경희대학교 천문대는 한국과학창의재단에서 후원하는 2013년 과학문화 민간활동 지원사업의 일환으로 "청소년, 우주를 향해 미래를 쏘다!"라는 멘토링 프로그램을 2013년 7월 23일부터 2014년 2월 28일까지 진행하였다. 본 프로그램의 참가대상은 경기지역 고등학교 1, 2학년 학생 32명이 참가하였고, 대학생 멘토 8명과 팀으로 활동하였다. 본 프로그램의 목적은 달 탐사를 주제로 한 체험프로그램을 통해 청소년들의 우주개발의 현황을 체험할 수 있는 기회를 제공하고, 체험 프로그램을 활용하여 창의력, 협동심, 자신감을 함양시키며 이공계 분야의 비젼과 진로 방향을 제시하는 것이다. 본 프로그램은 6개의 주제로 총 10회 동안 진행되었으며, 각각의 주제는 우리나라 우주개발 현장체험, 달탐사의 필요성 체험, 발사체 및 탑재체의 이해와 체험, 청소년이 바라본 우리나라 달탐사의 미래, '우주로' 체험 캠프, 최종발표회이다. 프로그램은 체험, 조사, 발표 및 토의 형식으로 진행되었다. 본 프로그램에서 기대되는 성과는 조별 활동 및 다양한 체험 실습으로 협동심 및 인성을 함양하고, 천문학/공학 분야의 전공 대학생의 멘토링으로 논리적, 체계적, 비판적인 사고를 유도하고, 학연 협력을 활용한 현장학습으로 청소년들의 이공계에 대한 흥미를 유발하고 진로 방향을 제시하며, 다양한 체험 실습 및 미래 지향적인 컨텐츠를 활용하여 천문학 및 우주과학에 대한 호기심을 자극하는 것이다. 본 프로그램에서의 최종 성과물은 기존의 달탐사와 차별적인 주제와 방법론을 고안하여 논리적이고 창의적으로 우리나라의 달탐사에 대한 방법론적인 아이디어를 유도하는 것에 중점을 두었다.

Talent is a person who has the values and skills necessary to achieve effective goals and performance of the nation, society, organization, and individuals, or those who play a key role in generating the success or performance of the nation and companies. It can be said that it is a talented person who will achieve a well-equipped library world and a knowledge-based national society. In this study, in order to derive the talent image of the librarian, the talent image, competency, role of the librarian, librarian job development, PEST analysis, etc. suggested in various fields of society including the library world were performed. First, 11 human resources were derived, and 4 types of human resources were derived through the FGI process, and a verification process was conducted for users, librarians, and students. Finally, in this study, four librarian talents were proposed: creative convergence type talent, personality type talent, professional type talent, and communication type talent.

As increasing the emphasis of competence-based learning, Project-base instruction is adopted more with frequency at the educational field. This study focuses on developing the methodology of project-based instructional system. The first one is to manage the project independently not to link with any module. The second one is to link a project to a module. And the third one is to link a project to the more than two major modules. Also It suggests the tool for project based instruction. Before & after class conducting the inspection for increasing satisfaction of instruction by the systematic management and improvement, the project base instruction shows the positive effect to promote the creative personality and problem solving ability. The contentment of the class increases 7% more at the 2nd year than the 1st. As a result, it can derive the evaluation of the pupils' higher achievement rate.

Over the past 10 years, STEAM education uprises to address student's low interest in and self-concept in comparison with their academic achievement in science, reacquaintance to enter schools of natural sciences or engineering. However, There is a paucity of empirical evidence revealing values and necessities of STEAM education in school. The purpose of this investigation is to develop steam education program making and using hands on sensor to experience new technology in school, to apply the program to 110 fourth graders, and to study the effect of the program. Pre- and post-test was used to measure level of student's scientific interest and attitude, scientific problem solving ability, scientific creative problem solving ability, personality test for children, satisfaction of school life. In conclusion, the result show that STEAM education improve every domain of the measurements.

In December of 2009, General Curriculum Revised in 2009 was announced and research on corresponding mathematics curriculum revision has been initiated from that period. Finally, in August 2011, Mathematics Curriculum Revised in 2009 was announced. In this new curriculum, Creativity is emphasized as the ability pursued in General Curriculum Revised in 2009. Accordingly, for the purpose of fostering students with creative and challenging minds, teaching and learning methods including the objectives and content should be more carefully implemented in math class. In case of the area of Probability and Statistics closely related to real life situations, it is suggested that school curriculum in mathematics would not deal with only mathematical problems on algorithm, but rather present teaching and learning materials related to the real life in order to recognize the usefulness of the content of Probability and Statistics and to learn how to think about it. In this paper, effective guidelines for teaching and learning the content of Probability and Statistics and its activities that follows the direction on Mathematics Curriculum Revised in 2009' are suggested based on the analysis of the PISA and TIMSS international assessments items. Thus, the guidelines suggested in this study would be used efficiently and appropriately for developing instructional materials or planning curriculum revision and setting its direction in the future.

우리들은 초 중등교육을 통해 암석의 종류와 특징, 지질형태와 퇴적구조, 그리고 화석에 대해 지속적으로 교육 받아왔다. 그러나 암석이나 노두를 보고 학교에서 배운 지식을 바르게 적용할 수 있는 학생은 매우 드물다. 또한 아름다운 경관을 보며 지질학적으로 형성과정을 해석할 수 있는 사람도 매우 드물 것이다. 여기서는 지질경관에 대한 정보를 어떻게 제공하고 있는가에 대한 연구 성과를 정리해보고 문제점을 도출하고자 한다. 현재까지 지질경관을 알려주는 연구 성과를 크게 나누면 3종류가 있다. 첫째, 지질학습장의 개발 및 활용에 관한 연구이다. 이 부류의 수집된 자료는 학위논문(29편)과 전문학술지(27편)로 현재 56편이나 검색에 따라 더 늘어날 것이다. 이들은 야외 노두에 대한 효과적인 지질학습을 위한 자료개발을 위주로 하고 있다. 이러한 내용들은 전문가 양성에는 대단히 좋은 프로그램이지만 청소년이나 일반대중들에게 너무 어려운 내용으로 구성되어 있다. 또한 교육청에서 주관하는 탐방계획으로 "경기도 지구과학교사 연구회"가 있는데, 주로 경기도 한탄강유역을 대상으로 하고 있다. 이 연구회 자료에서는 지역의 특성을 살린 야외지질학습장을 개발하고 현장에 적용하기 위한 노력을 볼 수가 있다. 두 번째로 과학전람회 자료로서 현장교사와 학생들의 야외학습에 대한 인식이 잘 나타나 있다. 수집된 자료는 총 55편으로 야외지질조사를 통해 관찰 자체에 중점을 두었는데, 최근에는 노두관찰에 덧붙여 탐구학습 태도와 창의성을 함양하는 쪽으로 옮겨가고 있다. 세 번째 자료는 일반대중을 위한 서적이다. 이 서적들은 저자들의 전공에 따라 그 내용이 다소 다르다. 즉 일반여행안내 책자는 노두나 암석은 소개하고 있으나 지질학적 설명이 전혀없으며(예, 남도해안 2000리), 지리학자들의 저술에는 지형의 형성을 지질학적으로 설명하려 애쓴 흔적이 보인다(예, 한국지리이야기). 다음으로 지구과학들의 저술은 전형적인 지질답사 안내서에 가까워 내용 자체는 좋으나 흥미가 다소 떨어진다(예, 가족이 함께 떠나는 지질여행, 제주도 지질여행). 지질학과 흥미를 적절히 혼합한 책으로 '우리 땅 과학 답사기'정도가 있다. 최근 한국암석학회에서는 "우리의 명산"을 지질과 경관의 관점에서 해석하려는 심포지엄을 2차례 가졌다. 그러나 그 내용면에서는 경관지질이라는 개념을 정립했다고 보기에는 다소 미흡 하나, 황상구 교수의 주왕산에 관한 내용은 앞으로 경관지질 연구에 대한 발전의 여지를 보여주었다. 앞으로 지질경관에 대하여 지질학적 야외답사나 과학지식 습득에 국한시키지 말고, 그 지역의 특성을 살린 관광 또는 민속과 연계하여 지구과학적 학습효과와 더불어 인성교육에 도움이 되는 학습 콘텐츠를 개발하도록 노력해야 할 것이다. 일반 대중이 우리나라의 빼어난 지질 경관을 손쉽게 이해하고 즐기게 되면, 세계자연유산이나 세계지질공원을 지정 받는 과정도 더 쉬워질 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to present the basic data needed to improve the arts, music, and physical education provided by local child care centers based on an investigation of the current status of and satisfaction with the education. The subjects of this study were 17 local child care centers in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, and the situation of the arts, music, and physical education programs operated from 2014 to 2016 were examined. In addition, 419 children who received the education were surveyed to evaluate their level of satisfaction. The results of this study are as follows. As regards the status of the arts education from 2014 to 2016, it was observed that three of the 17 local child care centers did not have any arts, music or physical education at all, while six of them continuously implemented all three of these programs during this period of time. Two and six of the 17 institutes had arts, music, and physical education programs for two years and one year, respectively. All of the teachers who ran the arts and music education programs of the 17 institutes were arts and music majors who were certified teachers of the liberal arts. However, the physical education programs were run as volunteer activities by college students majoring in physical education. The survey on the level of satisfaction of the children who participated in the arts, music, and physical education programs showed that they were helpful for the overall life experience of the children and that they were more helpful for the boys than for the girls. The level of satisfaction with the education was high for most of the students who participated in the programs, however the boys were more satisfied than the girls. When asked whether they would participate in the arts, music, and physical education programs again, most of the respondents answered that they would do so. The boys were more likely to participate again than the girls. Based on this study, in order to enhance the creativity and personality education of the children using the local child care centers, higher quality education is needed. Arts and music education can be used to help children to learn to communicate smoothly with their friends. In addition, it seems to be necessary to enhance the education by setting goals that are suitable for its purpose, in order to provide creative arts and music education that contributes to the physical health and emotional stability of the children.
