  • 최근 5년 사이의 급속한 정보통신의 발전과 전자소자의 고집적화, 소형화는 전자장비 내부의 열부하 증가를 초래하고 있다. 이에 효과적으로 열을 제거하는 기술개발 요구로 다양한 이상 열전달 시스템(two-phase systems)이 연구되고 있다.   • As flying vehicle's speed is getting faster, the magnitude of aerodynamic heating is getting bigger. High-speed vehicle's exterior skin is heated to hundreds of degrees, and electrical equipments inside the vehicle are heated, simultaneously. Since allowable temperature of electrical equipments is low, they are vulnerable to effect of aerodynamic heating. These days, lots of techniques are applied to estimate temperature of electrical equipments in flight condition, and to make them thermally safe from heating during flight. In this paper, new model building technique for thermal safety analysis is introduced. To understand internal thermal transient characteristic of electrical equipment, simple heating experiment was held. From the result of experiment, we used our new building technique to build thermal analysis model which reflects thermal transient characteristic of original equipment. This model can provide internal temperature differences of electrical equipment and temperature change of specific unit which is thermally most vulnerable part in the equipment. So, engineers are provided much more detailed thermal analysis data for thermal safety of electrical equipment through this technique.

  • An Electro-Optical Tracking System (EOTS) is an electric optical system with EO/IR cameras, laser sensors, and an IMU. The EOTS calculates coordinates of targets, using attitude and acceleration measured by the IMU. In particular for an armed aircraft, the performance of the weapon system depends on how quickly and accurately it acquires the target coordinates. The IMU should be operated after alignment is complete, to meet the coordinate accuracy required by the weapon system so the initial stabilization time of the IMU should be reduced, by quickly measuring the attitude and acceleration. Alignment is the process of determining the initial attitude by resolving the attitude error of the IMU, and the IMU of mission equipment such as an airborne EOTS, uses velocity matching based on the velocity from GPS/INS for aircraft navigation. In this paper, a method is presented to improve the transfer alignment performance of the airborne EOTS, by maneuvering aircraft and the mission equipment. First, the performance factor of the alignment was identified, as a heading error through the velocity matching model and simulation results. Then acceleration maneuvers and attitude changes were necessary, to correct the error. As a result of flight tests applied to an EOTS on a OOO aircraft system, the transfer alignment performance was improved as the duration time was decreased, by more than five times when the aircraft accelerated by more than 0.2g and the EOTS was moving until 6.7deg/s.

  • 본 논문은 차세대 위성 개발을 위한 선행 연구의 일환으로, 다양한 플랫폼에 적용할 수 있는 위성 전자 전산 시스템 개발 검증 장비의 구성 요소인 상/하향 명령 처리 장치를 PC 에서 구동할 수 있도록 개발한 것이다. 이 PC 기반의 상/하향명령처리 시험환경은 위성의 Flight Software 로직의 검증용으로도 활용될 수 있다.

  • Electronic Warfare (EW) is the mission area responsible to establish and maintain a favorable position in the electromagnetic domain. Testing and Evaluation of EW devices on modern military aircraft to pursue this critical mission area require the use of a wide range of techniques and analytical methods to assure users of the readiness of EW system to meet the challenge of a combat environment. This paper is intended as an introductory text dedicated to EW systems (especially RWR, CMDS) test and evaluation techniques and will serve experienced engineers and program managers, as well as novice engineers, as a concise reference for EW systems' test and evaluation processes and testing resources.

  • This paper addresses the installation and modification design of airframe structures for new and modified equipment installations that are essential for aircraft performance improvement. Typical performance improvement equipment mounted on the exterior of the aircraft include antenna, radar, electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR), and self-protection system equipment, which require structural reinforcement, modification, and mounting design of the green aircraft for operation. In the interior of the aircraft, console and rack structures are modified or added according to user operation requirements. In addition, this is accompanied by the installation design of equipment to be replaced and added for performance improvement, and the according modification of environmental control system components for internal cooling. The engineering process and cases in which airworthiness was verified through the detailed design of airframe structures with structural integrity, operability, and maintainability of performance-improved aircraft are presented.

  • Avionics technologies have been developed with a development of an airplane since 1903. Historically, radio communication was started in 1910's, radio navigations in 1920's and autopilot was applied first in 1930's. Glass cockpit was initiate on MD-80 in 1979 first and now spreaded widely and similar with GPS navigation. Avionics in modern aircraft has a great deal of importance in view of flight safety and maintaining comfortableness. As avionics develops, so do the certification technologies. This paper introduces update avionics certification technologies developed recently.

  • 코로나19 팬데믹을 계기로 원격의료의 수요가 폭발하여 비대면 진료가 가능하도록 법률을 개정하려는 추세에 필요한 서비스로 시간과 비용이 없고, 거리 두기 단계 상향등으로 병원에 방문하지 못하는 환자가 늘어나고 있다. 하지만 시중에 건강상태를 확인할수 있는 장비를 판매하지만 전문적인 지식이 없는 일반인은 정확하게 결과를 알 수 없고 한가지의 검사만 측정이 가능하기 때문에 검사결과를 확인하고 싶으면 병원을 방문해야한다. 본 논문은 전문적인 지식이 없는 일반인도 자신의 건강상태를 확인가능하게 하기 위해 심박, 심전도, 산소포화도, 체온센서의 측정값을 그래프로 표현한 후 검사결과를 토대로 의사와 원격진료가 가능하여 병원을 방문하지 않고 의사와 상담 및 진료가 가능하다. 병원에 입원이 불가능한 환자일 경우 산소포화도 측정값이 95%미만이면 산소공급 즉 응급처치가 가능하다.

  • 방위산업분야의 항공기용 전자장비는 신뢰성 설계를 위하여 MIL규격이나 실측된 PSD데이터를 이용하여 보수적으로 설계하는 것이 일반적이다. 하나의 프로젝트에서 개발되는 PCB는 수십 종에 이르고 그 장착위치나 설계변경이 병행되므로 PSD랜덤 진동해석의 대안으로 등가정적해석을 수행하게 된다. 등가정적해석결과의 보수성을 확인하기 위하여 PSD랜덤진동해석으로부터 추출된 정규분포를 갖는 각 방향 응력에 대해 Monte Carlo모의를 수행하여 결과를 비교분석하였다. 결론적으로 PSD랜덤진동 해석의 대안으로 등가정적해석결과의 유용성과 보수성을 통계적으로 비교하였고 실험을 통하여 결과의 타당성을 보였다.

  • In this paper, we introduce measures designed content for RTCA DO-160 F, Section 22 tests performed to verify the effects of indirect lightning and testing process of the test was carried out in the multi-purpose display certification process. This is referred to as indirect effects of lightning capability of an aircraft having electrical electronic equipment failure or damage to bring lightning induced voltages. In order to protect the avionics from lightning indirect effects of these aircraft are analyzing the effects of lightning strikes on aircraft and aircraft systems and interior design needs protection against the threat on their part. In this paper, we introduce RTCA DO-160 F, component selection process according to Section 22 category selection method and the selected level for determining the level of such measures for protection against lightning of multipurpose display for this aircraft. It also introduces the actual test process to confirm that the designed effectiveness of the selected part. We expect a good example of the lightning planned for future development of measures designed avionics through each step of the process introduced this.
