This paper aims to analyze the hyperlink between the portal sites and the press dot coms news and to grasp the features of news service on the online journalism. As a result of the analysis, the portal sites, in the number of news articles which the hyperlink service had been provided, were more than the press dot coms. But in the number of the hyperlinks in the news story which hyperlink service had been provided, the press dot coms were more than the portal sites. The contents that were hyperlinked to the news stories of online journalism were composed of a informative type and an advertising one. All contents that were hyperlinked to the news stories on portal site were informative. On the other hand, about 92% of the contents that were hyperlinked to the news stories on the press web sites were advertising. By means of this analysis, the features of news service on the online journalism could be grasped.

하이퍼링크 환경에서의 정보검색은 주로 문서에 존재하는 링크정보를 이용하여 이루어진다. 본 논문은 하나의 문서에 존재하는 여러 개의 하이퍼링크마다 연결되는 문서와의 유사성을 측정하여 차등적으로 링크의 연결정보를 부여하여 기존의 알고리즘을 개선하였고, 관련이 없는 문서로의 하이퍼링크로 인해 발생되는 topic drift현상을 제거하기 위해 문서와 확장된 질의와의 유사성을 측정하여 문서의 가중치를 계산에 적용하도록 알고리즘을 개선하였다. 개선한 알고리즘의 성능을 확인하고자 TREC10의 web tree부분에 적용하여 향상된 검색 결과를 얻었다.

최근 인터넷을 대상으로 하는 정보검색의 방법 중 하이퍼링크 정보를 이용한 방법이 각광받고 있다. 그리고 하이퍼링크 정보이외에 문서내에 존재하는 다양한 정보를 이용하여 검색 성능을 향상시키고자 하는 시도가 지속적으로 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 문서와 문서 사이의 유사도를 이용하여 하이퍼링크의 가중치를 부설하여 검색 성능을 향상시킨 방법을 개선하여 문서내의 주제정보를 추출하고 주제 단위의 유사도를 이용하여 하이퍼링크의 가중치를 새롭게 부여하여 링크분석 알고리즘에 적용하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 방법이 문서사이의 유사도를 이용한 방법보다 뛰어난 성능을 나타내고 있음이 입증되었다.

We present the seamless browsing - a new Zooming technique based on the zoom ratios and the distances of the hyperlinks from the pointer. In most cases, users have to activate the interesting link after guessing the target content of it, just based on the insufficient information from the link label or title. We propose that a web browser displays a limited number of hyperlinks in an area around the pointer in a distinguished way, e.g. in different sizes of thumbnails, transparency or style. If a user zooms in on the pointer area, to new web browser displays the varying images of hyperlink-targets according to the zoom ratio, and finally it transfers to the new target page which was nearest to the pointer position. This method allows users to easily select a hyperlink based on rich information given by zoomable thumbnails and seamlessly to transit through web pages just with zooming. 1n our experiments, results show that the seamless browsing significantly outperforms the legacy way.

We have suggested three learning rules and implemented an experimental system that automatically restructures hypertext networks according to their user browsing behavior. The system applies link weights to the hypertext networks and updates these weights according to the learning rules. The learning rules are based on how often a particular hyperlink is being traversed and operate on strictly local information of link traversals. Changes in network structure are fed back to users by dynamic link ordering according to descending link weight. This approach is used collaborative filtering and navigation support techniques. The system has been investigation to be able to structure random hypertext networks into valid representations of their user browsing preferences in experiments.

This study analyzed the characteristics of hyperlink service from news articles in chosun.com and washington Post sites. The study showed that the Washington Post revealed many hyperlink-related elements and an increase in interactivity while Chosun.com was not established consistent hyperlink service. Also, this study analyzed news distribution based on genre, as a result, the life section was occupied the highest proportion with 32.4% for Chosun.com, while the news sections were evenly distributed for the Washington Post. Finally, as a result of classifying the linked words into 3 categories(Informational, navigational, and transactional), the highest contents category in both Chosun.com and Washington Post turned out to be informational words. Theses results can be used to develop and provide the effective link service of news articles in internet newspaper sites.

The purpose of this research was to investigate cognitive differences between the processes making hyperlinking and citing decisions as perceived by scholarly authors themselves. 15 Indiana University faculty and doctoral students who had published at least one scholarly electronic paper containing at least one external hyperlink were interviewed. Four different types of hyperlinking behaviors were emerged from the interview data. The findings of the study revealed that there are no consensually agreed-upon conventions on the use of hyperlinks in scholarly environments although the majority of the authors tend to follow the implicit norms of conventional citation practices.

현대사회에서 인터넷 이용은 인간으로서 기본적인 삶의 문제가 되어 매일 인터넷을 이용하지 않는 경우는 것의 없으며, SNS를 사용하면서 거의 매일 하이퍼링크를 하고 있다. 그러나 이러한 하이퍼링크가 합법적으로 업로드된 저작물에 연결되는 것에 대해서는 별로 문제가 되지 않지만, 불법적으로 업로드된 저작물에 링크를 하고, 이러한 링크를 관리하여 수익모델을 가지고 있는 개인 및 기업의 증가로 대한민국뿐만 아니라, 전세계적으로 저작권법적인 문제가 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 미국, EU, 대한민국의 판례를 간략하게 정리하고, 현재까지 판례를 비판하며, 입법론을 제안해 보고자 한다.

본 논문은 하이퍼텍스트 문서의 자동분류 성능을 높이기 위한 새로운 접근법을 제시한다. 하이퍼텍스트 문서는 일반 문서와 달리 하이퍼링크로 서로 연결된 구조를 가진다. 이 하이퍼링크 정보는 대상문서와 연관도가 높은 정보를 가지고 있으며, 이러한 링크 정보로부터 특징을 보다 잘 선별하기 위해서는 보다 정밀한 접근법이 필요하다. 본 논문은 단어간 의미 유사도를 기반으로 하이퍼텍스트 링크 정보를 활용한 특징 가공기법을 제안한다. 제안 기법은 하이퍼링크 문서로부터 대상문서와 연관도가 높은 특징을 추출하기 위해 단어간 유사도 함수를 사용하며, 유사도 함수는 워드넷의 상/하위어 관계를 이용한다. 그리고 추출된 특징들 중 의미적으로 비슷한 개념의 특징들을 합병함으로써 의미적으로 보다 견고한 분류 모델을 구축한다. 제안 기법을 검증하기 위해 Web-KB 문서집합을 이용하여 실험을 수행하였고 실험 결과 기존 방법보다 우수한 성능을 보였다.

The purpose of this study was to Identify the similarities and differences between the hyperlinking practice of scholarly e-journal authors and conventional citing practice. 230 scholarly e-journal articles containing at least two hyperlinks and their authors were selected as the sample for the study. A mail questionnaire survey of the authors of the sampled e-journal articles was conducted (with a response rate of $70\%$) to collect quantitative data on the authors' hyperlinking motivations. In addition, a content analysis of the e-journal articles and the source documents hyperlinked in the articles was conducted to examine the patterns of hyperlinks. A comparison between the quantitative results of this hyperlinking study and previous citation studies was made. The results revealed not only some similarities but also several significant differences between them.
