조직관리와 직무만족: 한국의 교육기관에 대한 위계적 선형모형(HLM) 분석

  • 본 연구는 조직관리자의 조직 내부 및 외부관리 노력과 관리경력 등 관리자의 개인적 특성이 조직구성원의 직무만족에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증적 분석을 실시한다. 층화군집추출로 표집된 한국의 150개 중학교에 대해 3년간 학교, 교장 및 교사 조사를 통해 얻어진 다중원천 자료에 근거하여 위계적 선형모형(HLM)분석을 실시한 결과, 조직관리자인 교장의 관리경력 등 개인적 특성과 함께 교장의 내부관리 노력과 상부기관 및 학부모 등 주요 이해관계자에 대한 의견수렴 등 외부관리 노력이 모두 교사들의 직무만족에 긍정적 영향을 미치고 있음을 발견하였다. 이러한 결과는 선행연구에서 제시하는 개인 및 조직수준 직무만족 설명변수들인 교사의 인구통계학적 특성, 직무동기, 자기효능감, 학교유형, 조직규모, 소재지역, 학교자원 등을 모두 통제한 상태에서 나타났다는 점에서 최근 공공관리 문헌에서 주목받고 있는 관리가 중요하다(management matters)는 주장의 한국적 맥락에서의 타당성을 지지하고 있다.

A History of the Korean Association for Communication & Information Studies (KACIS) for 20 Years (한국언론정보학회 20년, 비판적 학술운동의 고민과 한계)

  • KACIS was established in 1988 for critical academic movement in communication area. For 20 years after establishment, KACIS has grown into major academic society. The purpose of this article is reflection on the history of KACIS for 20 years. For this, this article review three areas on KACIS. First, It examine how critical academic movement that was initiated in middle of 1980s was changed in gear with Korean Society's shift. Second, It turn around the activity of 'Korean study group for society and communication', the predecessor of KACIS, which operate during $1988{\sim}1998$. Third, it consider KACIS's activity after convert to association, during $1998{\sim}2008$. When look back to 20 years of KACIS, first of all, the biggest fruit is to extend critical communication in academic area. However, several controversies exist about KACIS's identity. Conclusively, this article emphasize, for further development, organizing organic academic conference about social pending issue, strengthening journal's identity, fostering future academic generation, vitalizing research divisions.

  • In the face of crisis in the news media industry, many people prospect that new technology can save it. But there is no discussion about how new technology works and what is its limitations and which direction of development is needed. In view of media, this article analyzed 'news chatbot' as new technology. Firstly, this article defined bot and discussed bot's agency based on actor network theory. Secondly, it analysed bots which are acting as media and discussed features of the messenger platform as a communication tool. Thirdly, it presents examples of news chatbot and analyzed how they work. Finally, it predicts the future of news chatbot and discussed the possibility of journalism.

  • Star is riddled with myth while they form the star power and support advertisers for profit realization. Their influence on society and audiences grows day by day. In particular, advertisers depend on star power when they sell their products. This article analyzed the nature of the star power dominating media resources and offering the distorted picture of consumer culture. I take a political economic view of consumer capitalism and star. The article shows how stars contribute to the accumulation of capital and defense of class relations in the consumer culture.

  • 본 硏究는 現在 일상적 있는 재생조골재를 죠오크러져(modified-jaw crusher)를 이 용하여 다시 1-3 파쇄를 행함으로써 재생골재의 품질이 어느정도 개량될 수 있는가를 실험 적으로 구명하여 재생골재의 실용화를 위한 하나의 방법을 제한하고자 하는 것이다. 실험결 과,재화파생 처리를 행하지 않은 경우의 재생근 골재의 흡수율은 5-7%정도이나 재파쇄를 함에 따라 흡수율은 현저하게 낮아져, 3차례의 재파쇄를 행한 경우 흡수율이 2% 이래로 나 타나 재생근골재의 품질을 학보하기 위하여는 재파쇄가 매우 유용한 방법임을 알 수 있었 다. 또한 흡수율의 본포도 처음에는 2개의 범주를 가지고 넓게 산포하게 되나 재파쇄가 진 행될수록 재생근골재중에 부착되어 있던 모르터분이 점차 떨어져 나감에 따라 품질의 산포 가 상당히 낮아지는 결과를 얻었다. 그러나 이와같은 재파쇄에는 많은 실용적 부담이 발생 하게 되므로 골재의 품질과 경제적효율을 고려하여 정적한 재파쇄회수가 결정되어야 할 것 으로 사료 된다.

  • It is an objective of Shanghai urban development to quickly build Shanghai into one of the international centres of economy, finance and trade. To fulfil the objective, a rational urban general layout and a satisfactory traffic network are needed. As a metropolis with complete urban functions and specified geographical position, Shanghai must develop a perfect citytown system that best suits its composite urban distribution. In planning the central city, the principle of "open and multi-centred" and "optimization of land use" should be taken into consideration. To build a satisfactory urban traffic network, emphasis should be laid upon the construction of deefwater wharf, air-field and inforation centre. In addition, determination should be made to build a high-speed traffic means including high speed railroad and express highway so that a public traffic network is realised on and above ground, and underground. A solution of traffic preblem in Shanghai lies in good understanding of traffic policy and strenthening of strategic management combined with a rational layout of traffic circulation.

  • The research focused on the return of class analysis of the media soctor. It is told that class is a determining factor of media industry. This article is divided in to four sections that represent class analysis of media. In this study, I claimed that class analysis is necessary of understanding the nature of media industrial capital and its nature. With their domination of the media, big corporations seek to control political power and information. This article has demonstrated that the media power of corporations should be curved.

Research on Factors Affecting the Effects of Reading Replies (댓글 읽기 효과에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구)

  • This study tried to examine the effect of reading replies on the changes of attitudes towards the subject of online news articles. For that purpose, an experiment was conducted in which participants were asked to read an article and the replies attached. Attitudes were measured before and after reading replies. Another interest of this research was to examine factors affecting the attitude change after reading replies. It was found that while credibility of replies and efficacy belief of the news subject had negative impacts on the attitudes, individuals' information seeking characteristics gave positive impacts on the attitudes after reading replies. This study concludes with discussion and implications of the findings.

  • Policymakers' active support as well as broadcasting and telecom industries' endeavors seeking new business opportunities speed up the introduction of a new medium called DMB in Korea. Meanwhile, discussions from a critical perspective concerning the policy rationale, cultural and social implications of DMB and policy processes are rather scanty. The discussion of policy rationale focuses upon whether the rationale to introduce DMB is sufficiently valid. The discussion of DMB's cultural and social bearings is concerned with whether the implications of new media and technology are properly considered in policymaking and that of policy processes questions whether the initial conditions of DMB are appropriately structured. This study explores such issues associated with the introduction of DMB in Korea.

The Valorization of Media Capital through User's Activities (이용자를 통한 미디어 자본의 가치 창출)

  • This paper deals with the questions: Are media user's activities labour? Or rent? These questions have provoked a debate in the critical media studies and Marx's theory. But it is not a matter of choosing either labour or rent. Even if user's activities could contribute to valorization, it needs some mediating process. Media Platforms-Google, Facebook, etc.-play a key role, and have to employ other forms of labour. Labour in media platform produces some capital commodities. In view of media platform, Smythe's audience commodity can be considered as capital commodity. Assertion in this paper expected to provoke new debate on media platforms and its labourer.
