The purpose of this study is to analyze the garden details of Carla Scarpa in order to understand his selection and composition of materials, detailing style and symbolism of the spaces. Literature review and a field trip were conducted for the study and the results are as follows. First, Scarpa used vernacular materials such as Murano glass and Istrian limestone, and juxtaposed various materials using contrast of color and texture. His mixed uses of traditional and modern materials shows the passage of time. Second, he create his own detail style such as ziggurat and geometric motif, which make the garden space to look more interesting and rich. Scarpa respected local craftsmanship like glass design and used textile design style such as overlaying. Third, symbolic uses of water features help make narrative and poetic gardens. Scarpa's unique detail style and respects for traditional craftsmanship provide lessons on how to interpretate traditional design style in modern garden.
This study is to analyze the difference of the post-viewing emotion and behavior of the audience at a dance performance by general characteristics of the audience. To attain the goal of the study described above paragraphs, the audience of dance performance located in Seoul and Kyoungki-Do was set as a collected group. Then, using the convenience sampling method, finally drew out and analyzed 280 people in total. statistic analysis techniques were used SPSS 18.0 program. Based on the statistical methods above, we had the result of data analysis as follows; First, among the general characteristics(job, viewing frequency, dance experience, and genre), had significantly effect on the post-viewing emotion(positive emotion, satisfaction) Second, among the general characteristics(job, viewing frequency, dance experience, and genre), all the factors had significantly effect on post-viewing behaviors(researching, respectating intention).
Art in the modern sense takes the lead to reform the society through constant interaction with members in society. Therefore the works of Art should be understood as social compositions that are reconstructed creatively according to the social environmental impact. Recording, collecting and preserving the references are compulsory for the constant social reform, so the importance of Archive is stressed. However, the Art Archive in Korea is operating very limitedly just to provide simple references to the users. Thus, We need to seek for various ways and user-focused service to utilize the digitalized Art culture records, and need positive research on Art Archive to enhance the creative activities. So in this study, we subdivided the interactivity and applied TAM model. Our analysis on the effect on the purpose of use shows that the users need to be provided with useful informations easily for their creative activities. It also shows that the purpose of use increases through awareness of interactivity. However, the result of this study has a limit of the sample so further studies for the purpose is suggested.

Oral history research in Korea began with the effort to find out the truth behind the hidden historical issues that occurred during the mid-1980s. Since then, attempts to record the major issues through contemporary Korean history orally has increased. From the late 2000s, the focus shifted to local and smaller village units. In Busan, from 2009 to 2016, 33 oral history projects from 10 government agencies were conducted. This research was carried out to investigate what kind of oral records has been produced in Busan from the said period and how they are managed. With these findings, possible solutions to preserve and utilize the oral records as the locality archives are suggested.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate exhibition spaces which are being expanded and transformed concurrently with social phenomena that are also the result of rapid changes, all of which are reflective of a modern society in transition. Such investigation would also include an analysis of changes in the viewing public and artworks themselves, and also an assessment of the public nature of art and its effective aspects. Expansion of exhibition spaces and the increasing connection between art and the public have very important ramifications, in many respects. They present opportunities for the viewing public to immerse themselves in artistic spaces, with some reaching further into other activities - activities that they often share with other individuals. This also leads them to expand their range of activities, turning them into more mobile, proactive audiences. In connection, many corporations have turned their attention to this public aspect of art, which has resulted in a display of art in different types of spaces. The government also began to adopt 'public art' as a matter of policy, using it as a medium of communication between the state and its populace. The public aspect of art, being highlighted as a result of expansion and diversification of exhibition spaces, will have a significant impact not only on the viewing public, but also on the art market. This represents a momentous change for creators of art, which naturally warrants close scrutiny and research.
The target stimulating human's sensitivity can include several things; the first is human like us including beautiful women and cute babies. The next ranking is the dog animal that established itself as a human's companion. It is the 3B law(beauty, baby, beast - much used in the ad or election due to the positive image) that is widely used in the advertising. This relationship is being expressed in the art history for a long time. Dogs that have lived a history more than 10 thousand years with humans hunted, protected flock of sheep, and kept the farmer's house and property. They have been human's assistants and companion who entered into the modern urban culture. Like this, dogs have adapted to several situations endlessly such as the nomadic life, farming, country life, and urban life. This paper will explore the close relationship of humans and companion animals through various icons of dogs and pups that appeared through a number of artists' skills. The companion animal means an animal that lives with people, which means the relationship of round-trip rather than the one-way relation those each other gives a help. Therefore, there artist tries to examine the figure of great hunter for survival, highly evaluated figure as the royal dignity, and the mascot-like figure delivering the daily happiness to modern people as presenting joy through a discussion of the 'countenance', a visual signal of the dogs and pups. They have been influenced by screen and popular media in 20C. Snoopy, a main character of and the movie <101 Dalmatians> made a success on the theater and television when Beagle and Dalmatian were prevalent. These main characters make audience feel happy involuntarily. Like this, the continuous and old friendship of the human and dogs will be confirmed again through the icon of dogs and pups consisting of the communication of artists and readers in the modern shape art, and it is hoped to be a psychological stabilizing effect to modern people living in the intense modern society. Therefore, it is expected this study paper will be reborn as a new text and be expanded as an effective communication in the journey of dogs and human in the future in investigating the communion of dogs and human.
Recent advances in science and technology leveraged various artistic tools. Interactive art based on various media technologies became popular in a short period, and is widely appreciated as a new form of art. This new form of art has a different method of expression from traditional art such as painting or sculpture. It aims to strike a balance among the artist, audience, and piece of art through interaction between the work and viewers. Viewers can take part in the creation process, going beyond the conventional way of art appreciation. This paper analyzes interactive art production techniques based on human senses from the artist's perspective. "Simulation-experience model" will be suggested after looking at several example artworks. Charming, which was produced based on this model, will be introduced and its meaning will be analyzed. The objective of this paper is to predict the future of interactive art and changes in the art form by studying interactive art production techniques based on human senses. We believe that the prediction is helpful in understanding the artistic and technological value and the social influence of interactive art in the future.

The paper examined whether the fine arts education needed concept of 'Yu' that was suggested by, 'Soyoyu' of Jangja, a representative philosopher of Doka. At first, the paper defined concept of 'Yu' of Jangja as well as background and needs of the fine arts education, and investigated values of 'Yu' of the Oriental painting in aesthetic way to examine whether today's Yu concept can be applied to modern Oriental fine arts education to express. Chapter 2 examined concept and thought of 'strolling (Yu)', and Chapter 3 did background and needs of the fine arts education. Chapter 4 examined an access to practical technique education of the Oriental painting through 'strolling (Yu)': At first, the chapter investigated 'Heosil' of space concept that was researched at Chapter 2, 'Pilmuk' of expression technique, and 'Saeui' of state of spiritual canvas of painters. The findings were as follow: Firstly, when relation between Yu and Oriental paintings was investigated based on formative idea, 'Heo' reminded appreciators of association of ideas, hint and imagination, etc by, 'Sil' that other objects disclosed intrinsic attributes so that it indicated border of positive forgetfulness expressed by artists to have same border between 'Heo' and 'Yu'. Therefore, both 'Heo' and 'Sil' could build up expression as well as appreciation ability by experiencing formative idea to develop creativity and to build emotion and to cognize needs of the fine arts education. Secondly, the artistic state of 'Shin', 'Ki (Simjae)', 'Jeonshin' and, Saeui', etc could be expressed with strength and weakness of both Yin and Yang of Pilmuk. Therefore, the Pilmuk were linked even with creation of both Hyeongsa and artistic form of Saeui. Therefore, freedom at border of spiritual 'strolling' could produce creative power being expressed by thinking, natural appreciation ability, and education that could judge values of aesthetic culture. Therefore, cultivation of aesthetic eye, development of creativity, build up of formative ability and education of human nature, etc could keep identity of the Oriental fine arts education at various modern fine arts.
As a previous study to investigate recognition gap of creativity between Korea and America, this study has examined Korean university students' implicit creativity toward Korea and America. The research method using in this study was as follows: The subject were university students in Korea, and they were asked to answer multiply for open-ended questions. For the analysis of the answers, a frequency analysis was used. The results were as follows: 1) It showed that Korean university students considered creativity trait as cognitive trait, personality, cultural trait, research and development areas and arts areas. This result means that Korean university students tend to recognize creativity similarly to the ways of established theories of creativity. 2) For the case of Korea, environmental trait like sociocultural background had great importance for all cases of creativity trait and non-creativity trait. 3) American creativity was recognized focused on individual tendency, on the while, community spirit was considered as creativity trait in Korean creativity. 4) It is considered that American culture had better condition for displaying creativity than Korean culture. 5) Traditional culture of Korea was recognized as creativity trait in terms of originality and superiority, and the possibility of modernistic use of Korean culture. 6) Creative people were ranked by artists, executives, rulers and scientists who were well-known to Korean university students. 7) In the comparison of creativity trait between the two countries revealed the traits of creative people, American creativity was reflected more than Korean creativity, This result seems that those people were favored by Korean university students who were familiar with American culture. In conclusion, this study has found another possibility of creativity of the East among cross-cultural creativity studies. Moreover, this study has suggested that traditional culture and tradition renewal, and values of the East are superior cultural resources which are not exist in the West, and those are expected to play a role in developing creativity.
