  • The temperature development of a structural element is dependent on section factor, which is estimated as a ratio of the fire-exposed perimeter to the cross-section area. Hence, with the higher section factor, the faster temperature development of the section os observed. Composite beam member, partially embedded asymmetry H beam, has a good fire resistance to the cross-section. The study was intended to conduct with change with section factor. The experimental result of section type which the Slim Beam Floor is bottom flange reinforced method.

  • Double split tee connection is a full strength-partial restrained connection that suitable for ordinary moment frame and special moment frame which demonstrates behavior characteristics depending on the stiffness ratio of columns and beams, changes in the geometric shape of the T-stub, number of fasteners and effect of panel zone. For the double split tee connection to ensure structurally safe behavior, it needs to exhibit sufficient strength, stiffness and ductile capacity. This study sought to investigate the effects of the moment-rotation angle relationship of the double split tee connection and to evaluate the initial rotational stiffness of the double split tee connection depending on changes in the geometric shape of the T-stub. To this end, two different double split tee connection specimens are experimented which designed to change geometric parameter values (${\alpha}^{\prime}$) of the T-stub, and a three-dimensional finite element analysis was performed.

  • This study is a simulative Paper on scour around piers. As materials on the river bed have been changing through erosion, transportation and accumulation, so does the waterway's section. Analyzing them through the BOSS SMS. this study deals with the local-scour characters with the change of shapes in row piers which have been built in the identical direction of water flow.

  • The dynamic behavior of spatial structures is different depending on the aspect ration of arch structure, as the rise-span ratio or open-angle, and these spatial structures show differently the character of seismic response in accordance with stiffness and connection of the lower support structures that are directly influenced by earthquake. Therefore, in this paper, dynamic analysis is conducted for seismic response of single layer arch structures by the influence of column's stiffness and connection, to reflect the different vertical and horizontal vibration mode of single layer arch structures. The vertical response of single layer arch structures is more influence by lower columns and the influence of column's connection rotational stiffness is not large, except to the hinged connections.

  • The keel attached on bottom of hull part prevents yacht from flowing sideway by sailing posture. The keel remove a heel moment and make the force of stability. The selection of suitable keel is important bemuse it has an influence on the safety. Also the appendage attached on bottom of keel part lower ballast weight center and have influence on hull stability. The optimum shape about the keel is very important. So this study has compared with characteristics of resistance depending on the shape of the lower part of fin keel in the same surface of water submersion, we have attached three different types of models of lower part of fin keels to the model ships using circulating water channel and analyzed resistance characteristics per shape to arrive at the optimum shape of reduction of resistance.

용융물 냉각 및 간극 형성 실험(LAVA)연구

  • LAVA(Lower-plenum Arrested Vessel Attack) 실험은 중대사고시 고온의 노심 용융물이 냉각수가 존재하는 원자로 용기 하부 반구내로 재배치되는 경우 노심 용융물과 하부반구의 열적 거동 모사와 노심용융물과 하부 반구 사이의 구조 분석 및 고화 후의 용융물형상에 대한 관측을 통하여 노심용융물의 자연 냉각 현상을 규명하고자 하는 실험 연구이다. 원자로 용기 하부 반구를 1/8로 선형 축소한 반구형 반응 용기 내부로 $Al_2$O$_3$/Fe Thermite 용융물을 주입하여 용융물과 하부 반구 사이의 구조 및 하부 반구의 열적 거동을 분석하는 실험을 2회 수행하였다. 각각 20, 40kg의 $Al_2$O$_3$/Fe Thermite 용융물을 주입시 킨 LAVA_PRE, LAVA-1 실험 결과 용융물 주입에 따른 하부 반구의 파손은 발생하지 않았으며, 유사한 실험조건에서 수행된 일본 ALPHA실험에 비해서는 하부 반구의 최대 온도가 500 K 이상 높게 측정되었고 냉각율 또한 현저히 낮게 나타났다. 이는 $Al_2$O$_3$/Fe Thermit 용융물중 과열상태의 Fe성분이 하부 반구와 용접되었기 때문으로 판단되며 보다 정확한 하부 반구의 열적거동을 모사하기 위하여 반구 시편에 대한 재료, 조직 검사를 수행하고 있다. 추후의 실험에서는 하부 반구 내외부의 압력 부하에 따른 반응 양상 및 Fe 용융물(금속용융물) 성분을 제거하고 순수한 $Al_2$O$_3$용융물(산화용융물) 만을 주입하여 용융물 성분에 따른 하부 반구의 열적거동을 분선 할 예정이다.

  • 본 논문에서는 원자력발전소의 부속건물인 냉각탑에 대한 추계론적 해석을 수행하였다. 냉각탑 구조는 원자력발전소의 냉각시스템 부속건물로서 그 규모가 매우 큰 반면 쉘의 두께가 매우 얇아 바람하중에 취약한 구조로서 주로 철근콘크리트로 건설된다. 냉각작용은 냉각탑의 하부에 유입된 외부공기에 의한 대류현상에 의하며 냉각에 필요한 시설은 냉각탑 하부에 위치한다. 이 구조는 형태적 및 재료적 특성에 따라 형상과 재료에서 공간적인 형상불완전과 재료적 불확실성을 가지며, 이들 불확실성은 구조의 응답에 영향을 미친다. 이들 인수의 불확실성을 추계장으로 가정하고 이들 사이의 상관관계를 고려하여 응답에 미치는 영향을 평가하고자 하였다. 해석에는 4절점 층상쉘요소를 사용하였고, 몬테카를로 해석을 적용하였다.
