An Analysis and Simulation of sRIO for Implementation of Robot's Hetero-Multi Processor (로봇의 이기종 다중 프로세서 구현을 위한 Serial RapidIO(sRIO) 분석 및 시뮬레이션)

  • In this paper, we propose the structure of heterogeneous multiprocessor's concept, which is the structure of the new type of the robot controller, and we introduce an integrating structure method, which is distributed multiprocessor within controller using sRIO. We also perform the computer simulation with using the sRIO IP core which was designed within FPGA as the method for implementation of integrated heterogeneous multiprocessor by sRIO communication. Thus, we verify the result.

  • In order to investigate the hydrodynamic interaction between the tug-barge and bank or ship which is crossing to the opposite direction, we have executed the towing simulation of tug-barge transportation. Heading of barge, yaw moment and lateral force of tug boat are obtained by this simulation. We have analyzed the characteristics of results and propose the safety towing method for tug-barge operation.

  • For the commercialization of unmanned aircraft, we must validate the safety of the air/ground collision alert systems (CAS). The validation procedure of CAS requires the flight test which is not only expensive but also dangerous. To alleviate this problem, we need the simulation based validation process for the CAS. We developed an integrated UAV simulation (IUS) environment which interconnect the flight simulator, the Matlab/Simulink, and a target avionics simulation model. We developed the collision warning module of the TCAS and tested using IUS and flight encounter models. Using IUS, we can evaluate the performance and reliability of a target avionic system at the preliminary design stage of a development life cycle.

  • This paper aims to establish a reconfigurable flight simulation environment to conduct safety evaluation of various electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. Since the inceptor, aircraft dynamics model, and controller applied to each eVTOL aircraft are different, it was configured to be variable so that a simulation can be executed for each eVTOL aircraft. Test elements and performance indicators were set to perform safety evaluation of eVTOL aircraft. Ground auxiliary equipments were designed and implemented in a simulation environment according to test procedures for each test element. In addition, to analyze safety performance, a simulation flight data collection environment based on MATLAB/Simulink and a tool for safety performance analysis were implemented. Test flight and analysis were conducted in the implemented simulation environment in this paper. Finally, this study shows the environment was verified by confirming that it was performed normally.

  • In this paper, we show that the SIDMA(Self-organized Time Division Multiple Access) protocol using aviation surveillance data link now, designs to the ICAO DO 9816 documentation sequence. This protocol makes use of the VDL(VHF Data Link) Mode 4 and UAT(Universal Access Transceiver) system's MAC(Media Access Control) layer. We make sure of the simulation result and implementation of STDMA protocol program in accompany with the ICAO documentation sequence. This program operates the slot allocation and reservation with report rate when protocol transmits data and calculates slot address.

  • In this paper, ${\pi}/4$-DQPSK modem according to ITU-R M.1842-1 recommendation Annex1 is investigated and simulated. At first, standardization and technical trend of VHF maritime mobile communication are introduced. The ${\pi}/4$-DQPSK modem defined in the Annex1 should support 28.8Kbps bit transmission rate within 25KHz frequency bandwidth. We describe the system model and simulation process of ${\pi}/4$-DQPSK modem transmitter and receiver design with RRC(Root Raised Cosine) transmitter and receiver filter. Then we suggest various graphical simulation results(time domain signals, constellation, power spectral density according to roll-off factor, eye diagram), and show simulated BER performance of the modem. From the simulation results, it is shown that roll-off factor of RRC filter affects to BER performance according to SNR and the designed simulation model meets the spectrum mask requirement suggested in ITU-R M.1842-1 recommendation.

  • In this paper, the induction motor in indirect vector control method modeling, from indirect vector control method it undergoes an influence to the $1/{\tau}$. When changing a rotor resistance because being like this quality Matlab/Simulink where it will make what kind of effect in speed presumption it led proposed control system used microprosser TMS320C31 DSP for high speed processing. The effectiveness of the proposed system is verified by simulation and experimental results. This result shows highly characteristic speed estimation and robust character of load regulation. and the flux which it follows in change of parameter and speed presumption it was under simulation and get the good result which it comes to get it analyzed.

  • With the rapid growth of technologies and demand of remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPASs), integration of such systems into the existing airspace is becoming an issue in many countries. To assess the impact of integrated operations of manned and remotely piloted aircraft (RPA), it is necessary to perform Human-in-The-Loop (HiTL) simulations of likely situations with an integrated simulation system. This paper defines several operational concepts for the integrated simulation. Several probable scenarios were developed including a traffic pattern at a small airport and an altitude maneuver at a route crossing. HiTL simulations were performed according to the developed scenarios. The simulation results are analyzed focusing on the impacts of different communication, safety, performance, and human machine interface (HMI) characteristics of RPA.

  • In this paper, we simulated terrestrial digital broadcasting system and analyzed the performance of 8-VSB signal and carried out baseband simulation of tranceiver modeling by standard parameter and passband simulation for interchannel interference. Also, an error rate equation for fading and interference of 8-VSB signal is derived. As a result, the case not to consider Rician fading, the influence of the interference did not exist if frequency interval fell off over the 20MHz. The case to consider Rician fading, the system had the degradation of the performance.

  • This paper has optimized WPT (wireless power transfer) antenna, and compared EM (electromagnetic) simulation result with measurement for the magnetic resonant type standard of A4WP (alliance for wireless power) using 6.78MHz frequency and 1m distance. Power transmission distance is affected by various factors such as system shape, antenna size, and resonator coil pitch etc, which were confirmed by the EM simulation. By simulation an optimized WPT antenna was designed for a fixed distance, and the transmission loss ${\mid}S_{21}{\mid}$ has been calculated with changing distance. Measurement was carried for the fabricated antenna, and the measured transmission loss is 1.5dB with 70% efficiency at maximum 1.3m distance compared to the simulated loss of 1.6dB with 69% efficiency
