The harness wiring serves as an intermediary for transmitting the electrical signals necessary to drive the vehicle and is highly influenced by vehicle performance. Wire harness tester performs assembly test. Harness products are operated with the function of checking 0 and 1. Proceed to inspection in wire assembly process. There is a defect in the finished vehicle during use. We want to improve such defects. We design the FPGA and propose the measurement device design and the simulation result that the line and the line are disconnected by ADC precision harness inspection.

Wiring Harness is a medium that transfers the electrical signals necessary to drive a car, and receives a large impact on vehicle performance. Wiring Harness jobs in the workplace material relying on manual worker productivity is low product failure rate is high. Therefore, in this study in order to reduce repetitive humen error, indicated sequentially by the LED lights. We implement a high-performance wireless harness conveyor system.

In this study, the methodology for the fatigue life prediction using finite element method(FEM) in wire, bundle and assembly level of the wire harness system and the development of the fatigue life test machine for the numerical analysis are investigated. To obtain stress-life(S-N) histories of the componential wires of the system, five kinds of wires are prepared and applied to the repeated bending motion using developed fatigue life test equipment. Equivalent model of the wire from the rule of mixtures theory is used for the material modeling of sheath and wire core combination. Contact conditions among the wires, taping conditions are established through the bundle level test and numerical bundle analysis. Wire and bundle level results are adopted for the assembly level analysis. For the assembly level analysis, real wire harness system including bundle and grommet is numerically modeled and applied contact condition between wires with real opening motion. The fatigue life more than 700,000 cycles of the assembly is obtained from the FEM, and it is confirmed that the result has good agreement with the experimental result.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze lower extremities pattern of daily activities and walking on the treadmill with passive body support system. The experiments will be used for basic research of developing active harness system. The experimental procedure has been validated on 5 healthy male subjects and we measured foot pressure and 8 section of lower limb muscles activities. The EMG results of ADL indicate that there have specific muscle activity patterns followed by each activities. The vastus lateralis muscle activities were highly seems on the activities that requires flection and extension of knee joint. The foot pressure value of stair descent activity was the highest due to the fact that it is come down to the direction of gravity. The results with the passive body weight support percentages show that the EMG and foot pressure values were declined according to increasement of the body weight support percentages. Therefore the body weight support system could apply gait rehabilitation system for various patients by changing the percentages of the body weight support.

In this paper, a behavior notification system of the harness of a guide dog is implemented for a blind person to get helps for environmental and situational awareness while walking with the guide dog. IMU modules is attached on the guide dog's harness saddle and the acceleration sensor belt is mounted on its thigh. Gait estimation and behavior judgement are performed by recording and analyzing the outputs of the sensors. Performance analysis for seven different kinds of behaviors has been done. The seven different behaviors, which the guide dog recognizes, are descending stairs, climbing stairs, uphill, downhill, stop, flat road, and selective disobedience. Results for the performance analysis show that the average success rate of the behavior rule estimation of harness of the guide dog is 92.78% and the behavior notification system can be effectively used in real situations.

The small tracking radar is a very important component of the wire harness design because the components are organically connected. In addition, the cable connected to the signal processing unit and the servo unit having a large number of digital signals should be prepared to prevent the CPU of the signal processing unit from malfunctioning due to electromagnetic noise. Cables for signal transmission in the ◯◯ GHz band must reflect the design of temperature, vibration, and shock. To design a wire harness in a small space, the size of the connector must be minimized. The issues to be considered are described and the design plan is presented.

It is difficult to establish a quantitative standard because there are many factors to consider, such as environmental conditions, airworthiness, and maintainability, in determining the installation location of equipment in an aircraft. In addition, as the number of equipment increases, the design proposal increases exponentially, so the design is proceeding depending on the experience of the designer much in order to review it within a limited time schedule. In this paper, a method of calculating the length and weight of the wiring harness according to the location of the equipment and a method of optimizing the weight of the wiring harness and the CG of the equipment using genetic algorithms are described in order to create a quantitative standard useful by comparing the optimal design and the actual design.

In this paper, we measured human body signals in order to verify a active harness system that we developed for gait and balance training. The experimental procedure was validated by tests with 20 healthy male subjects. They conducted motions of Activities of Daily Living(ADL)(Normal Walking, Stand-to-Sit, Sit-to-Stand, Stair Walking Up, and Stair Walking Down) according to body weight support rates (0%, 30%, 50% of subjects' body weight). The effectiveness of the active harness system is verified by using the results of foot pressure distribution. In normal walking, the decrease of fore-foot pressure, lateral soleus muscle and biceps femoris muscle were remarkable. The result of stand-to-sit results motion indicated that the rear-foot pressure and tibialis anterior muscle activities exceptionally decreased according to body weight support. The stair walking down show the marked drop of fore-foot pressure and rectus femoris muscle activities. The sit-to-stand and stair walking up activities were inadequate about the effect of body weight support because the velocity of body weight support system was slower than male's activity.

Recently a large number of electronic control devices are abruptly increasing in vehicles as the electronic industry advances. Also the number of wiring harnesses and complexity of wiring is proportionally increased to the devices. A newly developed connector named bridge connector is introduced in this study for the purpose of the wiring structure changes. A wiring structure among distributed control systems by using serial communication is proposed with the bridge connector in this paper. The bridge connector contains a auto-recovery fuse made by PTC thermistor material for the protection of the over-currents on local control devices. The auto-recovery function of the fuse is needed for the maintenance free system in the distributed controls. The PTC fuse characteristics organized in this study is tested and the results are showed in detail for the real application.
