Purpose: The purposes of this study are; to classify executive organizations engaged in MCH programs at 23 advanced public health centers according to each characteristic; evaluate the effectiveness of organizations engaged in MCH programs. Method: This study analyzes me data on the present conditions and evaluates the organizational effectiveness of MCH workers at 23 advanced public health centers. The organizational effectiveness of MCH organization is assessed by both MCH workers and clients who have received MCH services at the three health centers selected from me 23 advanced public health centers. Finally, this study seeks to obtain consensus among experts in the field of MCH. Results: The results are as follows. The executive organizational systems for MCH services are classified into three types: Type I (provides MCH and HP services by MCH org.); Type II(provides MCH and HP Services by HP org); and Type III(provides MCH Services by MCH org. and HP services by HP org.) at leading MCH Health Centers. The evaluation of the organizational effectiveness of MCH org. shows that Type II is the most effective in terms of teamwork, autonomy, service quality, and resource utilization. According to clients' evaluation of organizational system in the field of MCH, Type II is also me most effective. Conclusion: This study suggests that the executive organization for the MCH and HP services for maternity and children should be established in accordance with lifetime health programs in order to efficiently utilize the limited MCH and HP resources at public health centers.
This study was designed to evaluate the effects of tocopherol supplementation on serum $HDL_{2}$ and $HDL_{3}$ subfraction and lipoprotein pattern of young rabbits fed the different levels of dietary polyunsaturated fatty acids. White male rabbits with an average bo요 weight of 90kg were assigned into 4 groups : LP( Low PUFA) ; HP( High PUFA) ; LPT( Tocopheror added to LP), HPT(Tocopherol added to HP) by feeding safflower oil or coconut oil at loft( w/w )in addition to thew diet with or without tocopherol for 4 weeks. HDL-Chol and HDL subfractions were determined by polyanionic precipitation method, and the relative amount of lipoprotein by electrophoresis. Serum total cholesterol and TG wer slightly lowered in the group of high PUFA diet and its effect was more in the case of tocopherol supplemented. HDL-Chol level was reduced in the high PUFA diet with or without tocopherol, but overall, HDL-Chol level was not influenced by tocopherol addition and also no significant change in lipoprotein pattern when tocopherol added to the HP diet. $HDL_{2}$ level was increased in HPT group but not in LPT group when tocopherol was added to each HP and LP group, respectively. $HDL_{3}$ levels of both LP and HP groups were reduced with tocopherol supplement, but the reduction was less in the high PUFA groups so that $HDL_{2}$ : $HDL_{3}$ ratio of HP was rather close to that of LP, but it was increased when tocopherol supplemented to the HP diet. Therefore, high PUFA diet could improve the anti atherogenic factor when tocopherol supplemented.
This study was intended to estimate Hp(10) recommended by the ICRU using the $CaSO_4:Dy,P$ element developed in the KAERI. For the estimation of Hp(10), TL response should be compensated properly through the energy range using filter materials since $CaSO_4:Dy,P$ is of severe photon energy dependent response. Various experiments and computations using Monte Carlo Code were carried out for designing filter satisfying the performance requirements of the ISO related to TL dosimeter. Under the completed filter, the relative response of $CaSO_4:Dy,P$ showed $0.75{\sim}1.0$ for photons in the range of $20{\sim}662keV$. Especially it was possible to reduce the thickness of front filter and simplify the filter combination with rear filter of larger diameter and to considerably improve angular dependence by introducing taper to the filler.
Purpose: This study aimed to assess defibrillator pad positioning by the general public and healthcare providers during basic life support (BLS) renewal education (RE). Methods: A total 130 subjects performed defibrillation using an automated external defibrillator (AED) equipped with electrode pads developed by the researchers and male resuscitation manikins, in order to assess electrode pad placement (EPP) before BLS RE. Subjects included 54 Healthcare providers (HP) and 76 members of the general public (GP). Results: The apex EPP was positioned in the risk area (RA), more than 5 cm distant from the area recommended, by 63.2% of the GP (n = 48). The apex EPP was positioned in the RA by 44.4% of the HP (n = 23). The distance from the apex (GP $5.27{\pm}2.21cm$, HP $4.18{\pm}1.71cm$) was statistically significant, using Student's t-test. Conclusion: For both GP and HP, apex EPP was significantly in error. Thus, to prevent defibrillation failures, EPP education and practice for GP and HP in all BLS education programs should be improved, and incorrect Korean cardiopulmonary resuscitation guidelines and related literature should be revised and corrected.

Recently, lots of automobile part manufacturers try to increase glass fiber content of their plastic parts to improve strength and impact-resistance. For this reason, injection mold requires high hardness and wear-resistant. Laser surface treatment is used to improve characteristics of wear and to enhance the fatigue resistance for injection mold. In this paper, high carbon steel (HP4MA) for injection mold material was heat-treated to harden surface by using high power diode laser (HPDL). To find the process parameters for laser surface treatment of HP4MA, many experiments are carried out as changing the parameters of surface temperature and travel speed of laser. From the results of the experiments, it has been shown that the maximum average hardness is approximately 711~739 Hv when the temperature and the travel of laser are $1,050^{\circ}C$ and 2 mm/sec.
An extensive ssurvey was conducted on the occurrence of hyperparasites (HP) on powdery milew species in Korea during $1991{\sim}1994$ seasons. As a result, a total of 1070 materials infected with powdery mildew fungi were collected. Of these, 92 ones were infected with the HP; 6 with the unidentified HP and the rest 86 with Ampelomyces quisqualis. This showed infection of powdery mildew species with HP was common phenomenon in nature and A. quisqualis was the most common HP in Korea. To prove the hyperparasitism of A. quisqualis, 24 isolates from 32 collections in 1992 year were successfully cultured. All isolates tested were hyperparasitic to cucumber powdery mildew, Sphaerotheca fusca.
The HP0902, a homodimeric 22.1 kDa protein, has been suggested as a putative secretory protein from Helicobacter pylori, although the protein possesses no signal peptide for secretion. Since it may be associated with the virulence of the bacterium, NMR study has been initiated in terms of structural genomics. In our previous effort to assign the backbone NMR resonances, using 800MHz NMR machine at pH 7.8, the resonances from eight of the 99 residues could not be assined due to missing of the signals. In this work, to enhance the extent of assignments, a 900 MHz machine was employed and the sample pH was reduced down to 6.5. Finally, almost all signals, except for those from G9 and S24, could be clearly assigned. The determined secondary structure using the assined chemical shifts indicated that the HP0902 consists of 11 ${\beta}$-strands with no helices. In our database search result, HP0902 was predicted to interact with VacA (Vacuolating cytotoxin A), which is a representative virulence factor secreted from Helicobacter pylori. Thus, molecular interaction between HP0902 and VacA would be worthy of investigation, on the basis of the present results of NMR assignments.

This study is intended to investigate the influence of chemical admixture on bleeding of concrete. According to the results, the amount of bleeding with elapse of time does not make much difference in the case of naphthalene type water reducing agent(RN), Naphthalene type high performance water reducing agent(HN) and Melamine type high performance water reducing agent(HM), but it is largest in the case of Polycarbonic acid type high performance water reducing agent(HP). Bleeding speed also is highest in the case of HP in comparison with other chemical admixture. This prove that high performance water reducing agent like HP has little effect on fluidity of concrete, but influences the amount of bleeding more greatly, instead. As properties of hardened concrete, compressive strength makes no difference in the case of RN, HN and HM, but on the other hand, it increases in the case of HP due to a decrease of air content and the large amount of bleeding.
