A Study on the Design and the Analysis of Hybrid Inverter (하이브리드 인버터 설계 및 특성해석에 관한 연구)

  • PWM(Pluse Width Modulation) induction motor drives are being used in greater numvers through a wide variety of industrial and commercial applications. In this paper, a new speed control algorithm (hybrid algorithm) for induction motor drives that uses regular sampled PWM and harmonic elimination PWM is presented. The hybrid algorithm in implemeted on the computer to obtain solutions from the calculation equations of the width of the pulses and the firing angles for the selected harmonic elimination. this paper describes the time delay effects and the suitable compensating methods moreover, optical transmission system for driving signals is proposed and is compared with general trnasmission system. The hybrid inverter was tested with induction motor, and these test results are shown that this hybrid inverter closely approximates and exhibits many of the desirable performance characteristic distortions and eliminated the objectionable harmonics. Finally, detailed experimental investigation of the proposed hybrid scheme in presented.

  • 본 연구에서는 RPP(Randomized Pulse Position PWM)의 특징과 RSF(Random Switching Frequency PWM)의 특징을 모두 갖는 하이브리드 RPWM (Random PWM)기법을 제안하였다. 제안된 방법은 PRBS(Pseudo-Random Binary Sequence)로 동작하는 시프트 레지스터의 lead-lag 랜덤 비트를 사용한다는 점에서 종전의 방법과 동일하나, 이와 논리적인 비교를 위해 랜덤 주파수의 삼각파를 이용한다는 점에서 종전의 방법과 다르다. 본 연구의 타당성을 확인하기 위하여 인버터 기반의 3상 유도모터 구동시스템에 제안된 방법을 적용하였다. 그 결과 종전의 방법에 비하여 인버터 구동 유도모터의 전압 및 전류의 고조파 스펙트럼의 광 대역화에 탁월한 효과가 있음을 입증할 수 있었다.

Hybrid Sliding-Mode Controller for the Speed Control of a Hydraulic Inverter-Fed Elevator (유압식 인버터 엘리베이터의 속도제어를 위한 하이브리드 슬라이딩모드제어기)

  • Due to the friction characteristics of pump, cylinder packing and passenger car, in the elevator actuated with hydraulic inverter-fed systems, there exist dead zones, which cannot be controlled by a PID controller. To overcome the drawbacks, in this paper, we propose a new hybrid control scheme, which switches the modes between a sliding mode controller and a PID controller. The proposed hybrid control scheme achieves an improved control performance by using both controllers. We first propose a design method of sliding mode controller for a hydraulic elevator system controlled by inverters, then fellowed by a design method of a hybrid sliding mode control scheme is proposed. The effectiveness of the proposed control scheme are shown by simulation results, which the proposed hybrid control method yields better control performance then the PID controlled scheme, not only in the zero-crossing speed region but also in the overall control region including steady-state region.

  • Hybrid cascade multilevel PWM inverter has advantages of hybrid structure which enhances the better utilization of power semiconductor switches, that is, both hi호 power-low frequency switch, GTO and low power-high frequency switch, IGBT can be used in the same circuit. In this paper, a static var compensator using hybrid cascade 5-level PWM inverter is presented for high voltage/high power applications. The proposed system is modelled by circuit DQ transformation, and thus an equivalent circuit is obtained which reveals the important characteristics of the system and lead to the related equations. Finally, circuit structure and characteristics is presented and the validity of the characteristics analysis is shown through PSIM simulation.

  • 본 논문은 하이브리드 자동차 및 전기자동차의 고주파 발생시 전자파를 차단하는 역할을 하는 인버터 실드쉘의 프로그레시브 금형의 스트립 레이아웃과 금형설계 및 제작에 관한 연구이다. 총 11공정으로 블랭크 레이아웃을 구성하였고, 3D 금형설계를 하였다. 이와 같이 제작한 금형을 2차에 의한 트라이아웃을 하여 일본에서 수입하던 단발 금형을 프로그레시브 금형으로 인버터 실드쉘을 양산하여 원가절감, 생산성 향상에 기여하였다.

  • 현재 단상 태양광 인버터 분야에서는 고효율을 달성하는 것과 태양전지의 기생 커패시터에 의해 발생하는 지전류를 저감하는 기술이 큰 이슈가 되고 있다. 대중에게 알려진 단상 태양광 인버터 토폴로지로는 풀브릿지, H5, H6, HERIC (high efficiency and reliable inverter concept)등이 있다. 본 논문에서는 풀 브릿지 회로의 바이폴라, 유니폴라 및 하이브리드 변조방식과 H5, H6, HERIC 회로에 대해서 시뮬레이션과 시제품 제작을 통하여 작동원리를 파악하고, 효율과 지전류를 비교하도록 하겠다.

  • In this study, the system was composed of the booster chopper and the power converter, which is a pulse width modulation (PWM) voltage inverter using a hybrid power generation system solar cell energy and wind force, Furthermore, in order to compensate the PWM voltage type inverter was linked with the general commercial power source, and through a normal operation of energy storage system (ESS), the system operated the LED Taxi Light by Wavelength according to Meteorological Changes at the airport in an efficient manner. The performance of the system was compared with the solar cell characteristics specification. In addition, for phase synchronization with the PWM voltage type inverter, the grid voltage was detected so as to operate the grid voltage and inverter output in the same phase and to connect the surplus electric power with the system. Finally, by developing a control circuit at the same time from which an excellent dynamic characteristics can be obtained through applying to the airport runway taxi light, it was concluded that a variety of taxi light can be pursued.

  • Due to the friction characteristics of cylinders and the rail of a passenger car, in the elevator actuated with hydraulic systems, there exist dead zones, which can not be controlled by a PID controller. To overcome the drawbacks, in this paper, we first try a hybrid controller which switches between a fuzzy logic controller and a PID controller. However, because the hybrid control scheme uses only a single type controller, except the switched layer, the high control performance can not be achieved. To solve this problem, we propose a new type fuzzy hybrid control scheme, which outputs of the output mixer arc controlled by a fuzzy logic. The hydraulic elevator system controlled by inverters has more then one switched layers due to the highly nonlinear characteristics. The proposed fuzzy hybrid control scheme achieves improved control performances by using both controllers with weighted outputs depend on the system status, to achieve improved control performances. The effectiveness of the proposed control scheme arc shown by simulation results, which the proposed fuzzy hybrid control method yields good control performance not only in the zero crossing speed region but also in the overall control region including steady-state region.

  • 본 논문에서는 73kW IPMSM으로 구동되는 직렬 하이브리드 전기자동차 구동시스템에서 직류 전압의 운영 수준에 따른 전력변환시스템의 효율을 분석하였다. 여러 직류 전압 수준에 대한 배터리, 커패시터 및 3상 인버터의 손실을 PSIM을 이용한 시뮬레이션을 통해 분석하여 효율을 알아보았다. 직류 동작 전압을 증가시키면 배터리와 커패시터에서의 손실은 감소하지만, 인버터의 손실은 도통 손실과 스위칭 손실의 변동정도에 따라 달라진다. 분석 결과로 $300V_{dc}$에서 $600V_{dc}$로 직류 전압 운영 수준을 증가시키는 경우에 전력변환시스템의 효율은 증가하는 것을 확인하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 2상 하이브리드 스테핑 모터 구동을 위해 H-bridge 회로 또는 3상 인버터를 이용하는 경우의 출력 성능을 비교 검토하였다. 벡터 제어로 구동하는 경우 2상 하이브리드 스테핑 모터의 상전압, 상전류의 THD(Total Harmonic Distortion)과 출력 토크 리플을 분석하였으며, 이를 위해 Matlab/Simulink를 이용한 150W급 스테핑 모터의 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다.
