  • A wave difference method(WDH) phase detector for timing recovery is designed in the digital subscriber loop receiver. This paper describes the architecture and experimental results of the WDM, tankless timing extraction PLL. The results show that the designed WDM timing extraction circuit have stable jitter performance without the use of high precision LC tank circuit.

  • 존경하는 암기 극기 회장님. 그리고 110년의 역사와 일본현대사에 찬란한 공적을 남기신 일본전기학회 회원 여러분! 안녕하십니까! 이토록 좋은 이절에 아름다운 역사의 도시경도에서 덕망과 학식이 높은신 많은 회원들 앞에서, 강연할 기회를 주셔서 대단히 감사하게 생각하며 또한 영광으로 생각합니다. 아울러 이 기회에 7,000여 대한전기학회 회원들의 따뜻한 인사 말씀을 여러분에게 전하여 드립니다. 저는 오늘 여러분에게 "21세기를 지향한 한.일 양국의 전기공학 기술 협력"이라는 제목으로 말씀드리고자 합니다마는 저 자신이 30여년간 작은 연구소에만 근무하고 있어서 저의 지식은 매우 제한적이며 때로는 편견이 있음도 너그러이 양해하여 주시기 바랍니다. 제가 오늘 여러분에게 말씀드릴 순서는 먼저 한국과 일본의 지정학적 관계와 역사에 대하여 간략하게 말씀드리고, 다음으로 우리나라의 전력산업과 전기공업에 대하여 말씀 드리겠으며, 끝으로 한국과 일본의 기술협력에 대하여 말씀드리고자 합니다.씀드리고자 합니다.

Peroneal Artery Perforator Free Flap on the Palm and Removal of Back Foreign Body in High Voltage Electrical Burn Patient: A Case Report (고압전기화상 환자에서 손바닥에 비골동맥천공지유리피판수술과 등의 이물질제거수술: 증례 보고)

  • Wound caused by high-tension electrical burns is difficult to manage because the wound is deep and complex. The wound is progressively necrotic due to microvascular injury resulting in deep tissue exposure. So, coverage of the wound at the entry point and the exit point is cumbersome, often requiring flap coverage. We experienced a case of one patient for peroneal artery perforator free flap coverage on the palm of the right hand of the entry point of electrical burn. The left foot wound of electrical exit point was covered by full thickness skin graft. Also a small wound was on the left side of the lower back was the exit point of electrical burn. The lower back wound was healed and recurred repeatedly after burn. On postburn day 6 month, through the radiologic exam, metal shadow was identified in the left gluteus muscle forming chronic sinus. We explored the wound of sinus and a foreign body was identified in the sac as multi braid wires thin as hair. According to the patient's past history, we suspected that the back wound was caused by electrical burn injury through the wires.

  • We analyzed photoluminescence (PL) and electroluminescence characteristics of various chirped quantum dot structures. Peaks in EL curves were contributed by excited states of quantum dots (QD), while those in PL curves by grounded states. Based on these characteristics, we suggested that superluminescent diodes with wide spectral bandwidth may be developed if chirped QD structures are designed to make a contribution by ground states to EL characteristics.

  • The Cu-Si alloy has been proposed as a new matrix materal for filamentary Nb-Ti wires in AC use. The Cu-Si alloy shows approprite mechanical and electrical properties, and is economically more favourable than the Cu-Ni alloy matrix used currently. Moreover, the addition of Si to Cu prevents the formation of intermetallic compounds around the filaments. After we investigated resistivity and hardness of Cu-Si alloy as matrix materal, investigated CuSi/NbTi interface reactions and superconductivities of superconducting wires that were made by various heat treatment.
