times than uncoded data. Moreover, we prove that multiple sensing interface module is suitable to diagnose error sources of industrial automaton equipment.

  • In this study, we implemented and designed an RF monitoring system to manage a dust collector wirelessly, which is manually operated. The dust collector prevents the emission of air pollutants and improves air condition. It is possible to implement a high-value monitoring system of a dust collector, the system will wirelessly monitor many important data such as the operating time, the amount of electricity consumption, and the differential pressure value of a large number of the dust collectors in an industrial site, the system also displays and saves these data on a manager's PC, and when an error occurs, the system sends the error message to a manager's mobile phone. Therefore, through the RF monitoring system implemented in this paper, it is possible to reduce unnecessary loss for recording information of each dust collector to stack emission management system (SEMS).
