ICP-MS와 MA-2를 이용한 버섯류 유해 중금속 모니터링

  • 2010년 5월 중 서울 약령시와 서울시내 대형마트에서 유통 중인 약용버섯 및 식용버섯류 16품목 92건 대상으로 중금속(비소, 카드뮴, 납, 수은) 모니터링을 실시하였다. 식품의약품안전청에서 고시한 생약의 잔류오염물질 허용기준 및 시험방법에 따라 실험하였으며, 유통 버섯류의 중금속 함유실태를 파악하고, 버섯의 안전성 기준 제정을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 본 실험을 실시하였다. 새송이버섯 등 생버섯 7종 15건에 대한 중금속 검사 결과 비소 0.01~0.26 mg/kg, 카드뮴 0~0.10 mg/kg, 납 0~0.03 mg/kg, 수은 0~0.007 mg/kg 으로 중금속 함유량이 낮았다. 상황버섯 등 11종 77건의 건조되어 식용 및 약용으로 사용되는 버섯류 중 노루궁뎅이버섯은 4건 중 2건(50.0 %)에서 카드뮴이 0.32~0.82 mg/kg으로 한약재 기준 대비 높게 검출되었으며, 상황버섯은 15건 중 5건(33 %)에서 카드뮴 0.58~0.85 mg/kg, 표고버섯은 9건 중 3건에서 카드뮴 0.42~0.74 mg/kg, 운지버섯 5건 중 1건(20.0 %)에서 1.66 mg/kg, 영지버섯 16건 중 2건(12.5%)에서 수은 0.415 mg/kg과 카드뮴 0.66 mg/kg이 분석되었다. 특히 아가리쿠스버섯은 10건 중 10건(100.0 %)에서 카드뮴(10건) 1.49~7.35 mg/kg, 수은(9건) 0.202~0.505 mg/kg으로 높은 유해중금속 함유량을 보이는 것으로 조사되었다.

Analysis on trends of moxibustion patents (뜸 특허기술 동향분석)

  • Objectives : This study was conducted to collect the basic data for the developments of moxibustion related technique and the efficient promotion of moxibustion research. Methods : We have analysed the moxibustion associated patents application informations searching by WIPS company. We searched and analyzed the total of 1.770 data base from the year 1976 to July, 2006. Results : Korea is mostly superior compared to the others in number of domestic patents. Korean applicant was as frequent as 1066 subjects(80%) of nationality. The most common field of patents was 'moxibustion body' 587 subjects(26%), 'heating material' 495 subjects(23%), 'heating control' 96 subjects(4%). 'manufacture method' 78 subjects(3%), 'etc'(3%). The most common applicant of moxibustion patents was Yu Tae Woo(131subjects). Kim Geun Sik(50subjects), Most moxibustion material and device was wormwood, wormwood moxibustion device. Conclusion : Moxibustion technological development is being recognized as a core capability of competitive advantage for sustainable growth of international alternative medicine. We are in need of inspecting the patents. We will have to work up for strengthen the competitiveness of Korea moxibustion patents.

Distribution of hazardous heavy metals in commercial herbal medicines classified by plant parts used in seoul (서울지역 유통한약재의 약용부위에 따른 유해중금속 분포)

  • In this study, the safety of commercial herbal medicines was evaluated by determining concentration of hazardous heavy metals. 3,152 samples (244 types) purchased by individual packing unit from market in Seoul, were analyzed using ICP-MS and mercury analyzer. As a result, the content (mg $kg^{-1}$) of Pb was higher in the above-ground part (0.92) than underground part (0.43). But in case of As and Cd contents, there is slightly higher in the underground-parts (0.26, 0.13) than the above-ground parts (0.18, 0.08). There were many herbal medicines exceeding regulatory limits of Cd comparing with other metals. The levels of Hg seemed to be different between above-ground part(0.009) and underground part (0.008) but there was no sample exceeding tolerance limits. In the comparison of imported samples with domestic herbal medicines, it was shown that Pb, As, and Hg were measured highly in the imported ones, Cd was not significantly different (t-test, p<0.05). The significant correlation was observed between Pb and As (r=0.386, p<0.01) but there was no difference in other parts. The heavy metal contamination of herbal medicines measured in total amount of respective heavy metals (mg $kg^{-1}$) was high in Flos (6.241) and Caulis (2.238), and decreased in the order of Cortex (1.634), Herba (1.154), Perithecium (0.861), Rhizoma (0.828), Radix (0.825), Fructus (0.475), and was low in Semen (0.422) (ANOVA-test, p<0.05).

Anterior Cruciate Ligament Augmentation Using Autogenous Semitendinosus Tendon (자가 반건양건을 이용한 전방 십자 인대 보강술)

  • Purpose: This study presents clinical results of anterior cruciate ligament(ACL) augmentation using autogenous two-strand semitendinosus tendon in the treatment of partial ACL tears with preservation of residual portion. Materials and Methods: From January 2004 to June 2006, twenty two patients who had an ACL injury underwent ACL augmentation using autogenous two-strand semitendinosus tendon were enrolled in this study. We evaluated the clinical results with regard to clinical findings(range of motion, Lachman test, pivot shift test), standard knee scales(Lysholm, Modified Feagin Scoring System), and KT-1000 arthrometer testing. Results: At minimum one year postoperatively, there was no limitation of range of motion. Lachman and pivot shift tests were negative in all knees. On instrumented anterior laxity test by KT-1000 arthrometer, mean side to side difference was improved from 4.6mm preoperatively to 1.7mm postoperatively. Average Lysholm score was improved from 70 to 92. Ninety one percent of cases were rated as good or excellent in Modified Feagin Scoring System. Conclusion: Augmentation using autogenous two-strand semitendinosus tendon with preservation of residual portion of the ACL seems to be an acceptable method for restoring knee stability and proprioceptive function.

Arthroscopic Stabilization Using Remplissage Technique In Recurrent Shoulder Instability with Large Hill-Sachs Lesion - Minimum Six Months Follow-Up Results - (광범위한 Hill-Sachs 병변에서 Remplissage 술기를 이용한 관절경적 재건술 - 최소 6개월 이상 추시 결과 -)

  • Purpose: To evaluate shoulder stability, clinical, and functional results more than 6 months after utilizing the 'Remplissage' technique, consisting of an arthroscopic posterior capsulodesis and infraspinatus tenodesis, to fill Hill-Sachs lesions. Materials and Methods: Seven patients were followed-up more than 6 months after the 'Remplissage' procedures performed in our hospital from August 2008 to August 2009. The mean age of the patients was 28.6 years and the mean follow-up time was 10 months. Evaluations included ROM, ASES score, KSSI score, ROWE score, and postoperative MRI. Results: In a functional evaluation of the patients with an average postoperative time of 10 months, the ASES score improved from 51.4 preoperatively to 76.8 postoperatively, the KSSI score improved from 46.5 preoperatively to 76 postoperatively, and the ROWE score improved from 43.5 preoperatively to 76.3 postoperatively. After an average postoperative time of 10 months, the range of motion was nearly normal (>170 degrees in further flexion, and >45 degrees in external rotation). Conclusion: In recurrent shoulder instabilities with large Hill-Sachs lesions, the 'Remplissage' technique resulted in good outcomes in terms of shoulder stability, clinical, and functional results after postoperative times of more than 6 months.
