  • Halide perovskite nanocrystals have become attractive for LED applications due to their high color purity and excellent luminescent properties. $CsPbX_3$ (X = I, Br, and Cl) nanocrystals were synthesized by hot-injection method and the emission wavelength was controlled by changing the composition of halide ion. Green- and red-emitting films were fabricated using a polymer binder. The outstanding optical properties of the synthesized nanocrystals and fabricated films were confirmed. The wLED designed by green- and red-emitting perovskite nanocrystal films on blue InGaN LED was characterized.

  • A marvellous solar cell technology system based on organometal halide perovskites has recently shown an unprecedented progress in power conversion efficiency (PCE); the certified one of 17.9% and unconfirmed of 19.3%, as well as the estimated electricity with a generating cost lower than the half of conventional methods based on fossil fuels. In this report the present status of stability with regards to moisture, ambient temperature, ultraviolet and lead toxicity as well as the key technological developments for the early commercialization are covered. Comprehensive understanding of material science for perovskites is required, together with complete encapsulation technologies beyond those for OLEDs, in order to ensure a 20-year-longer-than lifetime of PSCs (perovskite solar cells) and the stability according to the IEC 61646 damp heat test standard, which will result in the replacement of silicon solar cells with PSCs.

  • This review examines the use of halide perovskite materials in electronic devices, highlighting their exceptional optoelectronic properties and the challenges associated with them. Despite their potential for high-performance devices, practical applications are limited by sensitivity to environmental factors such as moisture and oxygen, etc. We discuss advances in enhancing stability and operational reliability, featuring innovative synthesis methods and device engineering strategies that help mitigate degradation. Furthermore, we explore the integration of perovskites in applications such as field-effect transistors and LEDs, emphasizing their transformative potential. This review also outlines future research directions, stressing the need for ongoing improvements in material stability and device integration to fully realize the commercial potential of perovskites.

  • Because of their superior optical, and electrical properties, lead halide perovskites have emerged as potential materials for light-emitting-diodes. However, some obstacles have yet to be overcome for practical applications including low exciton binding energy, the difficulty of fabricating uniform perovskite films,, and their instability to heat, light, and moisture. In this review, we focus on strategies to improve the lifetime, and stability of perovskites such as core-shell structure, ligand exchange, and doping.

  • Organometal halide perovskite materials have attracted much attention in the photovoltaic and light emitting devices due to the compositional flexibility with AMX3 formula (A is an organic amine cation; M is a metal ion; X is a halogen atom). The addition of homovalent or heterovalent metal cations to the bulk organohalide perovskites has been performed to modify their energy band structure and the relevant optoelectronic properties by ligand-assisted ball milling. Here, we report CH3NH3Pb1-xMxBr3 nanocrystals substituted by metallic cations (M is Sn2+, In3+, Bi3+; x = 0, 0.01, 0.02, 0.05, 0.1, 0.2). Photoluminescence and quantum yield was significantly reduced with increasing metallic cations content. These quenching effect could be resulted from the metal cations that behave as a non-radiative recombination center.

  • Metal halide perovskite (MHP) nanocrystals (NCs) have emerged as promising materials for various optoelectronic applications including photovoltaics, light-emitting devices, and photodetectors because of their high absorption coefficient, high diffusion length, and photoluminescence quantum yield. However, understanding the morphological evolution of the MHP NCs as well as their controlled assembly into optoelectronic devices is still challenging and will require further investigation of the colloidal chemistry. In this study, we found that the amount of n-octylamine (the capping agent) plays a crucial role in inducing further growth of the MHP NCs into one-dimensional nanowires during the aging process. In addition, we demonstrate that the dielectrophoresis process can permit self-alignment of the MHP nanowires with uniform distribution and orientation on interdigitated electrodes. A strong light-matter interaction in the MHP NWs array was observed under UV illumination, indicating the photo-induced activation of their luminescence and electrical current in the self-aligned MHP nanowire arrays.

  • For the last decades, a research hotspot for the halide perovskites (HPs) is now showing great progress in terms of improving efficiency for numerous photovoltaic devices (PVDs). However, it still faces challenges in the case of long-term stability in the air atmosphere. Defect-free high-quality HP single crystals show their promising properties for the remarkable development of highly efficient and stable PVDs. Here, we summarize the growth processing routes for the stable HP single crystals as well as briefly discuss the pros and cons of those well-established synthesis routes. Furthermore, we briefly include the comparison note between the HP single crystals and polycrystalline perovskite films regarding their device applications. Based on the future progress, the review concludes subjective perspectives and current challenges for the development of HPs high-quality PVDs.
