A Study on the Development of Instructional Materials for Systematic "Programming" by Realization of the Mathematical Program (수학 프로그램 구현을 통한 체계적 '프로그래밍' 교수 자료 개발에 관한 연구)

  • There is an increasing concern about computer education with the age of knowledge-based society. The learning programming language is taking an important role of computer education. However, the special emphasis in learning programming language has been attached to memorizing the programming language by rote and learning computer programs. Therefore, those were not much useful tools to develope a logical intelligence of the meanings of programming language and the methods of realization. It is positively necessary to improve the programming education efficiently because of the objects of knowledge of computing and raising an efficiency of problem solving. Under the circumstances, this research is aimed at representing an useful education model through developing a mathmatical program into each part of the C programming language, which would be a new supplier of an basic insight into the programming language and techniques. Accordingly it is thought that the research material will be an useful model to increase interests and concerns as well as to raise an efficiency of problem solving or a logical intelligence going through the process of studying programming language.

신경회로의 로보트 및 자동화 응용

  • 제6세대 컴퓨터로 불리는 신경컴퓨터는 학습과 병렬처리에 의해 인간의 두뇌 기능을 모방한다. 인간의 두뇌는 시각 인식, 음성인식, 촉각 감지등 패턴 인식뿐 아니라 인간의 복잡한 신체구조를 시각, 촉각 같은 감각기관의 도움을 얻어 움직이는 중요한 역할도 한다. 바로 이 모터제어(motor control)역시 신경회로가 담당하기 때문에 이를 기계적 신체에 해당하는 로봇 또는 광범위하게 기계, 비행기, 산업공정에 응용하는 것은 매우 자연스럽게 보인다. 이처럼 신경회로가 제어에 응용되는 것을 신경제어(neurocontrol)라 하고 이를 이용한 기계를 지능기계(intelligent machinery)라 한다. 지능기계는 기본적으로 인간처럼 경험축적, 학습, 불확실한 환경에서의 적응, 자기진단 등의 장점을 가지고 있다. 신경회로의 지극히 광범위한 응용분야중 신경제어는 가장 먼저 실현될 가능성이 높다. 실제로 로봇나 공정제어(process control)처럼 복잡한 비선형 시스템의 제어는 다량의 센서 정보에 기초한 실시한 제어를 필수로 하며 이는 신경회로를 사용함으로써 가장 효율적, 경제적으로 구현할 수 있다. 실제로 신경제어는 전세계적으로 이미 시스템 제어에 응용되어 좋은 결과를 내고 있다. 신경회로의 로봇나 자동화 응용은 학술적인 측면에서는 복잡한 비선형 시스템의 지능제어(intelligent control)문제에 대한 신선한 해결책을 마련해줄 뿐 아니라 산업자동화라는 막대한 시장을 뒤로 하고 있어 이론에서 실제에 걸쳐 가장 광범위한 파급효과를 가지는 최첨단 기술로 보여진다. 고부가가치 상품을 통한 국제경쟁력 제고의 차원에서도 정부, 기업 등의 과감한 연구 개발투자가 선행되어야 한다. 특히 이 분야의 연구는 선진국도 최근에 시작한 점으로 보아 정부, 기업이 이에 대한 연구개발 투자를 현명하게 할 경우에 세계적 기술 경쟁력도 확보할 수 있을 것이다. 본 해설에서는 로봇 및 시스템 제어에 관한 기초 이론과 신경회로 적용기술을 소개하고 기존방법과 비교했을 때의 우월성, 전세계적인 응용연구, 국내외 연구개발 현황, 상업화 가능성, 산업계 응용례, 기술상의 문제점, 향후 전망 등을 다루기로 한다.

Analysis on Elementary Students' Proportional Thinking : A Case Study with Two 6-graders (초등학교 6학년 학생의 비례 추론 능력 분석 : 2명의 사례 연구)

  • This study was conducted with two 6-graders to identify how were their proportional reasoning abilities, whether they evolved proportional thinking in a various context, and what had influence on their proportional thinking. The findings, as previous researches noted, suggested that the proportional expression obtaining by instrumental understanding could not provide rich opportunities for students to improve understanding about ratio and proportion and proportional reasoning abilities, while being useful for determining the answers. The students were able to solve proportional problems with incorporating their knowledge of divisor, multiples, and fraction into proportional situations, but not the lack of number sense. The students easily solved proportional problems experienced in math and other subjects but they did not notice proposition in problems with unfamiliar contexts.

  • Smartphone is becoming popular from younger generation to old generation because of its convenience. Generalizing use of smartphone, it was being developed and released for education application from based on PC to smartphone. in this paper, this application was designed and developed an helpful and enjoyable application for those who very interested child education. in this paper, suggestion of the propose of education is provided on service various contetns. The children can do implement information about organism characters living in sea just selected them they want without going to sea and aquarium whenever they want. this application is implemented that children also can be relearning the organism characters by quiz that already learned them before, and developing artistic sense, creativity and imagination by coloring exercise.

  • TPR(Total Physical Response) is a new representative learning method for children's education. Today's approach to TPR has focused on signals from a user which becomes input data in a human-computer interaction, but the accuracy of sensing from body signals(e. g. motion and voice) isn't so perfect that it seems difficult to apply on an education system. To overcome these limits, we suggest a mediating interface device which can detect the user's motion using correct numerical values such as acceleration and angular speed. In addition, we suggest new design requirements for the mediating device through analyzing children's behavior as human factors by ethnography research and protocol analysis. As a result, we found that; children are unskilled in physical control when they use objects; tend to lean on an object unconsciously with touch. Also their behaviors are restricted, when they use objects. Therefore a mediating device should satisfy new design requirements which are make up for unskilled handling, support familiar and natural physical activity.

  • In the IOT social environment, which emphasizes the convergence of science and technology and emotion, this study aims to explore the experience and meaning of the experience while participating in the design convergence class based on the operation of the Learning community of Chinese graduate students majoring in design. To this end, an implementation study was conducted by visualizing various research problems using a design-based inquiry method for 12 graduate students attending T University. The design-oriented convergence class was conducted in a small group with content that was deepened into a visual strategy by the expression technique given by the external environment and the learner's own inner motivation. In order to express the perspective and intention of the research problem in the research, the convergence design research expressed using various visual strategies such as metaphorical use and analysis of visual data in the research process and sensory approach to the research problem was presented in a form that expresses the creative thinking process. As a way of exploration, the teaching method of presenting results based on various experiences suggests changes in new teaching formats, practical knowledge sharing by instructors, and community participation by learning participants.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the meaning and process of scientific observation. Hence, this study reviewed and discussed meanings and process of scientific observation described in philosophy, the philosophy of science and science education. Major researches on scientific observation are focused on a characteristic and type of scientific observation behavior. These research can suggest what is the characteristic of observation facts generated by observer. But it cannot show what is the meaning and process of scientific observation, it should be provide to students. According to the result in this study, scientific observation is affected by observer's subjective factors, such as experience, background knowledge, interpretation(not inference) and observation skill. All factor are integrated as an intellectual framework, and it is able to be changed by the observed facts. On the other hand, inference is excluded on scientific observation, but it have constantly affect on intellectual framework through feedback. This study on scientific observation provides a scaffold in various activities of scientific observation to be provided to students.

  • The study tries to differentiate the levels of mathematical reasoning from inductive reasoning to formal reasoning for teaching gradually. Because the formal point of view without the relation to objects has limitations in the creation of a new knowledge, our mathematics education needs consider the such characteristics. We propose an intuitive level of proof related in concrete operations and perceptual experiences as an intermediating step between inductive and formal reasoning. The key activity of the intuitive level is having insight on the generality of reasoning. The details of the process should pursuit the direction for going away from objects and near to formal reasoning. We need teach the mathematical reasoning gradually according to the appropriate level of reasoning more differentiated.

  • This study is for elementary school student's spatial ability improvement. We have to know their correct spatial ability for teaching it more effectively. And then we can organize about spatial ability one of schoolbook systematically and step by step. Therefore this study did survey elementary school student's spatial ability by grades and school score using newly developed spatial ability survey test. According to result, First, elementary school students spatial ability be developed gradually more 5th, 6th grades than 3th, 4th grades. Second, it was researched that high score student's spatial ability is better than score student lower student's. But the result was influenced by school's curriculum. The score of contents in school's curriculum higher than it's not. Synthetically, the suggestion is what the curriculum is changed. It need to input the contents of spatial abilities and more detailed study.
