  • Hardware and software codesign framework called PeaCE(Ptolemy extension as a Cod sign Environment) allows to express both data flow and control flow. To formally verify an fFSM specification which expresses control flow in PeaCE, the step semantics of the model was defined. In this paper, we introduce the automatic verification tool developed by formal semantics of previous work. This tool uses the SMV as inner model checker md, through our tool, users can formally verify some important bugs such as race condition, ambiguous transition, and circulartransition without directly writing logical formulae.

The Treatment of Hemangioma in Lower Lip (하순에 발생한 혈관종 환자의 치험례)

  • Vascular anomalies are common birthmarks. A eight-month-old male infant had a small size, bright red swelling on the lower lip since birth. On cutaneous examination there was a small brightly erythematous, lobulated, soft plaque on the left side of the lower lip of $10{\times}8{\times}5$ mm. Ultrasonogram examination revealed the lesion and confirmed the diagnosis of capillary hemangioma. The decision to initiate treatment is based on many factors, including size, location and risks and benefits of the proposal therapy. Systemic corticosteroids are decided to prevent the scarring and deforming. Prednisolone was given at a dose of 2 mg/kg/day for 2 weeks followed by tapering for 6 weeks for treatment. After eight weeks there was 80% reduction in the size of the lesion and the left lower lip almost completely cleared without intraoral bleeding. Furthermore, intervention by way of systemic steroids, laser therapy or surgical debulking is appropriate and safe in a select group of patients presenting with a proliferating hemangioma. This report describes a case that was sucessfully treated by systemic steroid therapy for hemangima in intraoral region.

Seasonal Occurrence and Damaged Aspects of Frankliniella occidentalis Pergande (Thysanoptera: Thripidae) by Cultural Environments and Varieties of Chrysanthemum (국화 재배환경과 품종에 따른 꽃노랑총채벌레의 발생 및 가해양상)

  • This study investigated seasonal occurrence of Frankliniella occidentalis and its damage on chrysanthemum from 1999 to 2000. F. occidentalis adults were attracted to yellow sticky traps from early April to harvesting time in the field. The highest densities were observed from late April to mid-June in spring culture and from mid-August (just after transplanting) to early September in autumn culture respectively. Seasonal fluctuation in a PVC green house was similar to that in the field. Number of insects per flower were higher in the green house than that in the field. Leaf damages due to the insects were observed from mid-May and increased as chrysanthemum grows (R$^2$ = 0.9200-0.9887$\^$**/, p> 0.01).

  • Experiments were carried out to study on control of stem blight of asparagas caused by Shoma asparagi Sacc. in Suweon, $1976\~1978$. Symptoms of the disease were found in the field from late of May and severe infection was shown thereafter. Plastic film mulching with foliage spray of Topsin 154g a.i. and Difolatan 220g a.i. per 10a at 10days interval during the growing season, gave significantly good control and high yield compared with other treatments. In addition to reduction of the disease, the treatment with mulching has maintained good soil moisture for asparagus growth when the soil moisture was measured at about loom under the soil surface from July to August.

Ecological Characteristics of Paralebeda plagifera femorata (Lepidoptera: Lasiocampidae) in Korea (한국산 대만나방(나비목: 솔나방과)의 생태적 특성)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the life history of Paralebeda plagifera femorata in 1998 and 1999. Ginkgo biloba was newly known to be a host plant for the species in this study. The moth has one generation a year. It overwinted as 6th instar larva on branches of the host plant. The 9th instar larva made a rough cocoon by webbing two or three leaves, and pupated on the branch on late June. The moths emerged from early July through early August with a peak around late July. A female oviposited 205 eggs on an average on the branch, twig, or leaf margin.

Occurrence of Leaf Blight on Sweet Persimmon Tree by Pestalotiopsis theae (Pestalotiopsis theae에 의한 단감나무 둥근갈색 무늬병(가칭)의 발생)

  • 1990이래 단감재배 면적이 확대되고 있는 경주 및 그 인근의 포장으로부터 이미 알려진 병징과는 전혀 다른 병징을 나타내는 병을 단감의 주요 품종인 부유의 이병 잎과 신초로부터 병원균을 분리하고 그 병원 곰팡이의 병원학적 특징을 조사하였다. 이 병은 신초선단부 잎에서 발생하여 아래잎으로 진전되며, 잎에는 잎가장자리나, 중앙부 등 일정한 부위가 없이 발병하여 회갈색의 둥근 무늬가 확대되기도 하고, 심하면 잎이 고사탈락하기도 한다. 심한 경우 병반의 크기가 전체 잎의 1/3이상을 차지할 정도로 크게 확대되었다. 신초는 병의 진전이 심해지면 고사함으로서 나무 생육이 급격히 중지되거나, 나무 수세가 떨어져 수확에도 지장을 주고 있다. 발생시기는 6월 중.하순~7월, 9~10월 초순까지 발병하며, 병든 잎과 가지를 채집하여 병원균을 순수 분리하여 Guba(1949년), Sutton(1969)와 Steyaert(1971)의 분류기준에 따라 동정한 결과는 다음과 같았다. 병원균의 분생포자의 크기는 23.1$\times$7.1 $\mu\textrm{m}$, color cell의 크기와 수는 15.65 $\mu\textrm{m}$, 3개이었고, 포자의 윗부분은 다갈색이었으며 아래부분은 올리브색이었다. Setrlae의 크기와 개수는 23.6 $\mu\textrm{m}$, 2~4(3)개이고, pedicle의 길이는 5.17 $\mu\textrm{m}$였다. 이상의 결과에 근거하여 이 병원균을 Pestalotiopsis theae로 동정하고 국내미기록병으로 보고한다.

Transfer of Cobitis laterimaculata to the Genus Niwaella (Cobitidae) (Cobitis laterimaculata의 속(屬)의 이동(移動))

  • Taxonomic review of Cobitis laterimaculata was carried out based on 17 specimens collected from the Caozejiang River, Huangzezhen, Shengxian county, Zhejiang province, China. The species shares several notable characters with Niwaella spp., including the posterior position of the dorsal fin, small head, color pattern without pigmentary zones of Gambetta, short and curved suborbital spine, short and subequal barbels, strong carina on caudal peduncle, and lack of a lamina circularis on the pectoral fin base in males. We conclude that Cobitis laterimaculata should be transferred from Cobitis to Niwaella.

On the Seedling Time of the Mangrove Oyster, Crassostrea rhizophorae, in the Lagoon of Cocineta in Venezuela (Venezuela국 Cocineta호산 Mangrove oyster의 채묘시기)

  • An investigation on the breeding time of the Mangrove oyster, Crassostrea rhizaphorae, in the lagoon of Cocineta which is located in the northwestern part of Venezuela was carried out from February through May in 1976. Surface water temperature was high, over $25^{\circ}C$ and specific gravity was around 1.0258. Transparency to water depth varied between 29 and $80\%$. The range of water content of the oysters increased from February through May. However, the averge monthly range of water content varied only slightly from 80.67 to $82.25\%$. From the numbers of matured planktonic larvae together with total numbers of planktonic larvae found, we may assume that the best seedling period is from late April through early May. We may also assume that the best area is around stations 4 and 3, station 3 being slightly better than station 4.

The Moderating Effect of Self-leadership in Relationship between Self-image and Work Performance of Nurses (간호사의 자아상과 간호업무성과와의 관계에서 셀프리더십의 조절효과)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the research is to investigate the effect of self-image on work performance and controlling ability of self-leadership in relationship in between self-image and work performance. Methods: The data were collected from Mar 16th to April 15th 2009, a descriptive survey study was conducted with 140 nurses. Results: The hypothesis "Self image of nurse would affect on work performance" is supported ($R^2$=.335, p<.001). In the hypothesis of "Self-leadership would have controlling ability on self-image and work performance", as a result of regression analysis in independent variables of self-image(A) and self-leadership(B), adding relation of both variable($A{\times}B$) would increase in 36.6% (p<.05). Conclusion: Self-image of nurse was confirmed that it had positive effect on work performance and that it had moderating ability on relationship between self-image and work performance. The shaping and strategic operation are required to increase self-leadership and positive development on self-image of nursed.

  • Occurrence of ripe rot in Vitis vinifera cv, Campbell Early was examined at Daegu, Yaungchon, and Kimchon in Kyungbuk province, Korea from 1997 through 1999. Its occurrence was related to rainfall days in July and Auguest. In cv, Campbell Early, the disease started in late July, and increased rapidly from mid August. Considering the incubation time, the pathogen infection might have increased from late July, which was confirmed by wrapping grape clusters in field and in vitro tests. By scanning electron microscopy, it took 24 h or longer for infection to occur in moisturized conditions. Chlrorothalonyl WP (500$\times$) sufficiently reduced ripe rot disease when the chemical was sprayed 3 or 4 times during the growing season.
