  • 최근 고령인구와 장애인구에 대한 사회적 배려나 관심이 지속적으로 증가로 인하여 이들에게 실질적인 혜택을 주기위한 기술적 발전과 그에 따른 산업 변화가 일고 있다. 거리에서 쉽게 볼 수 있는 거리의 음성신호를 장착한 신호등에서부터 공중전화, 자동차에 이르기까지 다양하다. 그 중에서 특히 장애인이나 노인들에게 제공되는 정보통신에 대한 시책들은 아직은 미흡하다.

A Study on Analyzing Structural Changes and Growth Factors of the Three Main Industries in Ulsan Metropolitan City using Regional Input-Output Tables (지역산업연관표를 이용한 울산광역시 3대 주력산업의 구조변화와 성장요인 분석)

  • This paper analyzes empirically how the three main industries (petrochemical industry, shipbuilding industry, automobile industry) that are driving the growth of Ulsan region in 2005~2013 have grown by what factors. For this purpose, we investigate the structural changes of the three main industries by using regional input-output tables announced by the Bank of Korea and examine the growth contribution rate of each industry that is divided into domestic final demand, export demand, import substitution for final goods, import substitution for intermediate goods and technological change, respectively. The growth rate of gross output and aggregate demand in petrochemical and automobile industries increased in 2010-1013 compared to 2005-2010, but the growth rate of gross output and aggregate demand in shipbuilding industry slowed down. As a result of analysis of factors contributing to the increase in gross output of the three main industries, export demand has the greatest effect. By industry, the rate of growth contribution of export demand in petrochemical industry is recorded as 209.23% in 2005-2010 and 113.78% in 2010-2013, respectively. The rate of growth contribution of export demand in automobile industry is recorded as 258.72% in 2005-2010 and 72.69% in 2010-2013, respectively. On the other hand, the rate of growth contribution of export demand in shipbuilding industry is recorded as 94.47% in 2005-2010, but it decreased to -255.32% in 2010-2013. Analysis of growth factors of Ulsan's three main industries is expected to serve as the basis for reorganizing related industrial policies and establishing them.

Technological Cooperation Network Analysis through Patent Analysis of Autonomous Driving Technology (자동차 자율주행 기술 특허분석을 통한 기술협력 네트워크 분석)

  • This study analyzes the characteristics and change factors of technological cooperation networks in the automotive industry. Using Social Network Analysis (SNA) of 112,009 autonomous driving-related patents filed from 2000 to 2017 by major automotive firms in the world, we investigate the structure of the technological cooperation network. Network characteristics such as density are analyzed through structural characteristic analysis among the network analysis indicators. The structural characteristics of the technology cooperation network are confirmed through analysis of status characteristic indicators, such as the degree of centrality, betweenness centrality, and closeness centrality. Results show that car makers such as Toyota and Hyundai Motors, as well as parts suppliers such as Bosch and Continental, have high-performance technology developments related to autonomous driving. The structural characteristics of the network show that companies participating in cooperative networks for autonomous driving technology development have increased in number and are diversified, and all of the status characteristics indicators have decreased. This can be interpreted as an increasing number of horizontal and complementary forms of technological cooperation between firms. In addition, it was confirmed that the number of participants in the field of autonomous driving technology has increased, and the networks have become more complex.

  • Nowadays, most car manufactures have tried to improve fuel efficiency and corrosion resistance of car body. Therefore, use of high strength steels and coated steel becomes more and more increased. In this study, spot weld characteristics according to lap sequence of sheets were analyzed using simulation method for three different steel sheet of car body which were EDDQ class coated steel with 0.7t, high strength steel 440R with 1.2t and advanced high strength steel DP 590 with 1.0t. Using simulation, weldability was evaluated by nugget size of welded zone according to nugget growth curve and welding current with respect to lap sequence of sheets. Contact resistance of each sheets contact point was used to analyze formation of nugget and optimal lap sequence was suggested.

  • Recharging battery in electric vehicle takes a quite long time compared with gasoline and diesel vehicle which is a problem, the industries should solve, to introduce the electric vehicle into the market. For this reason, the institutions are suggesting a method replacing the discharged battery to recharged battery which is recharged in the switching center. However, this technology is still required to make clear the controversial issues such as threats to security and identification of users. In this paper, we explore the factors that threats to securities in battery exchange system and define the security requirements of the battery exchange system to solve suggested issues. The results of the research are expected to be the reference in the other studies of electric vehicle field of the commercialization of the battery recharging methods and analysis of the securities.

  • The Next-generation IT technology has been evolving from single technique to another which has merged, converging characteristics. The government categorized the 5 essential technologies to secure competitiveness in designing system semiconductors as smart motor vehicle info-tainment platform, smart TV multimedia system, smart phone analog interface technique, smart convergence digital communication and RF techniques, and advanced power management for smart devices. Also, it designated smart phone, smart TV, smart motor vehicle, and smart pad as the key industries. Such core techniques will become the key technologies of semiconductor design to secure the competitiveness of the next generation smart devices and the techniques can be transferred to fab-less design companies. In this contribution, we analyze the issues and the problems of the SoC design trends for smart motor vehicle info-tainment platforms.
